Hotel location and activities during end of the year were great. Room is very clean with new carpet. Concierge staff and service was great. Good options for dinner.

Game room was deteriored and missing games. Front desk staff could be happier and more customer friendly.

Loved the location because it is right outside of the Yosemite gate by the Mariposa grove. It's a little drive into town but there's still that option.

I did not enjoy the food at Jackelopes. We had 3 burgers and they were overpriced and sad when they got to us. They don't come with any of the fixings (lettuce,tomato, onion). My bacon mushroom burger had to little Half pieces of bacon and a few mushrooms in the middle of the bun under the patty. It was not worth it.

Room was nice, clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. I appreciated the possibility to store luggage at the front desk during the day. Free self-laundry (you have to pay only for detergent). Many extra services (ice ring, swimming pool, bonfire, snow shoes rental). Small grocery store right in the hallway.

Really loud heating. Not enough ceiling lights in the rooms, you have to turn on 4 table lamps.

Great staff. Nice amenities and fun activities such as snowshoeing and ice skating. Smores each night too!

Need lighting out at road entrance. Hard to see in the dark. Housekeeping should be standard and not require a call each night to request.

Almost everything. We used it as a base for yosemite, but we made sure we were always back with plenty of time to enjoy the facilities. Great location - about 1hr into yosemite village if you set off around 7am. Otherwise, it's about 1.5 hrs or longer. Pool is fantastic with a great bar. Laundry is also a really nice touch. Great vibe and buzz with the place, too. Rooms are an excellent size and really nice. Also, 20 mins from oakhurst if you fancy a change of scenery. The shop and deli were also well stocked with quality items. The breakfast buffet was good too, with nice options. We will be back (from the UK). Best part of our trip.

Only downside is the food options are a bit limited. It would be nice to have some healthier options.

Lovely resort with plentiful amenities on offering. We stayed here for 4 nights in early July. Our room was spacious and new. We were extremely happy with the room. Majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. Loads of parking on the premises which was nice. We had a spa treatment, spa was amazing. Overall extremely happy with this hotel.

- Apparently the law in California with alcohol requires staff to request ID from anyone under the age of 45 which we were unaware of. I appreciate this is a a California law and when we are in California we must respect the laws but it would have been nice to have been made aware of this as its a bit of a nuisance being rejected at the bar when we had left our ID in our room. My advice to the hotel would to make people aware of this at check in to avoid this bit of annoyance during the stay. Other than this the hotel exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we checked in, we received the best customer service from every single person we encountered - from the initial check in, the concierge, the host staff, bartenders and servers, the flashlight tour, the wine & smores staff, and the pizzeria. The Explorer Cottages is where we stayed and it was awesome! The layout of the property and cottages were excellent. Loved the firepits and visiting with other guests. My wife & I are in the customer service & hospitality business and have not received such excellent service in a very long time. Our original plan to celebrate our son's 16th bday at Universal Studios was changed due to the unfortunate fires happening. I booked our trip to Tenaya Lodge the day before we arrived. Thank you to all - we will definitely be back!

I believe the cottage description didn't include that a toaster and coffee maker were in the cottage, so we brought ours. If not updated, be sure to include all of the lovely amenities & things people should or should not bring - including the flashlights & lantern (which we brought, too)

We’d stayed here before and knew what the hotel was like but chose a different room option as we had a dog with us this time. It was well appointed, beds are comfortable and staff friendly

The rooms have paper cups only and it was quite challenging trying to get a kettle and proper crockery We had wanted to spend Christmas up at Tenaya and enticed by the offer of a special Christmas banquet on Christmas Day for lunch which was at price. The servers were all excellent and friendly but the room lacked atmosphere and despite being decorated just lacked any real cosy feel. Food was average. We had eaten at Jackalope the night before and think it would have been better for Xmas lunch as well.

Very cosy in November with open fires inside and out the swimming pool was warm and the jacuzzi was a fabulous massage on tired shoulders. The staff weee very accommodating and we loved toasting marsh mallows on the fire. Complimentary yoga was awesome too.

The walls are rather thin and as the bathrooms back o. To one another you can hear every word - if it was at all possible having families in the same room area and couples/non children in another may be helpful - we were kept awake from 5am with children running next door and upstairs - we love you children but on vacation we want to be able to sleep in which is a real treat.

Helpful and friendly staff. The complimentary S’mores making was wonderful on a chilly night by the fire. Comfortable room with a balcony. The restaurant was great too.
