Spacious, clean room. Loved the bedside charging strips for easy phone charging and the full length mirror. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. Plenty of coffee pods. Toffee a nice touch. Loved that the pool was plenty warm for those chilly evenings. Liked the fire pit and purified water. Didn’t get a chance to use the bikes but nice to have them available. Plenty of seating around the pool with sun or shade and pool towels. The location is perfect! Close enough to walk anywhere in town for dinner or drinks but very quiet. Lovely Mountain View from the property, including the Frey house. Easy parking onsite or street parking available.

Not much to improve on but if I’m being picky, the bed was too firm for my taste. Felt like we had to keep our drapes closed all the time for privacy, but I guess that’s the nature of a property that surrounds the pool in that way. There was a strong smell of cleaner or something when we’d walk in. We had a cute patio in the back, but it turned out to be part of the housekeepers’ path to the rooms so no privacy there either. All in all a great stay for the price and I’d stay again.

This is a sweet spot on peaceful Patencio Road in the heart of Palm Springs, walkable to many shops and some of the best restaurants in town. We loved the dining at FARM which is a short walk from Old Ranch Inn and we also picked up groceries, which was only a 10 min walk as well. The inn is anchored at the foot of the mountains, nestled amongst a several blocks of the most intriguing properties, historic inns, and stunning homes. The owners were disarmingly charming and kind. Everyone we encountered of the staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful. Our room was perfect. We loved the mountain view, having a small kitchen with a pool view, and the extra space of a suite. Check-in was seamless, easy, and contactless. This was honestly the easiest check-in experience I have ever had. The hotel made our room available early and made every accommodation for our comfort. Upon entering into the King suite # 1, an old Thin Man movie was playing silently, the room was immaculately clean and was subtly decorated with festive holiday season touches, which we loved. Really hope to stay here again!

The check-in was mostly by phone so when my plane landed, I knew how to access my room. The text exchanges worked for me and were prompt. The staff were pleasant (even when a neighbor burned popcorn in their room and set off all the fire alarms), it was an easy walk to the main street of Palm Springs and the owners allowed us to store our luggage until later in the evening which improved our plans greatly. I enjoyed the available coffee and having a fridge/microwave.

Very little - the mattress seemed to have some crevices where bodies lay (lol!) but other than that, great!

It was very clean, very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful setting with San Jacinto mountains in the background. Pool heated to 80 degrees. Fire pit. Everything we needed in kitchenette. Bed was super comfy. Clean linens and fluffy towels. Carpet felt new. It was perfect. Everything we wanted for a quick getaway. Close to shops and restaurants, easy walking to everything. Owners quick to respond w/anything we needed. A real gem.

The pictures matched reality. Everything felt cozy and inviting. The lemonade cans in the fridge were a nice touch. The bedding and furniture felt luxurious and not old or dated.

I wish there was more parking. Sadly, a “free” spot next to the disabled parking spot was inaccessible because of a pole on the edge of the parking area and how the other car had parked. Parked on the street, but only to find my car boxed in the next morning.

Parking right out front of the hotel! Safe location with no security issues. Easy walking distance to the main area of town, plenty of restaurants and places to get a refreshing beverage. Pool area was safe, secure and private.

Had to Google how to use the Keurig coffee maker! :) Light switches were a bit of an adventure to find, but otherwise a great stay! Sidewalks and lighting could be better, bring a small flashlight for nighttime excursions! I would most definitely come back!

We loved our stay at Old Ranch Inn. The property is cozy and intimate. We appreciated the ability to do a late self check-in; the a/c was ready for us when we arrived (which was essential under an Excessive Heat Warning), as were black and white movies playing silently on the TV, which lent a magical touch perfectly fitting of Palm Springs. The room was spotless, and the bedding was divine. We enjoyed the kitchenette and the little private patio, which would be perfect for guests with dogs as this is a pet-friendly hotel. There was a minor issue with condensation from the a/c wetting the carpet, but Jason and Troy came over right away to investigate the issue, and had a contractor ready immediately the next morning (on a holiday) to fix the problem.

No complaints! We would stay again.

Location great with only a short walk to the main street with restaurants and shops, plenty of parking too nearby if no space outside the hotel. Exceeded our expectations, the kitchenette had everything required, bed was comfy, breakfast and coffee was nice on the private gated area which was quiet. Check in was very easy, received a code for the entrance and the room # in advance and could go straight there. Bonus points for there being pool floats available to use and sunscreen if you either forgot to pack it or ran out. We actually changed our plans and stayed an extra night because it was so relaxing here. Would stay again on a future trip.

We had a great time at the Old Ranch Inn. While the facility is older it is very well maintained. Location is so close to downtown Palm Springs. Spacious room. Easy to get to your car and free parking!

Since the property is older, there is no fan in the bathroom of room 6. Also, the fridge in the room also is louder and you can hear it in the middle of the night.

The whole property, albeit small, was absolutely immaculate. The room was so comfortable and felt kinda like being in your own bedroom. There was a small kitchenette with Starbucks K-cup, sink, fridge, and microwave. It was quaint and relaxing and close to the maim street where all the restaurants are. If you are looking for a nice quiet getaway, this is the place for you. I believe there are 8 rooms total. All king suites with a small private patio. Check in and out was a breeze. Owner was kind. We also brought our dog with us for a small fee.

Everything was perfect! Nothing to complain about.
