As the old saying goes, "You can't tell a book by its cover." That's certainly the case with this motel. When driving up to it, the place seemed like a thousand other drab motels. HOWEVER - starting with the check-in, we saw this was special. Beverly was incredibly friendly and informative! A nice start to the stay! When we got to our room, we noted the comfy rocking chairs with a table in front of our room; a perfect place to spend time reading, writing or checking out the iPad while enjoying a coffee or other hot or cold beverage. The room was very clean and spacious. Good amenities. Although the motel is a bit off the beaten path, it is convenient with regards to access to sites like the Montezuma National Monument and shopping (a shopping center's just a couple of km east). Nice town; very friendly.

This is not a complaint. It's just a note to folks interested in staying here. It is some distance away from Hwy. 17. The directions on Google map were a bit confusing. However, when I stopped at a convenience store to ask for directions, the folks in the store were incredibly helpful and as it turned out we were not far from the motel.

great location, clean, full kitchen (double burner plate & microwave-no stove) not fancy but that’s not what I was looking for. Camp Verde Suites had what we wanted & needed. VERY POSITIVE & RESPONSIVE STAFF-shout out to Beverly for everything (sorry I don’t know everyone’s name-all were kind & helpful)

just a bit too noisy 2nights-early am, but it didn’t last too long-were pretty tolerant-the revelries stopped after about 20 minutes without us intervening-so not a big deal

Suite was clean, cozy and the kitchen is bigger than my own! Manager (she was great and we shared our grilling meal with them as we had way too much) and front desk gal were so accommodating and courteous for our needs, both went out of their way for quality service. BBQ grills, horseshoes and just a chill vibe ...we will be back!

Door lock was not calibrated properly and it took 5 tries to open the door, but once we got the hang of it, it wasn't too hard to get in the suite.

This place was spotless! It is extremely well maintained and everything was well appointed. Little touches made it cozy and warm, almost like staying at a close cousins house. The price was reasonable and the beds were fabulous. We both slept like a log. The only one suggestion I have is that in this electronic day and age maybe some outlet extenders would be nice (the kind that makes one outlet into six). We were hard pressed to charge our electronics but we managed. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

No breakfast was provided. However, you got a 10% discount from several of the restaurants within walking distance. I really liked the downtown location. The sitting area outside each room was nice, especially since we had a friend staying there as well. There was also a large area with picnic tables. The room was clean and comfortable.

I paid extra for a dog. The dog potty area was on the side and back of the hotel. It is pitch dark on the side of the hotel at night. Could use some solar lights so you can at least see your feet and your dog. They do provide poop bags. There was some kind of mix up with my reservation with Booking.com. I reserved a double queen room and that’s what was on my reservation. However, the hotel showed me as having a King room. I was stuck with the King room since the Hotel was full. Had to ask for a refund for the difference in price since I had prepaid through Booking.com. It may have been Booking.com’s fault.

Very quiet! Beds were super comfortable. Shower was hot and great water pressure. The space was clean, well decorated, even fresh flowers growing on the patio. The eat in kitchen had just about everything you could need to stay a week or more. This was definitely the right place to recup after our daughter's Camp Verde wedding. The staff was cheerful and accommodating as well. Loved our stay!

The room was clean and comfortable. Comfy bed, good shower. The full kitchen with a suite was an unexpected plus. The manager was very helpful and friendly.

We got the last room available in the area, after driving all day into the evening ahead of a snowstorm. It was a bit pricey but we needed to take it. The TV was on the small side. The wi fi didn't work at first, but after the manager reset their box it worked great.

The hotel is located in a quiet town, opposite the hotel is the history museum of the town, the surrounding area is very safe and quiet。The room facilities are very warm, and free bottled water is also provided. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. The items in the washroom are cute and cozy。There is a national park near the hotel.

The excessive use of plastic for cup coverings, ice, sweetness etc and cups themselves appals me I’m aware that everyone seems ridiculously obsessed with germs (even precovid) despite being in a world where we really are over clean. But I don’t think pandering to this silly paranoia is appropriate given the real damage caused by plastic accumulation in land fill and in our oceans.

Friendly staff. Rooms were REALLY CLEAN, beds were comfortable and there's a steak house next door. There was even a wine bucket and wine glasses in the room. We travel ALOT and this place really exceeded my expectations.

Not much to do in the area. The town pretty much shuts down around 8pm. But...the bartender at the steak house next door did stay open late for our group and the musician stayed late as well.
