upon arriving they could not locate my booking and were able to help me and provided me free breakfast due to the trouble. They gave us free breakfast for our troubles which was nice> The beds were confortable and slept well. Overall they tried to help as they could. My daughter left hecklace at the hotel and went back 5 hours after check out and they had it. I didn't expect that and it made me so impressed. thanks and the front office staff was awesome,

The rooms were very clean excellent customer service people working at the counter gave us tips on things to do in the area. The girl who works the bar / breakfast restaurant needs a raise. I watched her open up the restaurant and I also had a glass of wine with her at night. She never seemed tired she never seemed annoyed and always had a smiling face and very inviting. I think she adds to the environment of the hotel. My family and I went for a quick little getaway for spring break and it's exactly what we got. We will be back in the future and hopes that the lady in the bar is still working there.

The hotel was beautiful, the bathrooms and lounge area downstairs were clean and welcoming! Very nice and comfortable for the family. Right off the highway and prime location. The bed was super comfy

I didn’t like having to pay for breakfast it was not well tasting. There was a waitress who took the order and it was made as your ordered it. Simply just not tasty. For the amount of money you pay for nightly stay the breakfast should be free‼️ Also the rooms are not that big compared to other top level hotels as Hilton. (Very disappointing) The hotel doesn’t tell you in advance there is an incidental hold I feel you should be notified prior to arrival.

Only 1 coffee pod of regular in the room the rest wa decaf,asked cleaning staff for more regular and was handed 1 pod if decaf, had to give it back and ask again and got 1 pod again and I explained there were 2 of us in the room…gave up and went and bought my own pods. Not a hug he deal but really want my coffee

Very good location in Lake Forest, a town with little in the way of hotels. Modern and easy to drive to downtown Lake Forest and visit family

After Covid the hotel was understaffed. Big annoyance was that the sheets popped off the bed, at the corners. I asked for new sheets and got new sheets, but the new sheets did the same thing...popped off the corners! The mattress was comfortable but the sheet corners need to be deeper so they will not pop off.

Continental Breakfast was very good, wish it included either scrambled or boiled eggs at no extra charge, or a self made waffle. Location was great, close to my daughter's home in Lake Bluff. You DO need to trim tree out fron so you can see sifgn better at night and maybe add a light on it!! Drove right by at night!!!!

The staff was friendly. The decor was updated. I take the stairs if I don't have luggage and the stairwells were wide, warm and carpeted. That is a strange compliment, but most stairwells are gross concrete with cigarette butts and food wrappers. It was a nice surprise. The pool was small so I did not do the laps I was anticipating, but it was clean and heated.

I wish that breakfast was included. There were two options available for an additional charge for hot or cold breakfast.

The staff. The morning breakfast staff was amazing. Nikiki made sure all guests felt at home and during their stay.

Breakfast was very complete in selection, good tasting and the waitress was very pleasant.

This hotel is located in a relatively isolated location. There is no place to get a meal within easy walking distance. The food that I obtained, had to be ordered in from a local pizza venue that was recommended by the front desk staff. Luckily, the room's refrigerator was NOT loaded with unwanted over priced goodies, therefore, I was able to order enough food from the pizza venue to place in the refrigerator to be warmed in the microwave for later consumption. Since the hotel has what seemed to be a full kitchen, I don't know WHY it could not provide food for a noon or evening meal and maybe even room service! I think it would greatly increase the acceptability and usage of the venue!

The staff was so helpful when I accidentally booked the wrong night and had to change dates. Everything was clean and the facilities were all very nice.
