Our room was clean. We were sceptical about the cleanliness given the reviews of the motel. The breakfast was good as well. The staff kept the items coming out on the table. The spread was limited but everything was good. This motel was one of the rare places where bottled water is free. Plenty of parking was available. The staff is attentive and eager to make your stay comfortable. In the end, I would say compared to other properties in the area, seasider is a good value for money.

The location of the motel is towards the end of the town. The AC in our room was oddly in the bathroom. The curtains did not keep the lights out and it was bright inside the room at night. The room can definitely benefit from some furnishings.

The location and staff were the best. Wished they had more options for breakfast, but what they had was wicked good! Rooms were very quiet as well Pillows and bed were comfy and they gave us lots of towels to start with.

I wish they rooms had rug. It rained the first few days so we tracked in a bunch of dirt even though there were mats out side so floor felt gritty to walk on but we asked for them to be vacuumed mid week and they did and it was great. Floor was cold too just a little rug mauye would make it little cozier Would love a water bottle filling station to safe on water bottles

The room was clean and neat. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The fact that there was always bottled water available in the lobby was especially nice as we did a bit of hiking and could take the water with us in the mornings.

Bug spray smell when we first entered the room, but it cleared up with the balcony and main entrance door opened. I had requested a room on the first floor and there were none available when we arrived. Not the hotel's fault as the didn't get the message from booking. However, there were many rooms on the second floor available and hotels should leave at least one or two room available on the first floor in the event someone disabled shows up.

Location. So close to Cadillac Mountain. Quiet street too. Our room’s location, being in the separate building, placed it farther from other guests, so it nice and quiet. The free snacks, water bottles, juice bottles, and then pastry, fruit, and cereal in the morning, were just perfect.

Doesn’t have a restaurant for a full, or even buffet breakfast. Seem to be shorthanded for cleaning staff to service rooms. Not a motel problem, but while Google maps shows the correct location, the voice guided directions place the motel on the other side of Mount Desert St. (on Eden St. instead of Kebo St.). Somebody needs to inform Google.

Extra friendly staff, very clean room, great wifii and good snacks and beverages available all day (water, coffee and juice). Location was a big plus also. Easy access to restaurants/groceries and easy cycle in/out of Acadia park every day. As a cyclist, this is a HUGE plus.

If asked what could be better, id say breakfast food could be a little healthier. Pasteries in the am just isnt my thing. But maybe its yours? The apples, oranges and bananas were a great plus. But something easy with more substance could be great. This being said, it does not take away from my appreciation of the place and id be very happy to stay here again in the future.

Because we booked this reservation only three days prior to our stay and being summer in Bar Harbor, Maine, with most hotels already full, I think we didn’t expect it to be quite as pleasant as it turned out to be. Cleanliness is our top priority, and the seas met an exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly, and accessible.

There were really just two things that Came to mind. The bathroom door was a sliding door, Which doesn’t provide much privacy. I feel that if any more than one person in a room, the bathroom should have total privacy. The other noticeable discomfort was solely based on personal preference, and therefore not a shortcoming of the hotel. The pillows were very big and thick and caused a little neck discomfort.

The motel is conveniently located inbetween the Acadia National Park (Cadillac Summit) road and village center. You can get to the latter on foot in just 10-15 minutes and enjoy a big variety of shops and cafes and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious enough for 4 for our short stay. A modest breakfast was offered, but we appreciated most the complementary bottled water and quick snacks throughout the day.

The wifi was practically non existent in the room, so considering the phones also had poor connection in the area, we were challenged in our search for touristic information and making arrangements relevant to our trip. There is no motel staff at the reception after 11pm, so if you arrive late and your electronic keys in the envelope don't work and need reprogramming, then you'd need to go through unwanted hassle in the middle of the night.

The manager was very nice and chatted with my husband and I a bit about the area. I booked on booking.com which states no refunds once you start your stay. We decided due to a 14hr drive home that we’d check out a day early and split the trip instead. I notified the front desk at 1130am (check out is 11am) that we’d be checking out early. Without prompting she called her manager to ask for a refund for the final day to which he obliged. Customer service goes a long way and couldn’t have been more impressed.

Outside walkways need a good sweeping and paint

Location is great for the bar harbour, Acadia National park experience. As it is right at the main lights as you get to the town. Acadia NP is back up the road 1.5 mile and town is 10 blocks to the wharf. With all the shops between. You can not park on the street closer than this hotel with out paying steep fees. Room was good size and comfortable. Bathroom was over size. Breakfast was “grab and go” with a selection of pastries and bars and coffees, teas and fruit. works really well because you want to get into the park or catch a cruise.

Looks to be popular. so I expect it will be hard to get my next booking at the last minute.

Great location/comfortable motel/lovely staff. Met all our needs for a 6 day stay. Really enjoyed the 'grab and go' breakfast, teas/coffees/juices and snacks (nice little choices for everyone) which were available 24 hours (very much appreciated adter returning back from an all day hike). The staff were all friendly and helpful, but a big shout out to Latoya who looked after our housekeeping - a great housekeeper and lovely lady - 'Thank you'
