The rooms are very tastefully done with lovely tropical decor. The view of the bay is magnificent, and the kayaking is wonderful. The staff has always been so friendly and so very helpful. And cheerful!

I know chairs in the tropics can be a problem. But the new wooden lounge chairs are so uncomfortable. You need to find a way to provide cushions for them. The duck was much nicer before they allowed fishing. It was a peaceful, clean place for people to congregate, bring their drinks, and enjoy the breeze and the view. Fishing is dirty and disgusting, I’m fishing people rarely clean up after themselves.

The location is excellent, the private beach and jetty on the waterfront are amazing. There are steps into the shallow water which is perfect for swimming. There are free loungers and shady areas. Very comfortable, large bed in a nice room with kitchen area. Nice big shower. The staff were very helpful and let us use the staff toilet on our day of departure so that we could use the beach until mid afternoon then change.

Only 1 bedside cabinet (nightstand) and 1 bedside lamp. No light switches at all on 1 side. This is a no-no, even in the cheapest establishment. Those of us who need to visit the bathroom during the night shouldn't have to stumble around in the dark. Very inflexible room lighting. Just 1 switch by the door switches on 3 harsh downlighters that flood the whole room with brilliant white light. Why no separate light in the kitchen area? Although the shower was very spacious, the rest of the bathroom was very cramped.

The setting was gorgeous with a little beach and dock to relax on. We saw a dolphin swim around one evening while sitting on the dock, it was magical! The room was clean and comfortable. I also really liked the terrace just out front. The staff was helpful and kind. We would definitely come back!

The strings / rod for our blinds were broken so we had to kind of force them closed manually; we worried about breaking them and had to keep them closed once we managed. We could’ve used another light in the room, there was only a sort of dim table lamp.

Wow, what can I say. What a gorgeous location and great hotel/motel. This was booked based on previous reviews and the property pictures and they were all very accurate. We spent hours on the free kayaks and enjoyed equally as much time in the water and sat enjoying the fabulous views from the jetty deck chairs. The staff are incredibly friendly and we met many guests who were returning here. The location is great, would recommend one of the reef snorkel tours as well on offer in the area. 5 stars, very impressed with this property.

That we have to leave this idyllic paradise!

Shower too small.

The beach front location with the seating area over the water. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. We arrived late and the room key was left in a lock box for us. The lights in the room had been switched on and the room was very inviting. The 9pm - 9am quiet time was a welcome rule so no one was woken up too early by noisy people or children and similarly it was quiet at night. A good choice booked last minute as we didn’t know where we would be on our travels.

unfortunately there was no hot water in the shower. We did report it but it wasn’t fixed during our stay.

Fabulous location with a lovely little beach and jetty to sit on. The room had an enormous very comfortable bed with a sitting area and small kitchenette. We hadn't properly worked out our arrival time following a transatlantic flight and hadn't noticed we would miss check-in, host had a great system using a lock box to obtain the key.

We were very confused that none of the blinds went all the way down to cover the windows, which meant with the lights on at night people could see in, we hadn't come across that before and thought it very odd.

Room was very clean, comfortable and nicely updated. Beach was well kept, lots of chairs and options for being in the sun, shade, to eat, lounge. Dock seating was beautiful to watch the sunrise/sunset. Staff was very nice, I would definately stay here again!

Bathroom was a little cramped, and there was no exhaust fan so it got a little steamy when showering. Check-in was a little late also at 4pm, so there wasnt much day left to kayak or paddleboard, especially with checkout being 11am the next day.

The layout is simple, very nicely decorated, and clean. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Exceptional management!!

I did not like that for the price, I could go a few doors down with a nice pool and diner area; I felt at loss. Also, there were very very loud people there by the grills on the day we got there. They were nice, but it was as if they had taken over the entire place and it was quite rowdy.

Location and the beach. It feels really quite and private. There are, I think, 16 rooms in total, so it naturally can't get crowded. The beach is separated by the "wall" from the ocean, not sure how to explain, but you can't run directly to the water from the sand. Instead you have 2-3 stairs to go down into the water. But it doesn't really matter. The water is pretty shallow and with the nice sand for ~40-60 feet in, so our 5y.o. could play there alone for hours. You can rent a kayak/paddle board/snorkeling mask and fins for free (just need to leave your ID at the office). You can bring your food to the beach and eat there (there are tables) - pretty cool thing to do while watching the sunset. :) There is Harriet's kitchen 8mins walk from the hotel - for breakfast (really great), and Italian pasta factory restaurant 3mins drive with delicious Italian food - for lunch and dinner. Overall it was EXACTLY what we wanted for the 3 days at the beach. So, I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Internet is flaky, and we almost didn't have t-mobile coverage there, but we didn't care much about that. The room's floor was covered by sand and was quite dirty, but probably that's ok for the hotel at the beach - again, we didn't care much :).
