Perfect location, nice functional hotel, clean with comfy beds but no luxory. positive impression, especially after reading some of the negative comments by other guest. You will not find a completely sound proof room in the center of a big town - so earplugs could do for the sensitive - or a visit to the country side. Also plenty of excellent Italian and Chinese restaurants very close to the hotel. You are in San Fransisco, USA so less fortunate people can’t be avoided in a centric location. I did not find the few homeless people around problematic (sad though) but did not stay out after 10pm. Hotel has huge TV screen in common room for guests and an OK restaurant. Perfect location and great value for the price.

Note that restauants close early in the US compared to Europe, dining out seems to be 6-8pm. Extravagant ones open till 10 😅but that is an exception. Writing this as I saw several comments saying that there are no restaurants in the area, which is completely wrong. Plenty of dinner places but they close early.

The room is spacious and the bed is so comfortable.

The Bathroom needs some enhancement

Very clean, great view, staff friendly enough, no surprise charges, refrigerator in room, good temperature controls, comfortable beds and great pillows. So many delicious Asian food options, playground right across the street, close to Chinatown, walkable to many locations, able to order Amazon fresh delivery.

Ridiculously high vending machine prices. Limited food choices nearby, especially for picky eaters. A longer walk to shoreline attractions. No microwave in room.

The room and bed was plenty comfortable for price point in San Francisco. Location was perfect since this was a business trip and I needed to be in the financial district. It was still close enough to some sights and sounds of SF so it's still convenient.

As expected for parking in a major city, it is very expensive for overnight parking. However, the price is about market price for the area.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring San Francisco. It is close to a BART station for airport transport & 15 mons walk from the Ferry Building. There are also bus stops close by with buses that get you Fishermans Wharf. The room was great size with with a very comfortable bed.

A small fridge in the room would of been nice. I also went for the King Room with Bay View option & the view I had was very disappointing as I was basically looking at the Chinatown North Beach Campus Building. On that basis it wasn't worth the extra so I would be wary about booking a 'Bay View' room.

We had an issue with our fridge not being cold. Front desk had someone semt up quickly and resolved the issue. Room was great with the view and bed was comfty.

I did have trouble with the elevator. I was not told to scan my card before choosing my room floor so we went all the way up and down a couple times as the elevator skipped our floor. Wish the front desk explained that to us being it was our first time there.

Great location to food and attractions, and they were helpful in helping us access all forms of transportation. The view from my window was breathtaking. I felt very welcomed. Staff was great, very helpful, and super accommodating, even at check out. The bell hop was Awesome!

Parking at hotel was more expensive nighty than the public parking.

Great location for San Francisco, short & flat walk to all the main attractions

We were given an accessible room so the door opened out onto the lobby and the shower was halfway down the wall so you had to bend down to shower. While I understand the need for these room types, it was not suitable for us. We also made amendments to our booking and reduced our stay about a month before travelling through booking.com. The hotel did not reflect those changes and the hotel attempted to charge us for an extra night. I had to prove I had made the changes and had confirmation of this.

The view was amazing and the bed was so comfortable!

The wait time for elevators to get out. We were on top floor and left during check out go so that’s on us. The pricey parking fee and the confusing parking lot. We were not the only hotel guests who were walking up and down the lot trying to find our cars with our luggage due to weird labeling. Ran into other guests who also thought their car was stolen. We found it eventually.

the location was perfect for us.We had a high floor with a view of the bay as requested thank you for filling our request. Front desk service 5 star. really enjoyed the entire experience, We come to San Fran once a year and The Hilton is our new favorite.
