Staff were very friendly and helpful, for example providing accurate dining recommendations. Mattresses and linens were good quality and comfortable. Location was delightful and parking on location was convenient.

These aren't really "dislikes', rather some suggestions for an even better experience: 1. Provide a range of pillow firmness and height - none of the ones in our room were low enough for our comfort. 2. Look into sourcing muffins from a local baker - a bit larger, and more home-made taste and texture. I realize that might prove cost prohibitive, but worth investigating. 3. Keep ahead of plumbing and general bathroom maintenance - the shower head was fine but the pipe entry through the wall was exposed and moved, which lead to leaks or water behind the wall.

The staff was wonderful and the location stellar! Great family place to stay with virtually everything walkable.

We had to get our keys reset FIVE different times. That is a lot and not what we normally have for vacations. They need to get new keys. A protein option at breakfast wills have been very nice. The option of a coffee maker in your room would have been the best!

We were close to a museum and walking park. We literally walked across the street and visited a museum, took in some culture, walked out the back door and walked along the edge of the ocean into a walking park. The accommodations exceeded our expectations as it was a mixture of hotel and villa living. The staff was wonderful. It was also in walking distance of a variety of restaurants

Warning, the parking was a little cramped, but that's true for the entire island. Property could use a better lobby, but we never occupied it. Also, it's hard to find an ATM on the property or anywhere on the island, so come prepared. It didn't interrupt anything, but we like to have a little cash on hand.

The location of the hotel is amazing ... just across the street from the entrance to the lighthouse park, and close to several restaurants and shopping. It is definitely a strong plus for the hotel. The coffee machine in the lobby is terrific, but it was out of order on our last morning (when I really needed it!). The staff was all very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the option for housekeeping services as needed.

The breakfast is so minimal as to hardly count as breakfast, but I knew that from reading other reviews and decided the benefits outweighed this negative. I would like to have a coffeemaker in the room, but I was also aware of this from other reviews. It would have really come in handy when the machine in the lobby was not working!

Last minute extended my stay in the area. This was a good price and it's a nice hotel. Very friendly male checked me in, was a nice welcome. There was a coffee station at any time & he made some popcorn. The bed was comfortable and the room had a jacuzzi type tub in it! I think it might have been a room that is used for Hotel employees maybe in training or certain people because of the way it was set up & the fridge/microwave in hall outside the room, and the room immediately to the left of check in desk. Still nice, and would definitely stay again!

The room is not very large, which isn't a huge problem, especially for a short stay, but the a/c is a little noisy cause it's right next to your bed. When you watched TV, you had to turn up volume when it was running and down when it shut off. Plus room darkening drapes would be nice as well.

The most convenient location on the island. I haven't seen such a comfortable hotel for a long time. Excellent attentive hotel staff. The girls at the reception are highly professional. Safe parking. From the parking lot you can take the elevator or stairs. Furniture for the room in classicism style. I really liked the chest of drawers and the headboard. This is a real work of art. Very wide and comfortable beds. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. For example, suitcase stands are located in a special storage room. Large bathroom. Most hotel rooms have a frontal or side view of the main attraction - the lighthouse. Each room has a balcony, at least a French one. This is a romantic place. I don't understand the complaints in other reviews about breakfast. No one stated that the hotel offers breakfast. But as an additional benefit in the morning you can get muffins, waffles and fruits with excellent coffee. Yes, there is no coffee maker in the room. But there is an excellent coffee machine in the lobby where you can also get boiling water for coffee. We will definitely return to this hotel.

The location was great. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The towels were very soft. The bed was very comfortable. The coffee station was nice.

Our room key has to be re-keyed every time that we went to our room. They told us that they were having problems with their key system. We liked the coffee station but we like to have a cup of coffee after getting up. We did not like having to get dressed to get a cup of coffee. It would be nice to offer having a coffee maker in the room. We usually bring our own coffee our disappointed that we did not have one in the room. Need paper towels in the room. You have the ability to heat your food in the microwave but no towels. We had to use the Kleenex from the bathroom and not get the towels dirty. There were drinks to purchase but no power aides.

This was a great place to spend a couple of spontaneous days at St. Simons. The location is great with the waterfront and plenty of restaurants all within walking distance, right across the street from the lighthouse which made some great photography with the full moon on my second night. I love all of the giant trees around too. The room was clean and met all expectations. The Internet worked well. The bed was very comfortable.

I would have prefered if this place had a hot tub in addition to a pool, but that is the only suggestion that I have. Everything on the property met my expectations.

Would have liked another choice of bed pillows. Only had very fluffy pillows for bed. Parking level elevator should only go up to the lobby. Room key to operate elevator to other floors should be required for security reasons.
