Amazing location at an amazing price. Walking distance to all of the major tourist attractions in that area of the city. Located at the corner of Chinatown and North Beach (Little Italy) and 20 minutes from Fisherman's Wharf and Union Square. Plus it INCLUDES parking. Amazing. Staff was super friendly and nice, bed was comfortable, not luxurious but more than adequate for the price.

The room was loud - I had a street side room, and between garbage collection, street cleaning, restaurants closing, etc, it was loud. By the third night was pretty much used it, but coming from a quiet place be warned. In reality, though, the noise at night was worth it for the amazing location. It is literally like living in the city.

Great location in Chinatown and on a bus line. Tons of restaurants nearby. Comfortable bed. Very good value for money.

Rooms are not sound-insulated. There's lots of street noise at night, so pack earplugs if that's an issue for you. When I checked in, credit card machine wasn't working and staff asked for cash deposit; seemed sketchy but they gave me a receipt and returned it the next day when the credit card machine was working. Wi-Fi was pretty weak/slow where my room was -- they need better coverage.

I absolutely loved the location in Chinatown—super convenient for grabbing delicious meals just steps away from the inn! Every bite was a treat. The elevator was quick, which was a relief after long days of exploring the city. Plus, the balcony had amazing views; I could see the Oakland Bridge lit up at night, which was such a nice touch after a long day of sightseeing. It was the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of tea! Oh, and it's a short mile walk to Pier 39 too. Really central location.

One thing to note was that the parking situation was a bit cramped—finding a spot was a little tricky at times. But honestly, given all the perks of the location and the experience, it was easy to overlook. There was a valet downstairs.

When you've never been somewhere before its hard to have expectations! Our stay here was exactly what we needed, the location was what we wanted, in the heart of Chinatown! We could walk everywhere or jump on a bus. We asked for a quiet area of hotel and they accommodated. Parking was tight but always got a space. Our room was great, clean & tidy, spacious enough, on 5th floor so got a bit of a view, bed was fine. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall property a bit run down I guess, but in line with the area. San Fran accommodation is expensive everywhere, I think this was good value.

Location was just on outskirts of China Town which was great. Free parking which is a huge bonus in such a large city, especially as we were only there for 2 nights and mostly used public transportation, so was good knowing our car was parked somewhere safe. Rooms are a decent size and whilst a little tired, was absolutely fine for our needs. The room was pretty quiet given we were in a busy area.

The extractor fan in the bathroom made a weird noise but not enough for us to complain about.

This hotel is a little outdated but the room / bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The Location is excellent, close to everything walking distance. The free parking is a plus, very convenient. There's a ton of restaurants around and we felt very safe walking around even at night. If you are used to 5+ stars hotels, this is not the best option for you, but if you want to stay in a great location in SF and not break the bank, this is the one to book. I recommend!

Excellent location right in Chinatown, a block away is what we called “Little Italy” restaurants and Asian grocers everywhere with so much variety. A 15-20 minute stroll to Fisherman’s Wharf, a little library of things to do outside the lifts, laundry facilities, Walgreens only a few minutes walk away. Although showing its age it was comfortable.

Definitely showing its age and could do with a few updates, not much parking for the size of the establishment.

The location was perfect - Chinatown and North Beach offer many great spots (bars, cafe Trieste, Sentinel Building), it's within walking distance to piers. Great vibe of the streets. Our room was located on fifth floor oriented into parking lot - which means away from noisy traffic, but still with really nice views of the city. Late check-in wasn't an issue and they still had a parking space for us. The room was spacious, AC available, the bed was really comfortable. We were allowed to park in the hotel area even after check-out, so we had more time to explore the city with free parking.

The weather was colder during our stay and it reflected on the room temperature as well. Heating/AC was really loud, so we kept it on just for a while. Walls are quite thin, we heard our neighbours (but it was bearable)

near chinatown in SF, a lot of near places to eat, the rooms are quite good, the room and some facilities are a little bit old but they meet the expectations, its clean and beds are comfortable.

maybe the parking could be an issue but the hotel has space, maybe just the fact that the valet could be moving your car every once and then, on our end we didn't move the car, so we just left it in the parking and used it again until we checked out. (we didn't gave the keys)

Perfect location for visiting San Francisco. You can safely walk around, the neighborhood is good, many good restaurants and bakeries nearby. The motel is older, like many places in San Francisco, but clean and offers free and safe parking lot. It was most important factor for us as we traveled by rental car. Beds are very comfortable.
