The room was spacious with a full-sized refrigerator, 2 burner cooktop and dishwasher. Everything was very clean, but there was no antiseptic smell which I appreciated. The bathroom was so clean, that I even took a bath...which is NOT something I will typically do in a hotel room AND I felt comfortable sitting and relaxing on the sofa. The airconditioning was quiet and worked perfectly...thermostat on the wall. I was on the 5th floor away from the elevator as requested and my room was very quiet. I was near the road, but could not hear any traffic. The fitness room was well equipped with multiple treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, dumbbells and a cable machine. The pool area was clean and lived up to what I had expected from the pictures and, even though it was hot, there were many shady spots with cabanas, umbrellas, or trees. The breakfast was typical fare for hotels of this type, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs (a little salty for me) waffle makers, etc. But nothing special. The kids in the breakfast area seemed happy with their choices.

The bed was a little soft for me, but probably fine for most people. I didn't really use all of the amenities in the room, so the stay was maybe a little pricier than was necessary, but if you are staying awhile or if you have kids with you, this hotel would be a great value.

The doors to the rooms were heavy and detailed. The carpets ware very nice. Hallways were wide like an expensive hotel. Towels and bed so soft. Lighting was wonderful and of course the front desk hospitality was amazing!

Arrived at the time of closing for breakfast and they added gates and told us breakfast was closed. But there was still so much food out on display. We traveled from the West coast and arrived late the night before. I understand it was closed but in one minute we could have help her with leftovers. We were not looking for free food. Just a warm breakfast from our late arrival the night before.

My family and I stayed there due to the hurricane that was coming. I think we probably looked and went back and forth from hotel to air b&b for almost 2 days. Finally we decided to go with a hotel and low and behold I had Genius level 2 and it showed me Staybridge, I liked the way the hotel looked and it was the only one that had the King Suite available and I needed 3 of them. I booked on line and then called to see if I could have the rooms close together, They had already did that for me!! I was blown away, never has a hotel done that on their own!! This one did! Not only was the hotel Beautiful, rooms and bed comfy and the breakfast amazing, but the entire staff was awesome! So nice, helpful, caring, and you could just tell they liked what they do! I def will be going back. Even though I live around the corner from the hotel, That's how much I love it and it will be my little mini home away from home when I just need a min to myself to breathe! : ) OH and another thing, the pool was open til 10 pm, I even saw people in there after that time too!

There was nothing I didn't like. Except I had to leave and go back home.

The breakfast area was clean, well supplied, and conveniently located. There was a good variety of items to get a quick breakfast and be on your way. The hand wash, body lotion, shampoo & conditioner refillable dispensed were very nice. Conveniently accessible, secured to be tamper proof, refillable saving a lot of plastic that is used with the tiny little individual bottles frequently found in hotels.

I would have preferred to have a handheld shower head.

Convenient location to Univ of Florida. Good breakfast. Not only efficient and friendly staff but they were happy people. Everyone we encountered in Gainesville was happy. There was an outdoor area and pool that were utilized well. The grounds were well kept as was the interior. Would stay there again and would be disappointed if we couldn’t stay there. It was also super close to restaurants and shopping.

Not a thing

Several things I liked about my stay is the breakfast (especially important when having multiple family members), pool/spa/outside area, late check out, if there was an issue, it was addressed promptly and with ease, friendly/knowledgeable staff, available parking, clean/neat room (including having Dove soap, hand wash, lotion, shampoo & conditioner), LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

Not a big deal, but one thing I didn't like is that the gate that leads to the basketball court was locked. My kids wanted to play basketball, but they would've had to go in the inside and out another door. Since they're young, I would've needed to go with them, but I was relaxing near the pool & don't know if there was somewhere for me to sit by the court. If I would've stayed in the pool area & in the event something happened, it would've took extra time to scan my card to go inside and out the other door.

The staff were absolutely the best. Service desk, housekeeping and bfast staff. All so friendly. They went above and beyond for us. Even my chihuahuas loved them. Had to be there because hurricane Helene. I was so stressed and from the minute I walked in, the kindness was so soothing. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

it was a little high for two days.

Very clean, "new-ish" hotel, comfortable room, and great amenities. We stayed for 1 night, as we were on a road trip. The location is great, you can easily go by walk or by car to plazas nearby where you can find stores, restaurants, etc. There was a water heater issue but the property called us in advance to let us know. They offered a cancellation at no fee but we did not mind and decided to keep the room at the hotel, and we even get a room upgrade. Staff was great. Breakfast was very good, with diverse options.

We had wonderful breakfasts during our stay and very friendly staff, restocking it as needed. Our room was very spacious, very comfortable beds, and fabulous shower pressure! It was a great stay.

Nothing. The only thing was that the rates seemed to be higher due to the football weekend. This seems to be the norm for all hotels.

this property is awesome. Everything was perfect. The room was perfect the cleanest of the room the breakfast was awesome. The staff was awesome and very helpful. Everybody very friendly. We actually stayed an extra night simply for the fact that the hotel was five*10*in my opinion, the pool and a hot tub was phenomenal Lee awesome could be a little bit bigger because it was so many people wanting to get in and maybe the hours a little bit longer to maybe 12 but all in all I think this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in Florida very very very much room for family definitely recommend.

There’s nothing I can say that I did not like this property is awesome. Everything was awesome. The staff is beyond helpful and caring.
