We got a river view suite and it was AMAZING!!! It was 1 king bed in a separate room with dressing area, and a huge bathroom, 2nd bathroom with a shower, and kitchen with a four seat dining table, a large L shaped couch (with a pull out bed), a desk, a fireplace, and two TV's. The staff was friendly, it was very clean, and while expensive, it was worth it! We were not in town long and wish we had a chance to go to the two restaurants and spa. Next time!

Additionally, Alice at Terrace 16 provided top-notch service during my meals, making each dining experience delightful. I must also express my gratitude to the entire housekeeping staff, bellmen, security personnel, and all employees of this magnificent hotel. The property has the best location and the one bedroom suite was incredible. It is spacious and has all the luxuries of home to make you feel comfortable.

When we first arrived and checked-in, staff changed our room to a lower cost room and did not inform us (compared to what we booked). When we arrived in the room and called down it took them a long time to find out why. Turns out because we arrived early they changed us because it allowed us to check in immediately. However, we were not informed, given the choice (as we would have declined as to stay in our originally booked room), and it was a lower charge room but they did not issue a refund. That part of the experience was less than desirable but after that the stay was exceptional.

As first timers to Chicago we really enjoyed our stay at The Trump Hotel. I chose the hotel for it's location, views, gym, pool, how it looked on the website and the good reviews, and it didn't disappoint. The bed was comfy, the room spacious, and well appointed, everything working as it should be, I got the impression that feedback from customers is listened to here. Our maid did a great job with our room every day. I would highly recommend using the gym as the facilities here are better than any high end hotel that I have been to, so any training that you may currently be doing back home can be continued without sacrifice (unless you are the worlds strongest Man/Lady). The sauna and steam rooms here are in the changing area so are male or female specific, clean, functional but quite small. The changing area however is spacious, secure, has shaving foam, deodorant, body scrub, body butter and a hair dryer. There was a running route map in our room from 1 mile to around 20 which was a nice touch, the area is known for its running and walking. We had a couples massage on one of our days, I would recommend this, a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon. All staff that we encountered were friendly & helpful...maybe a few more genuine smiles and a little warmth and engagement from one or two of the waiters in the restaurant at breakfast wouldn't go amiss - but that is the only slight negative I could give about this place.

What didn't I like? Not really in the hotel's control but I would say the noise from the emergency services in the small hours each night - but then again the trip did feel really safe which added to our enjoyment.

Beds were comfortable although needed a King and a queen. Location was great and quiet. Had key problems a number of times but once the key battery was replaced all good. Generous with amenities. Went over the top at the restaurant. Food was also amazing. Had champagne and strawberries delivered to room - WOW. Great location. Felt safe and lots of support from staff. Front door men were really nice too!

My two issues were the shower was challenging to turn on without getting wet and the water went into the tub. This is about design and function not operations. The other issue is that we paid for a SPA room and were put in a regular room (they were busy on a weekend). Although they made good with an $80 credit, it was still not what I paid for or ordered. It is more of the point of the matter. Otherwise, we enjoyed the hotel a lot.

Rooms were very spacious with a very large bed. Decor very modern with remote controlled curtains and lights. An exceptional bathroom witb choice of separate shower and bath and a tv screen within the mirror. Staff were professional and friendly and gave great advice as to what to do and where to go Location on the river was excellent with restaurants and shops and theatres only a few minutes walk away

The restaurant on the 16th cloor looked imprrssive but the menu was limited. Not really a complaint, the menu just didnt suit us

Took a red eye into Chicago and got to hotel at 7am well before checkin time. Reception was so welcoming. They gave us a room right away and even upgraded us to a suite. Room was very spacious and had an incredible view of the Chicago skyline. Suite has a full kitchen. Hotel is immaculate. Gym and pool facilities are top notch. Location doesn't get any better (right on the river and near the start for any river tours). We walked everywhere. Walgreens (for supplies) and Ghirardelli (for ice cream and hot chocolate ) right next door. Pricier than other hotels but worth the extra spend. I would 100% definitely stay at trump chicago again.

Suite had king bed and pull out sofa bed. Sofa bed was not very comfortable for me. But the hotel accommodated us by providing us with a cot which was acceptable.

From the moment we arrived, literally every staff member greeted us, and was so helpful and friendly. We brought our Segway scooters, we were going to leave them in our car, and the Valet said they could store them so when we needed them, all we had to do is ask and we had them immediately. The property is fantastic, view incredible, room clean, fully equipped with everything, technologically modern, and Trump Hotels literally think of every need you might have; everything you might need or want from start to trips end, it was a superior experience.

Can't think of anything that could have been better --

Everything about the hotel was great…if all Trump hotels are like the one in Chicago I will be searching for them for my next vacation. The whole hotel was stunning and the staff were amazing …a seamless operation clearly goes on in this hotel …the restaurant on the 16th floor served really great food and best of all the overall price for such a top quality hotel was amazing …the hotel was also central to everything you could need or want…arrived on a Sunday and the street market was in full flow …amazing atmosphere

Nothing not to like the hotel was amazing

The hotel is impressive and 5 stars. The girl at the Registration desk was amazing - very welcoming and kind to us. The room was very large and comfortable. we had a kitchen. The room had everything for convenience - cutlery, pots, pans, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, 2-burner stove, minibar and refrigerator. there was also a safe and an umbrella in the room. the bed was very large and comfortable, we slept well. I liked the panoramic windows from the room, which offer a wonderful view of the skyscrapers. Next time we'll try to book a river view rather than a city view. I also visited the pool in the spa area and was satisfied. beautiful view from the inside, warm water, there are lockers with a code in the dressing room, all the necessary cosmetics and utensils (cotton pads, hair dryer, deodorant, shaving gel, towels). The hotel also allows you to store your luggage before and after check-in. Terrace 16 deserves special attention, offering incredible views of the Wrigleys Tower, Michigan Avenue and the lake.

To turn on the shower, you must first be under cold water in order to be able to reach the handle and switch to hot water, which is illogical and inconvenient)) Also when we checked in, we didn’t find slippers in the room, we had to call to ask for them, after 40 minutes they brought them to us. Deposit 200$ per night. We're still waiting for our return
