Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and decently priced.

I was charged for two rooms. I cancelled late (about 15minutes after the cutoff time due to car trouble), then was able to get a AWD rental. Called back about fifteen minutes later to reschedule another room. Spoke with Best Western staff who said that the room was already rented out, so had to rent a different room (ultimately at a price of $300+ for the night. Needless to say, I didn’t expect to get a full refund, but definitely hoped for a bit of mercy. Merry Christmas to you, too, Best Western Plus Tree House in Shasta.

The staff were amazing, specially Nancy, the waitress at the breakfast restaurant. The pool and hot tube were very good, clean and with towels. The gym was very well equipped and clean. Rooms are clean, little old, but I think it’s the style of a country hotel. Location was amazing, with a beautiful view of Mount Shasta! Very close to Shasta City and to other attractions near Shasta. We loved staying here! Extra: my son forgot his watch. They found it and offered to send by mail!!

Great place to stay in Mt Shasta. Passing through on a road trip, stayed for 1 night. Excellent location. Close to everything (coffee shops, restaurants, town), but did not need to leave the property as they have a very nice bar/lounge and restaurant on site. I ended up enjoying a very good dinner and breakfast the next morning. Rooms were very large, comfortable and clean (got a very good night's sleep). Staff was amazing - very professional, hospitable and attentive. Made sure that I had everything that I needed. I was traveling solo and felt very safe, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay there again.

I would love it if they stocked liquid creamer in the room (with the coffee maker) instead of powdered creamer.

we missed happy hour so we paid quite a bit more for our meal which was fair, we had great service. Breakfast was just ok. this isn't a knock but there was only one waitress and she was working her tail off, so if you are in a hurry I would suggest going somewhere else but the service was great just took a while.

everything was fine with the exception of the last night. there were a few drunks that were in the room next to us and they were yelling at each other. one even saying they would kill the other person if they would "do that again.." made my wife uncomfortable.

Location is excellent. Rooms clean and staff wonderful and helpful. Meals wide choice and tasty.i got the 1st floor which was very great to get in and out. Parking just in front of your room. Noticed so many EV chargers and different types. Gym was well equipped and the pool and hot tub a warm welcome after all the hiking. Its so nice to be able to walk right out and take in the majestic view of Mt Shasta…

Strangely as we travel north noticed that none of the hotel rooms have a safe…?

Views of Mt. Shasta were amazing from our hotel balcony! Room was large and bathroom had 2 sinks. Easy to walk to town for dinner and shopping. Easy access to the I5 and gas station. Quality of the breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Location was also close to the road to access Gumboot Lake! Loved the cabin/lodge feel to the main part of the hotel.

Property backs up to the I5, but there was an enclosed hallway so none of the rooms faced it - there was a buffer. Our pre-paid upgrade on Booking.com was not communicated to the hotel, so we had to prove it to get our room. Amazing view of Mt Shasta also overlooked the rooftop of the hotel. Restaurant staff severely understaffed. We had to wait to be seated and it was a long wait for our food - but the food was delicious! Seemed rather high priced.

We stayed one night here traveling back to Portland from phoenix. Property was beautiful for a best western with views of the mountain. Room was clean and spacious with a nice patio. Dog friendly. Heated indoor pool. All the employees I interacted with were pleasant and actually seemed like they enjoyed their job. This will be our go to spot from now on when traveling through Shasta.

The staff was kind and quickly responsive. The room was clean and comfortable. Easy to access from the parking lot. Safe environment. Great location, including access to the ski resort.

One of the biggest factors we chose this hotel was the indoor swimming pool. My kids were looking forward to it mainly. The hot bathtub was really nice. However, the temperature of the main swimming pool was not as warm as expected. My kids still enjoyed it. But not very comfortable for adults, at least for me.

Property/room was very clean. Good location. Indoor pool and spa were larger than expected. Bar/restaurant were a convenient option.

Room looked a little dated, bottom of indoor pool appeared to have discoloration, no vouchers for bar/restaurant despite lots of nearby local options.

The location is superb! Literally right next to Mt Shasta, you can see them mountain from your room. The reception staff were great and helpful for all my tourist questions.

Ate at the hotel restaurant (largely because i arrived late and everything was shutting for the night). Ordered the mixed fried shrimp and fish with chips, really wish I hadnt. Sorry, but must rate as the worst meal ive had in years. (Batter was thick and chewy, fries were frozen and probably the fried fish and shrimp was as well...sorry but not good). Luckily the Black Bear Diner is literally just round the corner which is what I would recommend to people.
