I loved everything about this hotel. It was exceptionally clean. The staff was awesome! The hotel in an of itself was absolutely beautiful. I could tell the staff loved working there, the cleaning ladies were happy and smiling, when I passed their laundry room the one working in there was singing!! It sold me, when I travel I will be looking fora Tru by Hilton hotel! Oh, and in the lobby there were vending machines, food and drinks set out you could purchase anything you might need while on your stay without having to run to a gas station.

Nothing there was absolutely nothing I did not like. I could not say enough GOOD things about it!!

Brand new so it’s very clean and modern. Loved the lobby with large comfortable seating area, TV for watching the championship games and the pool table was the cherry on top! The snacks, drinks and microwaveable meal options for purchase are a great idea so keep guests conveniently satisfied. Staff were very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The hot breakfast was nice and included ready made omelets, pancakes, sausage and of course cereal, bread & fruit options. There was a sign for grits but there weren’t any available. Location was great and close to I-75 and lots of restaurants & shopping options nearby. (Highly recommend Paisanos Italian restaurant too!)

Everything was so compact and neat. I love the lobby area with the front desk area in a circle. The design offers a well stocked grocery area and at Lake City there was beer and wine for sale which we appreciated after a long days drive. The breakfast was delicious hot egg omelet and bacon and they change it up daily. Also offering pancakes and cereals and fruit.

There was nothing not to like.

You folks need to stay at a Drury Inn and try their food. Your breakfast is terrible and it's what the company calls eggs and sausage. I'm sure the employyees did what they could w/ it. Not real eggs and not sure what kind of meat that is you call sausage.

Modern, comfortable, and clean! The room perfectly suited our needs, was well kept, and the bed was very comfortable. Pet friendly with a reasonable pet fee of $35. We enjoyed the variety of options available at breakfast before heading back out on the road. We would definitely stay again. And if we'd had more time, we would have enjoyed playing the board games or pool in the lobby!

My only suggestion would be to add one or two additional pet waste bins closer to the hotel or in the parking lot.

You could hear the traffic coming from 75. I think the windows need to be a little bit thicker to block the noise

I like the flooring in the rooms at Tru. Eliminates any residual smells. Just seems cleaner than carpet. Love the beds. Like the showers. Appreciate the dispensers for shampoo and hand soap, etc. Glad you see recycling option for trash.

The trash cans are a bit too small. The carpet in the hallways seemed to need vacuuming this visit. We like Tru and drive out of our way to stay at this location on our trips to Tampa.

Very new & modern hotel that was decorated very contemporary & nice. Staff was very professional & friendly. Pool was clean & enjoyable to swim in with a nice deck & sitting area. Our room was clean & shower was great! Nice large screen TV in room. Beds were very comfortable & wehad a great night sleep!

We had a king bed but room was small. Everything very condensed. No closet to hang your clothes, just hooks & a small area above the little refrigerator to hang a few blouses & it had no dresser.

This was our third stay at Tru in Lake City. My husband and I drove a slightly longer route on our trip so we could stay at Tru, Lake City. Very clean and so quiet. Super water pressure in the shower and lots of hot water. The bed and pillows are excellent. The laminate flooring is my favorite part. It doesn't retain odors. Makes the room seem brand new. Tru has ruined me for other hotels with the floor covering alone. Coffee and tea available 24/7. There are lots of restaurant choices close and gas stations too. Easy access to I-75.

Welcoming, Clean, Modern and most of all…Comfortable!

The ground floor elevator button (#1) with star on both elevators are so wore off…that old girls, (like us 🥴) can’t see the main floor button. EVERY DETAIL FROM START- TO FINISH WAS TOP NOTCH WITH “EVERY” Associate we encountered. Keep up the Excellent Work!! WE WILL BE BACK 👍🏼❤️👍🏼
