The location is wonderful! Just a couple blocks away from the beach trail & a 4min drive to the downtown area. The grounds are well kept, our cottage was very clean, & the windows were open when we arrived, leaving the space aired out & fresh. Loooooved the fireplace! So cozy...

The room had some easily repairable cosmetic damage to the walls & tile, making it look a bit dingy. The vending machine is empty...not sure why it's still out if not in use. There are snacks located in the office, but the clerk had no cash for change. All concerns are easily fixed, & won't stop me from returning.

The place is the style of an old-fashioned motor court, on a corner lot, two blocks from the ocean. It's a bit rustic, yet very comfortable, both outside surroundings and in the room. I had a fantastic sleep, woke early, and wandered down to visit the tide pools. Light breakfast is offered in the reception office, but the room had a kitchenette with fridge and microwave, so I ate in my room.

I travelled alone, so there was enough space for my things. If I had been with someone else, I probably would have found it crowded, as the closet is small. Also, there were no cutlery, glasses or dishes in the kitchenette.

It is very nice area and close to the beach. The hotel was a very cute cottages and clean. There were deer out front. A lot of good site seeing around the area and great restaurants. I would stay here again.

I would have preferred a ground floor room because I was traveling with my 92 year old father, husband and a dog, for me to have to climb the stairs at 68 years old and my husband was 70 years old, climbing these stairs with luggages and a dog was not good. I had to take him out for bathroom breaks and going up and down those stairs at our age. My 92 year old father had to take the ground floor level for his age.

I didn't have a lot of expectations for Continental breakfast but was pleasantly surprised to find hard boiled eggs and there was ample variety of fruit (though the bananas weren't ripe, and some of the oranges, apples,pears were bruised). Didn't touch the sweet muffins or cereal, as I brought my own top quality, and own yogurt. Staff was nice, room was very comfortable, spacious and lots of lights, comfy bed. And loved closeby, easy access to the coastal trail.

Parking wasn't assigned, and the closest spots were taken (or were designated for electric recharge, but noticed cars parked there, and I would have too but my car isn't electric so honored that).

The motel is about 2 blocks from the beach. The room was very quiet. It had everything you needed. We had our bikes and rode the coast line. Our room was very spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette. We had a separate bedroom. The grounds were very cute. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was kind of expanded grab and go.

For the price it’s a great deal. The couch was not comfortable but it was new and clean. Furniture was pretty low end but new and functional.

We have stayed here for years and years and keep coming back. The place is perfect for families, quiet, comfy, and walking distance to the ocean and Asilomar Beach. I recommend this spot to anyone coming to the area and already can’t wait to return. The value is outstanding for a pricy area.

The bedding is funny, pink butterflies 😂 but comfy which is what matters.

Amazing location overlooking Mono Lake. Very pleasant facility, with convenient free parking and beautiful gardening. Lots of places to sit in the garden, and a great little café on the property that serves light meals. 5-minutes drive from the Mono Lake information center. It definitely looks like the nicest hotel in town.

We liked everything. It took us some time to understand how the faucet in the shower works but that was a minor issue. Also, bear in mind that some of the rooms are on the top level and there is no elevator. We had to carry our heavy bags up the stairs. We were disappointed not to have seen bears on the property (given the warnings on the trash cans)...

This is our go to place when visiting friends in PG. It is dog friendly ---- really dog friendly --- in both the ground and the rooms. Water is hot and immediate. Location is superb. An eclectic array of breakfast food, including a superb yogurt. And, of course, just down the road from The Fish Wife. I fear raving about it may make it harder to get a reservation so I will say nothing more.

Lighting! More lamps, Better ligthing overall. And the rooms are too spartan. An extra easy chair and light and some small inexpensive touches would make this place over the top.

The location was fabulous; you could hear the ocean waves at night. It was so close and walkable to to the ocean and to the Asilomar State Beach. It was close to downtown Pacific Grove; great places to dine and shop there. It had plenty of grassy areas for our dog; had a small dog park too. It did have a small continental breakfast.

We had a standard king room and not one of the bigger “cottages” so the room was kind of small, but was just fine for us to use as a staging area for our little side trips to see family and enjoy ocean side living.
