Was excellent value for the price we paid. Location was great. We found our room to be clean and big. I’m sure there are hotels which are a bit plusher, but I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable value of money stay in a can’t be beaten location. How much time are you really going to spend in your room anyway?

The Hotel is in an amazing location in Fishermans Wharf, walking distance to everything you can need. We didn't use a car whilst staying in the city. It's a very touristy area, but when staying with a family with young children it's great to be in a place like this, as there are some dodgy neighbourhoods in San Francisco. Fishermans Wharf is flat, clean, safe and thriving. We had a balcony room with 'partial bay views' but the outlook was awesome. Whilst the rooms are reasonably basic, ours was clean, well serviced and no problems whatsoever. The courtyard and games room was a smash hit with the kids, as were the S'mores kits (provided by the hotel) at the multiple outdoor courtyard fireplaces.

Reception staff were a little cold during the check in process which is pretty disappointing, especially after such a long flight when you're tired and jet-lagged from Australia. Nothing to do with the hotel directly, but it's accessible via the Hotel courtyard; but the food and service at the The Socialite Bar & Kitchen was well terrible. Use it for a shortcut to get through the promenade and that's it. The hotel Zephyr booking.com account was also hacked multiple times by people sending phishing emails, which was a minor concern leading up to the stay. However, these were ignored and didn't effect us. But would have been nice if they got onto that & rectified earlier.

Although the hotel is located in the bustling Fishermans Wharf, it is still relatively quiet - and you escape the confines of the city centre. A good starting point to explore the city on foot...and of course to get the view of the Bay and Golden Gate more often. The facilities are good and the tea and coffee facilities are great. If the tourists are too much for you during the day, just go a few streets further. The staff were very helpful and friendly - everything went very smoothly.

Complaining on a high level: the expansion of the range of teas and coffee would be great, e.g. herbal teas such as peppermint or camomile! :)

The location is fantastic, just a short distance from Fisherman's Wharf and also colse to Lombard Street. Our room had a rather new microwave, which is incredibly convenient. The large yard features 3 fire pits surrounded by charis, making it a wonderful spot to relax and unwind. I also appreciated the self-service tea and coffee machine conveniently located near the reception area. Additionally, there are several charming and unique seating areas, both indoors and outdoors, perfect for enjoying a quiet moment.

On the down side, I'm not a fan of carpets in general.

Just be careful when you make a reservation if you receive a text from the hotel on the official Booking app telling you to check in, don't do it, it is not from the hotel, it's a fraud and they will try to steal your money. It happened to me, and the manager told me that it was a fraud and helped me with my bank to get my money back but be careful and do not do that check in or click on the link, even if they threaten to cancel your reservation, it is not from the hotel.

The nice little touches really stood out, such as offering s’mores around the firepits, accommodating requests to turn the firepit on early, providing a bottle opener, and being consistently helpful throughout.

The toilet in my room was inconsistent and only worked intermittently throughout my stay, which was really frustrating. While staff began addressing the issue on day 3, it was disappointing that it took so long for the problem to be taken seriously. This was the only downside of my experience, but unfortunately, it was a significant inconvenience.

Location was very good, near places I wanted to see, ocean and tour bus. Nice view to the ocean

Location is wonderfull - walking distance from Pier 39 and all surrounding must-see-places. Next to reception sits Tatiana providing tickets and info about good restaurants and attractions - highly recommend to talk to her (she gave us promo vouchers to different restaurants and helped with the taxi). Overall personnel was helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, spacious and pretty comfortable. Wonderfull lobby and common zone.

Not all electrical sockets worked next to bed. Coffee/tea are not available in the evening. And only 1 coffee creamer (classic, without any taste) was available unlike in other hotels. Parking is quite pricy - you can get much cheaper nearby.

Loved the decor - really modern and great theme for Fisherman's Wharf. Fantastic communal areas including games room and outside seating area with complementary smores! Good setup in the room for working space and entertainment. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Would have liked more communication from the staff or information in the room on things such as checkout time, fitness facilities and food options available nearby. Also there is certainly space in the gym to have a barbell and also there was no sanitising spray or wipes available.

Fantastic Family-Friendly Hotel! We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely fantastic—just a short walking distance to Pier 39, making it so convenient to explore all the attractions nearby. Our kids had a blast at the outdoor game area, which was a perfect way for them to burn off some energy after a day of sightseeing. One of the highlights was the firepits available for guests. It was such a cozy spot to unwind in the evening, and the hotel provides complimentary s'mores kits, which our girls absolutely loved! It made for a fun family activity under the stars. This hotel is definitely an excellent choice for families. We felt so welcomed, and everything we needed was right at our fingertips. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to San Francisco!

The toilet in our room was running and we had to jingle the lever to make it stop, but it definitely didn't ruin the trip and was a very minor inconvenience.
