Lovely art deco hotel right on the main Ocean Dr strip. Excellent location. Good value for money compared to other properties in the area. Nice spacious clean room and nicely decorated throughout. Restaurant was closed when we were there for renovation. I was worried about the parking situation after reading previous reviews however needn't have worried. The hotel provided a map to the nearest parking lot which charged $20 for 24 hours and had lots of free spaces even though we arrived at 9pm. The hotel also provided valet parking for $35 if we had wanted. They provided free luggage storage the day of check out as we weren't leaving the area right away. Lots of other hotels nearby refuse to do this. I had an issue with the deposit not being refunded to my card. On investigation it was the bank's fault being slow, the hotel had released the transaction the day of check out. The hotel was very responsive to my emails after check out, were very helpful and provided the information I needed very quickly which let the bank locate the transaction and fix the problem.

Colonel Hotel is right in middle of South beach Miami, with lots of restaurants, shops and entertainment. Directly across from the beach. Great walking and sightseeing! My room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff - especially Mariana - was SO helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to assist and accommodate me when I asked for anything. Excellent front desk clerk!

Loved the room and the service.

The hotel is of course beautiful and perfectly located. The downstairs restaurant is also surprisingly good. It is dedicated to Scarface movie which is pretty cool. Bed was comfortable and it had the biggest tv I've ever seen in a hotel. Price was great.

The room is a bit too small and it does not have electricity sockets visible, likely due to being a very old building. I had to fully move the bed in order to charge my cellphone. Also we were lucky to have been placed on the 3rd floor because the street and restaurant noise you can hear from the 2nd and 1st floor is huge. Still you could hear everything from the other rooms, sound needs improvement.

Israel is 5 stars, great front desk manager, splendid customer service. The entire staff at hotel and restaurant make up for the fact that hotels aren’t great value in south beach. But it’s a nice art deco classic hotel in ideal location with great staff! I highly recommend the place!

Little things need to change in south beach. Ex. No coffee refills and always getting customer for another buck. Colony and Montana’s are actually better than most of the rip-off establishments in Miami. Sell sell sell-but it’s slowly losing its luster for a number of reasons.

Location is great right on Ocean drive with easy access to the beach. Few parking lots nearby too which are handy. The staff is so nice and friendly especially Celine from the reception was so nice! She was chatty without being too much, friendly and funny she even got us a treat for the birthday of one of us. They are lucky to have her!

Maybe the cleanliness could improve a bit. We did not want service every day but even on the days when we requested service the floor was quite messy. Of course guests go to the beach and a hoover here and there to remove the sand would be appreciated I think.

The only is & has always been just The Best ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WES & CHRIS , has THE BEST , customer service in MIAMI 👍👍 This was the first time I have been there since the remodeling. And, it's just beautiful 😍 The outdoor seating & the bar , is just so great. The bartender is one of the best on ocean drive. Great Guy! And all of the waiters & waitress are great as well ! Keep up the great work, Colony Crew 💪

I not one that really complains about the simple things.And I can't think of anything major. I always enjoy my stay when I stay at The Colony 🤩

Loved the layout of the room and location of the hotel. Staff were very friendly. Art Deco Hotel had original features still in place, which was lovely. The ceiling fan in the room was great, allowing free flow of air in the very hot conditions we experienced on our trip.

Lift out of order and no other way to get our luggage up to our rooms except the stairs. Dragging cases up and down the stairs was very difficult. We were stopping prior to going on a cruise therefore we had large cases. I'm not sure if there was a service elevator, but if there was, maybe this should have been utilised to take up luggage.

The room was clean and quaint. Small, but I didn’t come hang in the room. It was perfect for rest and showering. I knew the room did not have a view so I wasn’t expecting a view. The staff was phenomenal! Every single person we met was hospitable and friendly. William, Monica, Norman, Isrell and all of the others whose name I didn’t write down. The staff was definitely 10/10 customer service.

The room was small but that was ok. It does need more power outlets near the headboard area. With so many things requiring a USB OR PLUG they could use more of those.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location also was nice. Right on the strip and close to the beach area. Didn't have to walk far at all to get to food, beach and strip so overall I was satisfied. Last but not least shout out to the amazing staff that worked at the front desk that made my stay that much more comfortable and amazing! You guys were very professional and genuine at the same time so that made it easy to talk to you guys and laugh and joke and feel comfortable. Thank you and I hope I will come back soon and stay at the Colony!!

I mean for the price I paid for the room it was good. My view from my room was of the building right next to us. But I am not complaining but I did stay for more than one day so I would of loved to have gotten a better view room because of the extended stay.
