My elderly Mom visits during the day and I am always given a suite that is best for her needs. Everyone who works here is professional and polite. The parking lot is well lit; I am a woman by myself.

HALF THE TIME WHEN MY ELDERLY MOM VISITS DURING THE DAY THE ROOM HAS NOT YET BEEN CLEANED. It is often very difficult to print in the computer room on the Lobby level. One of the cleaning people placed my bed pillows onto a chair but people's behinds are on the chair so perhaps I am fussier than some guests about cleanliness but that really bothers me. The Caldwell Grill no longer serves asparagus.

I really like the hotel. If you're a single traveler, you will feel safe and secure. The front desk seems always present. The exterior room doors are all visible to each other. To move in-between the floors on the elevator, you must insert your key card. Which is a wonderful security feature. Housekeeping is always superb!!! 👍🏼.. The water pressure in the bathroom is wonderful! The shower gel amenities, I loved!. Nice touch. Management sent me regular alerts, if I was satisfied during my stay. Thank you!

Breakfast hours. 6 to just 9am for breakfast??? On weekdays? Disappointing. Be cautious, there are coyotes in Illinois. Saw this huge coyote roaming around, in the parking lot, when coming back to room late at night. Non aggressive coyote. So be cautious when in the parking lots at night.

All staff were absolutely the best. Management texted me shortly after we checked into our suite to see if we were comfortable and texted again the next day as well. The pool and hot tub were nice and the breakfast had a very big selection. Love the glass elevators and extra security measures taken to get onto guest floors. This hotel has an amazingly spacious lounge/common area and is a great value for the money. Offers a free drink every night for evening reception as well.

The room was very warm and took a long time to get to a comfortable level after turning the ac up as high as it would go. The carpeting had some stains and we didn't have any blankets or pillows for the sofa bed but we got some promptly after asking. There was hair in the bathtub when we first arrived and we got a replacement pillow case for one bed due to finding a lipstick stain. Everything else smelled and looked clean.

My family and I stayed here for a night, and we loved the omelet bar and breakfast. We missed the timing for the free drink, and the bartender wouldn't let us use our coupon, but it would have been a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, and we loved the size of the room. The water pressure was great. It was a quiet night, and we all slept well.

The room was definitely not stocked for a family of four. We had two washcloths and two big towels. The bodywash was also enough for one person. It was empty. Since we stayed one night, we just used the hand soap bar for the rest of our showers. The pool and hot tub were packed. We still went down, but there were a lot of people. The room took forever to get cool. It didn't seem like the thermostat was working properly.

I had mentioned before chekcing in that this is a special surprise trip for my husband and I'd love to make him feel even more special if there was a note that could be put in the room before we checked in. That request wasn't fulfilled however, when Nicole reached out check about our stay I bought this up and she was lind enough to arrange it on our day1 when we returned back to the hotel after a long day of having fun around the city. She was kind enough to keep some goodies and a note by me printed and put on the table. That made our stay 10x times more special. So Special thanks and kudos to Amazing Nicole💕

There were 2 situation that made our stay not so fun:- 1. Our rooms thermostat never worked. The temperature wasn't going down and was at 77-78° the entire first day. That got fixed the night before we were checking out. Thanks to Nicole helping again on getting the engineering team fox this. 2. There was a sudden Fire alarm while my baby and husband were sleeping in the room and I was having breakfast downstairs. This literally ruined our morning experience as my daughter got super scared and my husband and I were veryVERY panicked and scared. Not the best thing to expect on your holiday. However, we went out and stayed in our car for about 45 mins to an hour and it all got sortrd by then.

Nice hotel, suite was very nice but could use some updating. For example, the caulking and tub floor in room 238 was old and moldy looking. The toilet, sink floor etc was just outdated. It was clean so that was a plus. The bed was very comfy. The staff could be friendlier. On check -out, front desk did not care to ask how our stay was or even thank us for staying. She just printed my bill, placed it on the counter, turned and started doing something else. I found that to he quite unprofessional. I had the same lady at check-in, she in error told me my payment didn't go through (although it did) in front of a lobby full of people. She then said, "oh we can handle this when you check- out." She never mentioned it or apologized for her error when we checked out the next morning.

Better customer service. Staff should be friendlier and say thank you, and ask how was your stay. Just normal customer service.

The location, the amenities especially the breakfast and on the house snacks in the evening. The breakfast was really good. The separate live counter for omelette is the star attraction. You can get a huge variety of omelettes from that counter, fresh, as many times you want.

We stayed in a suite for 2 days. After the first day there was no refill for the coffee, coffee creamer, coffee cups, sugar etc. so even though we wanted to have coffee , we couldn't on the 2nd day of our stay. That wasn't cool at all.

King bed was very comfortable; many pillows, and with good loft; blanketing was a proper weight, linens were of good quality. Room size was alright for the price - we enjoyed the separation of bedroom and live/work space. Pool area was clean and well-stocked. Breakfast area was clean, and the food was better than average. Comp'd adult beverages each day were welcome - thanks!

we had fun in the pool, though it was small and quite restrictive toward young people. While the breakfast was decent, there were little problems like cups running out, or flatware running out. Overall, this isn't the most welcoming place for families with young ones. Seemed much more about serving a business clientele. Not a problem for us as we made our own fun. The location is quite out of the way for Downtown activities. Our room was directly above the outdoor smoking area, and the smell of pot was evident many times, and the smokers were loud at night.

I had a wonderful three night stay. Of course it goes without saying the breakfast was wonderful and such a bonus. The happy hour is always a treat. Loved the bartender as she was extremely personable and friendly. Front desk we're all phenomenal and made me feel like they truly cared. Will definitely be staying here again, the time I am in the area.

There is only one way into this hotel you have your own transport or you have transportation arrangements And secondly, there is no grocery store near the location of this hotel. If you do not have your own transport and you need something in an emergency, then you cannot buy it from a grocery store.
