Great location, walkable to the Wharf, room was clean and bed comfortable, shower good. Reception was closed but manager was inside the back so we were able to get in. We overslept and had to rush out so apologies to housekeeping as we didn't empty trash or tidy like we normally would have. Car parking was enough with some outside the rooms and some off to the side of the hotel, we had ground floor so no view, but we slept ok. Room had a microwave and 5 min drive away there is a big retail park with food options so we brought back some food and heated it up.

Erm nothing really bad, was easy to find and had ample parking.

The location was exceptional. This location seems to be owned by a family, and they were all wonderful. They provided extra towels and made sure to meet any need I had. This isn't a major hotel chain, and I love supporting small businesses. During my stay I witnessed them doing maintenance and keeping up with the property. You can tell some recent renovations have been done, and its awesome they are pet friendly even though we did not bring one. The parking lot filled up at night and honestly didn't hear anything from any neighbors and we were on the ground floor. The bed was comfortable, shower pressure great, loved that you could connect to the smart TV, nice sized miniature fridge, full sized ironing board and nice wardrobe space. Would have liked more hangers for longer stays. Its a great location to get around in and parking was always available. If you go in with realistic expectations you'll be happy here. Its super cute and minimalistic. The room had bumps and bruises but that's expected from people traveling, it doesn't bother me but some people are...Karen's and have weird expectations. Overall, had an amazing experience and would stay here again in a heart beat if we travel back.

These are super minor, but there is a major pothole when exiting the facility. It would be a pricey fix, its easy to avoid but just have to watch for it at night. I wish there was more storage/shelving in the bathroom and in the shower for personal items. The bathroom vent probably needs replaced or deep cleaned. I wish the lights had a dimmer/more warm lighting. We usually just used the television for light. Coffee was available, just in a weird spot/no plug near it? So we didn't use it. The room itself was not what was in the photos. We didn't have a room with the wood backsplash, nor lamps, the floor was hard which I liked, but the bed was metal and we HATED IT. Whenever we hit/accidently kicked or touched it with our foot it made awfully loud sounds.

The employer was very pleasant and welcoming. The room was clean and nice. We called for more service of coffee and it was delivered right away. The gentleman was very nice. The cost on-line was a great price so I was worried of the safety and condition of the inn. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with my stay and would use the inn again.

There was a stain on the bed sheet.

Location was perfect, I attended a music festival for my trip and the location of the room was perfect for getting to and from the festival as well as visiting the downtown area. No more than 10m minutes for either desire

The sound was my only complaint. The walls were thin and I could hear my neighbors but the doors were the biggest concern. Hinges squeaked and when it came to closing the doors they were quite loud

Location was ideal for us to visit the harbour and downtown area. We were checked in very quickly by a friendly staff member and when we asked to change room (due to barking dog in the room next door) it was dealt with quickly and efficiently and with understanding of the reason for our request.

It’s relatively basic but exactly what we expected and paid for.

Everything was perfect!!! The price was very good and we booked the same day. The room was clean, everything was so quiet and is just 20 min walk from the Fisherman Wharf! The staff were nice too and there is free parking! Nothing to complain … and it was our first experience in an American Motel! 🏨

The cleaning solution used on the room was very pungent. I had to air out the room for a couple hours on a chilly day before it wasn't an issue. I suggest they use a different cleaning solution, perhaps Simple Green, which is non toxic. Also, I left a Playmate cooler which I've owned for a good 40 years and when I asked the clerk at the office if he could package it up and send it to me -- at my cost -- he stated he could not "leave the office" and send anything. I'm deciding whether to just wrote it off as a loss or ask for a higher authority at the hotel to deal with it.

Very nicely updated, beautiful bathrooms. Unfortunately the key cards did continuously stop working. You also really really need to slam your door closed or it will fly open. However the staff was very helpful and accommodating to everythinf we needed and they accept dogs! Great location as well! Would stay again

It was better than what I expected, the room was clean and modern, the TV worked great. The bathroom and shower were very nice as well. It is located close to old Monterrey, a bit outside of the wharf, but still in a good location - 5 minutes drive to the city center.

Great location as walking distance to the centre of Monterey. Hotel was clean, cosy & the showers were hot. Great value for money!

Perhaps a lamp would be of benefit to the room.
