The place was clean and neat but rooms were very small. I would definitely return because of the location, value, staff and I have to say the breakfast. The breakfast cook is chief- first night almond blueberry fluffy pancakes, overnight oates parfait. The second breakfast was egg benedict, with an amazing cream sauce. Third was a key lime sausage gravy biscuits. Everything home made. they also have the fruit and cheeses like superior restaurants. The place is small but very charming and although we travel ALOT- We rarely come across such a great way to start the day!

the rooms could be bigger. we stayed in 17 and the bathroom was very nice but room small.

the historic feel of the hotel was lovely and the gardens were beautiful too. Really comfortable bed and well appointed room. A lovely vibe to the breakfast service. A nice afternoon sangria treat was offered that we sadly didn't get back to enjoy.

Unfortunately the aircon was older technology and was therefore noisy and left the room smelling damp. This was a shame as everything else was lovely. No onsite parking but that was known in advance and the parking lot was just across the street, so not a major issue.

Convenient location. We were close to everything we wanted to be. Great touch by providing complimentary bikes for a day, we enjoyed that. Provided a couple daily complimentary adult beverages, but we missed out on most of those because of the timing and activities we participated in. Nice clean and comfortable room. Bathroom/Shower was updated, clean and had plenty of space for Key West hotel room. Friendly staff. Love the fact that they are pet friendly!

No hotel property provided parking options which we knew going in. To nitpick a few television channels we enjoy were not available and blacked out.

Great location! Room and property felt fresh and updated. The pool area, although small, was a nice little oasis. Only two blocks away from Duvall St., and Mallory Square.

We did not like the being detached from the property. Although only three doors down on Caroline St., it felt like the building we stayed in was somewhat of an afterthought. Even just a few small additions (like it's own ice machine and water dispenser) would have been a huge help. The latches on the gates are quite frustrating. We witnessed many folks, including ourselves, having trouble with the gates as they 1) are not clear how to operate at first 2) require two hands to use - which is often not easy when carrying bags, luggage, ice, and/or water.

The breakfasts were fantastic, the bed was comfortable. I just had to close the bathroom slider a little to block out the light through the window, but it was quiet and spacious.

No parking, but we know that's the same for most properties. The parking lot on Simonton was generous and gave us a discount for late arrival Monday and all day/night Tuesday.

Especially liked the breakfast and the chefs serving it. They had different made to order options daily, each mouth-wateringly good. Great location, comfortable rooms.

Our room was adjacent to the intersection of the street and it being a bit of an older house meant we could hear noises from the street (loud Harleys taking off on green light in the early morning).

The Ridley House is just beautiful. We had a room with a porch. The room was very spacious, with tall ceilings and windows. It had the vintage structure with modern furniture vibe that I love. It was easy to control the room temperature. It had a refrigerator that kept drinks cold without freezing them. The bathroom was just lovely and had the best water pressure of anywhere I have ever stayed in Key West. Get a porch!!!!!! We sat out there every night and people watched and relaxed! We found the office staff to be gracious and very helpful. Breakfast was simple but very good and they have boiled eggs as well as granola, fruit, yogurt, bagels and pastries. The pool and pool area are lovely.

Caroline Street is very busy, so there is quite a bit of traffic. It can be loud at night. Easily remedied with ear plugs!

The Reception was welcoming and the 'Welcome refreshment' was lovely, thank you. The location of the hotel was great - a short walk to many restaurants, shops and places to visit. The breakfast was excellent with a plentiful selection for a continental breakfast. We stayed in Room 11 - a lovely room to the side of the swimming pool (unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to try the pool!) - the bed was very comfortable and the ensuite with shower, excellent.

We can't think of anything - apart from would like to have stayed longer and hopefully we will be back one day.

The location was great, nice pool, breakfast was okay. Greg was great and helpful getting bikes. Room was nice size and very clean.

Mislead on bike availability, other guests had same issues. When made booking was told there were 5 bikes available each day and were first come first available then can rent at discounted rate. When arrived were told there were no free bikes available, then sent txt message they gave wrong information. Then told only first day they were free and had to pay for any day after that at discounted rate. On 2nd day they picked up our bikes and took more than 3 hours to return them to us. they did credit us for rental but lost 3 hours of beach time with friends.

There should be some type of agreement with nearby parking for guests. I realize it says no parking on premises but there truly was NO parking available that wasn't horribly expensive and inconvenient; having to go back at 8am and re-pay so the car wouldn't be towed. I expected a better service.
