The parking lot was very big so there was no problem with parking with our car. The rooms were very comfy also the bathroom. On our room there was a fridge which was a big plus and we also had a sink even in our room for water, which was another big plus. The TV was big and quality. The view from the room was very nice on a parking lot with a palm. The breakfast was delicious. We ate so much of it, just perfect for a boost of an energy. The location was great also, near to everything we wanted, mainly the OC and Newport Beach. The price was affordable and if we would have the chance to be here again, we would love to stay here again! :)

Location was great if you need an airport shuttle; other than that there's not much around. Room was quiet and clean. Bed super comfortable but the comforter was a little lightweight. Lots of TV channels to choose from which was great because there's not much to do around there...other than wait. The gal who took me to the airport was friendly...she didn't make me wait until the time I'd requested because I was all ready to go almost half an hour early. That flexibility was much appreciated and above and beyond the call of duty.

Bathroom had an odd smell at first but either it dissipated or I stopped noticing it. Nothing terrible, just noticeable. There isn't a restaurant nearby...except at the Hilton which seemed too far to walk once I'd landed after a full day of activity.

The service in the dining room is terrible. Despite having plenty of staff, every missing item needs to be pointed out. They won’t restock on their own, and when they do, it’s ridiculous. For example, if yogurt runs out, you ask, and they add only four containers. The food runs out early, and there isn’t enough supply. Everything else was great except for breakfast.

ORANGE JUICE WAS GOOD AND COFFEE WAS GOOD. LOCATION WAS GREAT. ROOM WAS TERRIFIC.

BACON WAS EXTRA GREASY AND DIDN'T TASTE LIKE BACON.!! THE OATMEAL WAS SOUPY. TOO MUCH WATER SITTING ON TOP. THAT'S ALL I HAD. $28 FOR PARKING IS OUTRAGEOUS! I USED TO FLY 3-5 DAYS PER WEEK FOR MY WORK. STAYED IN DOZENS OF HAMPTON INNS ACROSS THE COUNTRY IN MAJOR METROPOLITAN CITIES AT THE AIRPORT. NONE OF THEM CHARGED FOR PARKING!! THE ONLY HAMPTON INN I AM AWARE OF THAT CHARGES FOR PARKING IS YOUR FACILITY AT JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT ON DUPONT DRIVE!

I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The location was very close to the airport which was nice. I didnt get to explore the hotel as much but I enjoyed the interior design. My room was clean and spacious. I appreciate the mini market with snacks and refreshments. Expanding that area would be nice.

I didn't like that the pick up from the airport shuttle service didn't have a schedule. I called for a pick up and I sat waiting in the shuttle area for 45 minutes. I end up taking a taxi wasting time and money.

Good location, clean, updated, and well run place. Good work out gym too. Breakfast is decent but still prefer some healthier breakfast options. And don’t like they charge for parking staying at their hotel. It should be free. Otherwise great stay.

Charge for parking which should not be charging for this area and need some healthier options for breakfast like quality organic breads, chicken sausage etc would be nice.

Nice hotel and very convenient for the airport as you could walk there if you wanted to. Nice sized room which was clean and comfortable, and you can choose how often its serviced. The staff on the whole were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was of a decent standard and enough choice. A nice but small swimming pool.

If you haven't got a car there is nothing to do around there and the public transport is poor. The breakfast didn't replenish items quickly enough and one member of the reception staff was unhelpful.

The breakfast was great! The size of the rooms was surprising and fit us comfortably. There was a large bathroom in the first room and both were handicap accessible. The location was central to every place that we needed to visit. The air conditioning was awesome.

The pool was a postage stamp and very disappointing and there was no jacuzzi. The couch pullout mattress was not even remotely comfortable. We had to pay for parking after having to pay a large amount for 2 rooms.

We enjoyed the convenience of staying near the airport, having the shuttle, a microwave, additional sink and coffeemaker in the room. The complimentary breakfast was a plus and we were pleasantly surprised to have a welcome snack and drink upon arrival! All staff were friendly and helpful!

The room was a bit dark.

Everything except the rude person at the front desk. He should not be working there if he hates it so much.

My reservation was for the (King Room with Sofa Bed) 448 feet. I was given a tiny room! I mentioned to the front desk and showed him my room confirmation. He was very RUDE, then told me if I booked with them I would have gotten the room instead of booking.com... This is the second time I've booked at this exact location with a confirmation of the king with sofa and was given the smallest room! If it happens again in June, I'll be calling the CEO personally about this issue of being treated like this with the rude front desk!
