Location, location, location! Right on the beach and above a lovely restaurant. We were greeting at the reception desk with a smile and were upgraded to a beach view room! The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. We didn't end up using the kitchen because there are so many restaurants and food spots within walking distance. Amenities were great, and definitely worth the cost.

We weren't able to open the window, but I suspect because there wasn't a screen. Would have been a bonus to hear the ocean and the eclectic people on the boardwalk, but not a big deal because the view was still great!

Spacious room in the perfect location. 100s of channels on the TV, nice kitchenette with all you need to self cater. The bed was comfy with heaps of pillows. Bathroom was a little dated but clean and a good size with plenty of room for your things. The staff were fantastic and helped with the luggage - there's no lift so you will need to go up 1 or 2 flights of stairs depending on which room you get. I was upgraded to a beach view room that was beautiful. I know I will be staying here next time I'm in LA / Venice

The shower pressure wasn't great and the shower head wasn't the best - but only a very minor point.

Our room was very quite. We also had a kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, so was great to prepare our own meals. Very private. Our room has no ocean view, however, it was quite, which I had requested. Oscar, at reception was very helpful too.

As mentioned no ocean view, but I didn’t request that. Initially we had an issue with the hot water not working & intermittent wifi. Oscar was quick to rectify these issues and even organised a refund for the inconvenience.

The location is awesome. There is a restaurant below which was so convenient and also very quiet when I was in the room. It was beyond clean and had all I needed, frig, microwave, nice bedding large bathroom. The view out the window to the ocean was really great. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We walked to Santa Monica Pier (about 2 miles) and rode in a bicycle taxi back to the room. There was lots to see and do right at your doorstep.

Overnight parking is not the easiest to find. We went to the day parking next door and they explained they closed at 9. I asked if we could pay them extra to keep the vehicle overnight and they obliged. It is worth asking so if at first they say day only, ask for overnight for an extra charge. Parking is the only part that had me concerned but we were able to work it out.

I had booked this accomodation last minute as our original accomodation cancelled on us the day we were arriving in LA. My son and I agreed that Su Casa was probably better then the other accomodation that had cancelled on us. Staff were very friendly upon arrival and through our stay. We loved the view and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location was great for us as well. We loved the beach view from our room and enjoyed watching the sunsets.

Location, location, location. We had a Queen Studio overlooking the beach and boardwalk. The view was spectacular. This hotel is tiny with a small reception staffed by friendly people. It is close to everything. Parking is available in a parking lot at $45/night and the parking lot is right next to the hotel. Downstairs is a fabulous restaurant called Fig Tree with great breakfasts, lunch and dinner. (Making a booking is a good idea , because the place is always busy). The room was spacious and clean, with a kitchen and a nice living room.

The towels could use an update.

Beachfront property with amazing views. The room was large, bright and airy - and clean. Well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. I had a corner unit with so many windows! Being right on the beach I could enjoy the sea views and the waterfront vibe from the apartment. Every day someone was playing cool jazz under the window - it was magic! The bed was very comfy. Would definitely stay again. Easy walk to Abbott-Kinney Blvd - full of shops and cafes.

There is no lift - but the staff helped carry my bags up.

The property is right in front of the sea, it has a really good location with everything you need right there. There’s a really nice restaurant/cafe on the ground floor as well (disconnected from the hotel) most of the staff is very lovely and always ready to help.

The WiFi is very patchy and seldomly works. I went to talk to the lady at the counter about it and I was told “this is what we have” which was not very nice. I was also told my room specifically had WiFi issues (room 2) so I guess if you need WiFi don’t stay in room 2?

I loved the place, the location and the friendly staff both in the morning with Oscar and in the evening with the lovely lady with a French accent who could not have been more helpful even printing my boarding pass and receipt late at night. The place shows attention to detail, it is cozy and the room I had even without the sea view was set up and decorated with taste and practical simplicity. It felt like home with extra Eiderdown and impecably clean. Also it is in the same space, terrace and porch of the Fig Tree where you can eat delicious food, coffer and bites at all times sin early breakfast. A total plus. I will go back next time like a rocket.

I liked everything.

Excellent Location, right by Venice beach with even a little view of the beach from the balcony. Decently sized apartment with a kitchen, sitting area, bedroom and a big balcony. Helpful staff, decent value.

No parking provided by the property, though they did guide us to one very close by which had $30/night parking. Could be little loud at night as it's right next to the Venice boardwalk.
