Our stay at Inn on Broadway was excellent. The Indian couples at the reception were very helpful and guided us well. The location is very close to tourist attractions and also to public transport. There is free customer parking available. There are ample food options available at walking distance. The room is neat and well furnished. We were quite happy with our stay at this place.

Love the location! It's so close to tourist spots. Fisherman's wharf, Palace of Fine Arts, and more are less than a 10-min drive. We can easily walk to restaurants and cafes. There are bus stops nearby so it's easy to take public transpo around the city, too. I also like that the property has free parking. We rented a car so parking is one of our biggest considerations. Rooms were clean and updated, too!

We were placed in a corner room that faces both busy streets (Van Ness and Broadway) and we're just on the 2nd floor, so it can get pretty loud inside and hard to sleep. Perhaps next time we should request a room in a different spot.

it was a great and convenient location. they had parking there and an underground lot just for them. check in was a breeze, and I have to give many thanks to Anna, who checked us in. she went above and beyond in making us comfortable and happy. She even gave us a map of San Francisco and pointed out on the mail different highlights to see, areas of town to stay away from and all about how to get around. Many thanks to Anna and her staff.

Travelling by car from Los Angeles, this hotel has included in price parking, parking is not for vehicle like Chevrolet suburban or Ford Expedition, but Toyota Rav 4 or Nissan Rogue will fit no problem. Elevator is very old but functioning, gives real good vibe of old san francisco, Rooms are modern, probably renovated 2-3yr ago, water pressure was good, water temperature was good as well, which was essential for us during our winter visit in SF.

hindu lady at front desk wasn't friendly at all for our questions regarding attractions and vehicle parking gave only YES/NO answers, ....... Was it due to our arrival almost at midnight? maybe she was sleepy who knows.

The room was clean and the interior was clearly renewed. The room itself was old and you could see that they just basically got new furniture but the Inn was a bit older. It didn’t bother us that much though. Staff was very friendly. The price was fine for 3 nights ((130$ per night) for San Francisco but a bit too expensive for our taste because of the 2 stars and how old the hotel was. Free parking a huge plus. Overall a nice stay and would recommend.

There was no designated place for smokers, you had to go to the street for a cigarette. The room was a bit loud as you could here the cars on the street aswell as other guests walking on the hallway really well. The toilet had a weird smell that we didn’t like but we also didn’t complain about it to the staff.

The location of this hotel along with its free parking is exceptionnal in San Francisco! Most hotels ask 50-75$ parking fee per night - this is the main reason why we booked here. And the room was great as well, comfy beds, bathroom was clean. Location is awesome, public transport 5 minutes away, safe location.

The location was quite nice, therefore it did not have a lot of normal priced shops around. The restaurants were quite expensive (for Europeans), so we had delivery to our room. This is not really a negative point, but only thing that comes to mind.

This review is for the last leg of my stay from 7/24-26. See previous review for first leg. Same as before great hotel, and would stay there again. Stayed in the Deluxe King Suite and Deluxe King Room during my stays and both were very spacious. They stored my bags before check in and when I checked out.

The only thing I would do differently is request a room on the top floor (4th), which I had during my first stay. During my last stay my room was on the 2nd floor, and due to the floors not being carpeted I could hear every movement from the room above me. This doesn’t effect my overall rating, as I would rather deal with the noise than have carpet. Just want others to be aware if you’re sensitive to that. Even if I couldn’t have 4th floor, I would still stay there. That’s how great it is.

Not relevant to the Inn but the guest in the room above us was very noisy. They were constantly waking/stomping on the floor pacing back and forth every morning and afternoon. He would jump on the bed, and make yell karate sounds in the morning. The floors above us were very creaky and thin sounding.

Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful! At least three different people interacted with someone from my family and each was wonderful. It is right on a bus and streetcar line, somewhere we parked the car for the three days we were there and walked or took public transportation. They were wonderful about holding our luggage in a small locked storage room across from the office. It’s a larger room than what I thought it would be. Nice non-carpeted floors, bathroom was clean. It was a little stuffy when we first got in, but opening the door and window cleared that out in a few seconds.

I was worried about the car being broken into, just from what I’ve read and heard about SF, and they have cameras on every nook of the parking garage. We parked just outside the hotel office on the street level and had no problems. Take everything out of the car when you park. It should look as if it just came from the factory.

The hotel room was comfortable, and the AC unit worked well, although it was a bit loud. The location was fantastic, right in the center of San Francisco. Free parking was a significant factor in choosing this hotel; while the parking area was busy, we always managed to find a spot.

The only issue we had was the lack of a closet or hangers for our clothes, which was a bit annoying. Everything else was great. The staircase looked a bit old and worn out, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would consider coming back.
