The customer service was exceptional! The location was great... and hotel very clean!
I could have purchased direct thru their website and paid less and got bonus shopping card and reduced parking fee. No coffee in room (which I was aware of) and no more coffee available in lobby at 8:15am....that was weird.

the hotel is great and super well located with plenty of amenities. Great pool, free coffee in the morning and milk & cookies in the everning. It's a modern, cool, trendy place. Great value for San Francisco.
Because of it's location near the port you can hear the boats honk on oggy nights (which is almost every day). Also they charge an staying fees of $44 per night to be able to use the pool, gym and basically the hotel services. They tried to charges us when we got there but after talking to reception they told us that booking.com reservations have it included in the total amount. Just be mindful of that.

Great location, comfortable beds and nice staff! Kiddos liked the milk and cookies each night.
The daily resort fee, not having breakfast and the weird daily charitable contribution fee we were charged when we checked out was ridiculous. I guess when looking at the value of a location this was a good place to stay but had I not got a parking package it would have cost another $72 a day. With the $30+ daily resort fee that’s over $100 of unexpected fees per night. I would stay again but feel the hotel should be straight up with people about these extra fees. It would go a long way with customer satisfaction by making people feel confident there are none of these sneaky unexpected fees.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped rooms, we had a lovely pool view. When booking, I didn't realise there was a pool, and while we didn't have a dip, it is a sun trap spot, sheltered from the wind, perfect for a bit of sunbathing, nice and warm even on breezy days. All the staff we had contact with were really friendly and helpful, a great team who are a real asset to the hotel. We didn't use any of the other facilities but all looked like there was a good offer. The location is perfect, a short walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, tram and bus lines, and Lombard Street. We didn't walk to the Golden Gate, we drove, but you could if you wanted to. I would highly recommend and would stay here again if we return to this beautiful city.

Very good value for money option; had everything we could have wanted in a very good location. Pool area was nice to spend our last day - clean and well kept. We liked the bar area where we could hang out: one night we bought a pizza from a local take out and was happy we could eat it in the bar. The convenience of a small shop on site for breakfast and free coffees was also good. Room was kept adequately clean by housekeeping. Free bikes to go exploring, helpful front of house/concierge team. We could see Alcatraz from our 5th floor room; sadly due to nearby car parks and other hotels the view isn’t the best even on the top floor.
On arrival I wanted to drop my husband and bags on the concourse before returning our rental car to its drop off. We were approached by a security guard who told us to move on to the car park. I explained I wasn’t parking and was setting a guest down, would only be a few minutes... I would expect to be greeted on arrival and helped with bags, not to be told to park further away to the guests inconvenience with their heavy luggage. You only get one chance to make a first impression… this was a bad one. Consider replacing this person with a doorman who will help guests. Luckily everything else made up for it. Only other thing is there was some very loud bangs in the middle of the night which disturbed sleep at 2/3am. It was over 4th July so not really hotels fault but unfortunate.

Really friendly hotel! It was full of pre-teenageers on a school trip and families with children. Some people could find it annoying - we found it great as it brought a very familial and lively atmosphere. Great location, just a couple blocks away from Pier 39 and Ghirardelli. Also close to the Powell/Mason cable car line turnaround. Breakfast was not included, however there was a coffee shop/bar, a grab and go station and complimentary tea and coffee in the morning, as well as milk and cookied in the evening. I loved the decor of the hotel, with bright colors and fun images. We didn't need the parking, but it seemed to be a large space. Also didn't use the swimming pool - it was too cold for that. Shout out to the receptionists, who are always busy (really, they don't stop) and help us with a smile and courtesy.
N/A. I'd recommend it though for families and people who enjoy a less formal hotel.

I think they offer breakfast fir a price.
I know it's San Francisco but free parking would have been nice. 65$ per night is a little steep.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was very central to the places we wanted to see
There were some maintenance issues with the room that were addressed well by the staff but it feels maybe the hotel is in need of an update. Air conditioning was loud and blew directly into the bed which was uncomfortable at night. Bar fridge temp could not be adjusted and froze things. No coffee and tea facilities in the room was a problem but was addressed by the staff. Wifi did not work. There was also some loud work going on in the alleyway outside the window very early in the morning. Better soundproof windows would have fixed this.

We liked the location, the staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, the hallways and carpets very clean, and the elevators/pool worked well. The morning coffee/tea for free was appreciated. We felt safe with the security and staff at the front entrance.
We would have really liked to have a light breakfast available for free each morning. Even free toast/bagels or cereal would be appreciated as we didn't need a full breakfast each morning and the costs of meals over the week became expensive. I recommend moving the bean bag toss game away from the restaurant front entrance to the back by the pool table. I witnessed several guests almost tripping over persons playing the game as they were walking by to the front doors.

Spent 4 nights here during an October heatwave so the pool at the end of a long day walking and exploring was a Godsend (not many SFO hotels have one). Great amenities and lots of fun items to play with. Great location for Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39 and all along coast. Lots of walking/transportation required to explore rest of city. We loved it.
We had a City view room and it was very noisy at night (all night) with traffic and people. We were there over a long weekend and a big thing was people showboating in their vintage/powerfull vehicles. I think it's just part of being somewhere like this but could really bother some.
