The room was clean. It was myself and 13 yr old grandson. We were both shocked by the comfort of the beds, although there was only 1 pillow for each queen bed. Water was instantly hot in the shower. Multiple tv channels. There were elevators and we were on the 3rd floor. That was a great relief as I have a disability. Parking was easy. The location was a mile from the Convention Center (our intended location) and a mile from the casino Agua Caliente. Walking distance to downtown with many restaurants and stores. It was a basic room which was all we needed for one night. There was a small refigerator.

There was a dripping noise in the ceiling and we could not figure out where it was coming from. Didn't complain to staff because we already new the motel was sold out. There was no microwave in the room.

+ The location is absolutely fantastic; I'd clocked the Motel 6 on previous visits as a more central place to stay than the resort hotels, so I'm glad I finally got to stay here. I really, really liked being only about a 10-minute walk south of the downtown district. + The price was quite reasonable compared to other Palm Springs hotels; I booked the Motel 6 for $98/night and ended up paying about $68/night after receiving rebate credits through Booking.com's lowest-price guarantee (which was a very nice surprise). + The room was much more spacious than I was expecting, with a cheery bright-orange wall, and a very comfy workstation / breakfast nook with table by the bed. + I really appreciated having outlets right by the bed and by the table, for keeping phones and laptops charged. + Nice big TV with a little shelf underneath, which was a nice touch. + The room sink had a ton of shelf space, which was really helpful, and the bathroom shower/tub was spacious. + Loved the proximity of nearby food options: a 24-hour Castañeda's is only a 6-minute walk north, and practically next to the hotel is a Jack in the Box and (just down E Sunny Dunes Road) a bakery-café. + For my purposes, it was also really convenient to have a #1 bus stop just across the road. + Despite being right by a main road, and by the lobby, I didn't find the room to be noisy at all.

- I understand from locals that the Motel 6 has a *very* poor reputation, but that wasn't my experience at all, though it might have helped that my room (101) was adjacent to the hotel lobby. - The only slight issue I had was with getting the heat to turn on; the room never got cold, but I had a hard time getting it comfortably toasty, too. - No fridge or microwave, alas.

It's like when there's a big thing in Palm Springs they always jack up the price is real high so it's hard for me to pay for it like Coachella is coming up oh my God I don't even want to know what the price is going to be for that week it's called gouging they need to stop doing that

What could be better if you stop making the prices so damn High every weekend you know there's people that have no houses and they live in hotels to get by and when you do that and you start jacking up prices people can't live in those damn things because of too much money and they got to go back to the streets

I was looking for a budget place to stay after a flight from Alaska this worked out perfect, coffee pots, but I had not expected any. It should also be noted as an animal friendly place though I didn’t bring an animal.

You could have done a lot of things to make it better, but the problem is that would have made it more expensive, I have to say it all my needs and it met all my expectations

It was quiet

I got a maintenance guy knocking on my door saying that I had called for them to fix the sink, but I did not request such thing and I had to open the door for him to hear because he was not listening. I was in the shower when he began to knock but it was so insistent that I really though he was going to open the door whit his keys or something.

Near restaurants

1. They almost gave us a room with 2 separate beds saying that i called last February 14 to change the room, asked them what phone number that was used and they can't give me the information 2. They eventually gave us our reserved room, at the 3rd floor and the elevator is broken, the whole time we stayed. 3. The queen size bed doesn't look like a queen size and it's not comfortable i can almost feel the metal springs

All the staff is nice and caring the girl who works nights like after 12 am i think her name is Anna is a sweatheart she is very mature and kind . And so not fake she really cares about the hotel guests and i give her 5 stars !!

just to know if their is going to be a microwave ...fridge etc Anyway I even payed 15 dollars to get a microwave and they never brought it up to me for real .......

Exactly what you would hope for in a budget motel - relatively quiet, well maintained, nice staff, amenities like pool, laundry and snack machines. Being within a 10 minute walk from downtown was the motel's main feature for me. If a comfortable resting place without the frills is for you, you won't be disappointed here.

Not the most comfortable bed in the world, but then I wasn't expecting too much given the room rate, so all good there. An extra blanket left in the room would have been nice, and a microwave and/or fridge in the room even better. Still, minor inconveniences at best.

Conveniently located, most of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Needs to learn about Ada dogs laws and have a better attitude with guests. None of the poop stations have bags to pick up after dogs. Wish they had security here to deal with the homeless people that sim to occupy the pole late at night.
