The location is great with free lovely shuttle buses every 15 minutes to Universal theme parks and city walk from 7 am till 11 pm

The hygiene level must be improved as I stayed 11 days the house keeping didn’t change bed sheets till I requested that on the 7th day ! They didn’t clean the suite well as I expected, as they just organized beds and threw the trash can and refreshed the toilet daily with out deep cleaning for surfaces or the floor out of dust or changing bed sheets daily as I used in all hotels I travelled to around the world. But on the good side when I told Cathiern the lovely receptionist she immediately reported to her Manger who had really a fast responded , respectful and helpful.

The location was brilliant for the Universal parks and restaurants around the area. The added bonus of getting into one of the Universal parks early and regular free transportation to the Universal parks was great. I booked the 2 bedroom suite and it was a good size for my group of 3 people. It was clean with, comfortable beds, with a proper size fridge and housekeeping always doing a good job. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Check-in was easy, and they helped when I wanted to extend my stay with them. I liked they had a Starbucks to grab a morning coffee, and their restaurant offered a variety of fresh dishes made to order. The pool was a good size, with plenty of sunbeds, and it was nice having a bar outside. They have luggage storage which is helpful. I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay there again.

All was brilliant

We've stayed at the Hard Rock and Sapphire falls hotels previously but, because of the location of Endless Summer Surfside, you can walk down I Drive and use the cheaper shops and restaurants. It's miles more cost affective than the other resorts which once your in, your trapped to use there facilities unless you drive everywhere. We hired a car at a cost of £700 but in all honesty we didn't need it because of the Hotels location.

The only downside we occurred was the access gate onto I Drive. They close this at 9pm which is a pain because you have to walk all round the Hotel boundary to get back in. With Walgreens across the road, it's so handy for all your everyday needs.

This was the second time staying here. Great value, love the location to the parks, friendly staff. It’s not luxurious but clean and the surf theme is cute. Loved the 2 room suite for 4 people. We never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for the bus to universal. The bartenders at the pool were awesome! Great conversations and drinks. I love that you can text housekeeping to tell them what you need and they take care of it. The food in the cafe was yummy. We will come back again.

Would have been nice to have a spa after walking all day at the parks.

A short journey to Universal on a free bus and great to have early admission to the parks! We also booked an Uber to take us to Disney, which wasn't too expensive! There are a few restaurants within an easy walk of the hotel on International Drive, but the hotel also has a cafe serving various options. Pool area is nice with plenty of sun loungers and free towels. Staff are really helpful and friendly. An ideal place to stay in Orlando if you are visiting the parks.

The air conditioning in the lobby and on the 3rd floor where our room was located was too cold, I think it was still set at the same temperature for summer even though we visited in November! Some noise in corridor, not hotel's fault, but other guests don't seem to consider being quiet late at night / early morning! Food options at the hotel are limited if you are vegetarian.

Hotel was very clean and room service did a great job daily. Great location and transport for universal, we never waited more than 10 minutes for a shuttle too and from the parks. (disney about 15-20mins in uber) Handful of restaurants and wallgreens/seven eleven next to the hotel Pool was kept clean and tidy with plenty of spare beds and towels Will definitely stay here again!

Alcohol quite pricey at the pool bar(about £8-£10 per beer), also snack prices high in the shop/food area, however this falls in line with the parks and most attraction places in orlando so only a minor issue.

Check in was easy and got in to our room early. Lovely bright room, overlooking the pool. Hotel was busy, but pool area was not and there were lots of loungers for all to use. Used the Universal bus which was free and so easy and got to the theme park areas quickly. Hotel just near the International drive trolley bus, which was great service and covers a wide area. Room very clean and replenished daily. Friendly staff. Good location for lots of restaurants on International Drive.

Hotel drink prices were far too high, especially at the poolside bar. More likely to use if prices were lower. As we had no hire car and were often using the International Drive trolley bus, we found the main pedestrian gate was locked at 9pm, meaning you had a long walk around the outside of the hotel to get back in. Not very good, when tired, or older, or disabled. Think 9pm was just far too early to close a main pedestrian gate in a big resort hotel! Reception then told us, it was easier to walk back through the parking lot, which also seemed a bit unsafe to get in to a big Universal hotel! Not everyone wants to drive and we spoke to a few other couples who said exactly the same thing. Not very user friendly.

Perfect Universal base with spacious practical family rooms with a convenient kitchen area. Great to have a place to do self serve laundry within the hotel too. Very close to the parks with buses every few minutes and of course early entrance by 1 hour gives you that opportunity to ride Hagrids! Walking distance to a Supermarket and restaurants. Grab and go food options and a decent pool area.

Although the rooms are great they’re all wood floors so noise does not travel well. Queues for food and especially Starbucks during the busy morning period are hectic!

Surfside Inn is quite large and it stays with the surfing theme in every area! We even had a surfboard in our room as part of the room decor! Our room, 2037, was quite spacious and just perfect for our group. Two queen sized beds in the entry room and a separate bedroom with a queen sized bed. 🙂 It was very nice to have laundry facilities on site. The restaurant had many selections and the restaurant staff was very pleasant and accommodating, especially Will Guerrero. The pool looked lovely but we were there for only a short time and it rained most of the time. Staff was very helpful and responsive.

The air conditioning blew directly in our faces every night.

Loved the proximity and shuttle service to the parks. Had everything we needed at the hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Great and big pool. Pleasantly surprised by quality at the counter-service restaurant. Starbucks on site. Easy parking. Easy check out. Easy walk to Walgreens across the street. Great gift shop. Everything was just what we needed for a fairly good price. Stayed in the two bedroom suite which was great for our family with kids 10 and 15.

Room was good, but basic. Could have used a bit more space (and some drawers) in the separate bedroom.
