We reserved a 2-bedroom suite. The floor plan fits our need. The hotel is quiet. Front desk staff is super nice and friendly. I also like the location of the hotel. It’s not far from Torrey Pines, La Jolla, and Escondido. It stays away from crowds but also in the middle of everywhere.

Breakfast. Not many food options.

Staff was very professional and helpful.

There was no drinking water in the room.

Loved the room and the kitchenette. Seemed more like a studio. Large bathroom. Great breakfast. There are lots of options to choose from. Pancakes, eggs, bagels, yogurt, cold cereal, sausgae, juices, and so much more. The location was great. Lots of restaurants near by that are within walking distance.

The pool area was dirty. Looks like at one point in time, they had a ping pong table and corn hole area with a basketball court. But none looked safe to use. So kids briefly swam, but we weren't comfortable sitting out with all the trash left by others.

it's located in a convenient place and plaza, and close to shopping stores. only 25min driving to all famous places in San Diego including Lego land, Safari Zoo, Seaworld and downtown San Diego.

Their housekeeping policy is once every 7 days. We stayed there for 6 days and requested housekeeping twice, but they never showed up. As a result, we had to go to the front desk to get new towels ourselves.

The staff was very nice and helpful, when we showed up to the wrong hotel (my mistake with Google maps), they called the other to let them know we were coming. Clean room, good location with lots of stuff in walking distance.

The only problem I had was with this website because the hotel didn't get my payment for some reason so they charged me twice, which was eventually solved but caused a lot of stress. It might have been an issue with the hotel computers, I'm not sure.

The room was very comfortable and clean but the staff was AMAZING. We just stayed at the Disneyland hotel where the customer is awesome but Sonesta staff outshined them. We were there for a soccer tournament and staff asked about the games, wished us luck, made sure we had ice, etc. I will definitely stay again.

Some areas outside our room needing some patching and I didn't like the $10 a day parking. I don't think you should have to pay for parking.

The location is 20 minutes from the downtown, but the surrounding area is full of grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and parks. The pool is especially great. The breakfast is also awesome. A great place to save money (relative to hotels in downtown) and relax. Adjacent to town houses, so looks like a very safe place.

Breakfast was not great. The bread products were stale except the pancakes that were freshly made during breakfast. Omelets were rubbery & tasteless. Kitchen served same food every morning, no variety. There was a kitchen staff who stood by the door the whole time watching everyone like a wicked stepmom…..very uncomfortable!!

Breakfast, wasn’t told there would be no housekeeping during our entire stay - 4 nights!

Staff all very friendly and helpful. Facilities excellent and the property is in a fantastic location.

Our room was not cleaned on the day booked for a full clean. A solution was found to our satisfaction which was to bring in a cleaner the next day specifically to do the job. The kitchen did not have an electric jug to boil water. We used a saucepan instead. It wasn't a major inconvenience as we didn't bother asking reception for an electric jug. I'm sure one would have been provided had we asked. We need it only to make tea in the mornings. There was a terrible sulphur/gas smell in the evenings from the surrounding gardens on our side of the building. It started a few days after our arrival and we often returned to our accommodation in the late evenings. The smell was not noticeable once inside so it was just unpleasant to walk from the elevator to our room is all.

We liked its convenient location: main shops were close by, gasoline station just in front of the hotel and many eating options as well!

Perhaps the cleaning may be better, it’s just didn’t feel clean and neat.
