I liked the idea that it was a family run and operated hotel. The employee I interacted with in the evening and the morning was the son of the owner and he had a masters degree in hotel management. The room was small, but had amenities that you would find in more expensive hotels like coffee, refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast offered yogurt fruit, muffins, and waffles. It was more than sufficient.

I would have liked a shower cap. Hotel can be hard to find as the road from the main road looks like a lane. There is not much they could do unless they are allowed to put up a sign.

Fridge was large for storing plates of food. Room was clean. Plenty of places to shop around as you drive toward Eastdale Mall area turning left onto the highway. Ice machine was available on my floor.

The elevator did not have adequate air flow. It was hot when we were inside it. Breakfast was nice. Wish they had a hot breakfast like cooked eggs and hash browns. Fitness room was under renovation. I will be excited to visit it once it is completed.

Love the newly renovated rooms. Everything looked clean. Beds were comfortable but needed longer or more pillows there were only 3 for 2 people.

Main entrance is still under construction. Breakfast was continental. Would have preferred the bagels and muffins pre packaged instead of out in the open.

Very clean and quiet, the staff were all friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the AC wasn’t too loud, overall very pleasant and enjoyable. There was also a little reading nook by the window which I thought was a cute touch.

The room didn’t have a refrigerator or a microwave, there was a microwave downstairs but it would’ve been nice to know ahead of time, especially for a long term stay. I used a small cooler and put a bag of ice in it every day to use as a sort of mini fridge. Small inconvenience but overall not awful.

Friendly staff. Night mgr able to move us to a different room upon entering original room w overpowering air freshener smell. Price was Fair for bed n shower for 2 people

Overpowering Air freshener aroma in room. Breakfast was mainy carbs, yet, it was something ..the only protein offered was room temp small yogurts. Although, yogurts were in a fridge that didn't seem like It was cooling appropriately. There was no "task" / lamp lighting or reading lights in room ..All lights were overhead and irritating. Small fridge in room, also "not keeping up" w cooling

I loved the cleanliness of the room, even though a random sock was found under the heater unit.

I didn’t like the fact that construction was going on and the person in the room next to me sounded like they were coming through those paper thin walls. Had I known they were remodeling, I wouldn’t have stayed there.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We drove 4 hours to evacuate from Hurricane Helene and were allowed to check in a few hours early with no additional fee. The hotel was in the process of being renovated. Our room was new looking and very very clean. Bed was comfortable and over 130 tv stations for the kiddo.

I like location, it was close to where I needed to be first thing in the morning.

Manager wasn’t very friendly. Called ahead asking for a late check out bc I had a meeting and needed to let my mom and daughter stay til 1 pm. Was told on the phone that would be ok, when u got there was just going to give us til noon or $25 per hour after. Needless to say I rushed back and out before noon. Front desk wasn’t even there to know that we checked out, had to leave the key in a box.

New renovations were great. Clean, comfy & very friendly staff. Breakfast was sufficient; nothing extravagant. Highly recommend Microtel

Super friendly and efficient staff. The room is not large, but it was very clean and comfortable during our stay. They've renovated the room, and it looks really nice now.

Their free breakfast includes toast, bagels, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and drinks. It would be better if they offered more protein options like boiled eggs.
