Check in and check out were quick and easy

Breakfast was a little disappointing.

The location is EXCELLENT! There are plenty of restaurants around the site, the beach is RIGHT THERE, and the staff is amazing. I could go on and on! This is our second time there and we’ll be back again next year!

My room key was off at 10:20 on the day of checkout. The only way to reset was to take it to the front desk. (My sisters turned off around 10:30 when she checked out the day before.) It is an inconvenience when trying to load a car. They need to fix that as the front desk person acknowledged that their system shuts keys off around 10:30 on the day of checkout.

I liked the balcony with the ocean view. Also how the kitchette was stock with plates, utensils, cloths and washing liquid. loved the indoor and outdoor pools. I also liked the location just a few blocks from the end of the boardwalk and two blocks from the amusement park.

I was satisfied with the breakfast but wish it would have more variety. I wished the outdoor pool had a later hour I felt it closed too early. The microwave needed to be updated and the freezer needed to be defrosted.

We stayed on the fifth floor ocean front which was great and we were the end room. Unfortunately we didn't get to get on the beach as it stormed the whole time. Outdoor pool was not yet opened either.

After reading some previous reviews, I was a a little worried on how the room would be, but I figure those were probably people expecting a five star resort for an economy price, we were greeted at the desk upon check in and it went quickly, we got into our room, it was clean, plenty of towels, there was a sign saying the rooms would be serviced if you were doing a long stay every 3 days, we didn't mind, we hung up our towels and my wife made the beds, just like at home, it took only a few minutes. We had ocean front rooms for 4 nights and cost us a little over $400, how can you beat that. There were 2 pools, one inside and one outside. Free breakfast, was simple, bagels, fruit, waffles, cereal, some pre packaged danish, coffee, milk and juice, was fine with us, 2 days we ate out, which we didn't mind, were not hard to please, we plan on booking there next year, better than I expected.

I did book 6 months in advance an oceanfront room and expected to be on an upper floor, but I did not have a choice and we ended up on the 1st floor, but we weren't going to let a simple thing like that ruin our vacation, we could still see the ocean out of our window and beautiful sunrise.

Don't let other negative reviews worry you. I'm guessing there was a transitional period when it switched from Econo Lodge to Quality Inn and maybe things were rocky for a while based on some of the reviews - but our room was clean (and I am picky!) and comfy. Great pillows! They had decent breakfast items including bagels/make-your-own waffles, as well as quick items like muffins/cold cereal. Staff was friendly (yes, even the breakfast lady!). Housekeeping doesn't come unless you ask - which is clearly posted both on the bathroom mirror and on a slip in the room where you can check off specific items you need - which was completely fine with me! It's in a good location down just a few streets from the boardwalk. No extra charge for parking and the wifi seemed to work well. It was quiet at night - and we had a great ocean view and balcony.

I really don't have any big complaints. The elevator IS sketchy as some others have mentioned but we never got stuck on it.

The breakfast was very good however when I went over Easter,there was no one there. As the season is here,I think a larger space will be needed.

When I booked the hotel, on your site, it said it was an Econolodge and when I arrived, no one was in the Building and I entered and could have met harm and no one would have known a thing. Then I saw someone outside and said the office was Quality Inn.A bit confusing and scary at the same time. After that I secured a room and the staff was very nice and caring. I mentioned security as I was traveling alone.

The location was great! The hotel was actually nice than expected. Close to lots of activities and restaurants, took morning walks to boardwalk.

The coffee!!! It was the worst coffee I have ever had. They provide a free breakfast, which is great if you are budgeting or with big groups. I did not partake as the line was pretty long. Good breakfast spots walkable and affordable. Staff could use a friendlier attitude. Not rude, just blah and there.

The staff was incredibly nice to my family and my children which made our stay so nice. The maintenance, housekeeping and management all asked our childrens names and greeted our 10 month old everytime they saw her with "oh hi Emma!" We enjoyed the amenities and as they are working out some kinks in the new facilities everyone has been more than accommodating.

Breakfast could use more options as my children would only eat a muffin.

We like the street location when we travel to Ocean City. I liked the location of our room to the elevator and ice machine. I liked putting the towels out for replacement each day as needed.

There was a musty smell to our room, 407. The hangers were HORRIBLE. I say this every time I go to the beach. There needs to be more hooks for hanging bathing suits and towels.
