They must have just remodeled the cottage (#11) I was in and it was really nice and comfortable. It featured a king bed, and a living room/sitting area with a kitchenette (which I didn't use). Because it was recently remodeled I think they intend to add a lamp or two so you can read at night. I'd definitely come back. As a side note, I often came to this motel in the 1980's, 1990's, 2000's. With the remodeling, it's definitely BACK! The outdoor pool is very well maintained. It was heated to a perfect temperature.

This is my second time at the villager motel and they never disappoint I loved the room i loved that it is clean when some of the reviews for this motel are very deceiving and there liars I have had only great experiences at the villager motel in Bartlett NH thank you to the owners, housekeepers, maintainers of the property for always making our couples getaway amazing we will be back again!!

I have absolutely nothing I didn't like about the property. Can't wait to come back

The Owners and staff where great Helpful and friendly. There when you needed them room was amazing clean with a resent update. That a small kitchenette with pots and pans towels. very nicely done rooms. Very clean room. This is a privately owned motel. And there staff make this place great i will be back soon

Maybe some hooks or a bar to hang jackets and clothes would be nice but was not a problem

Fabulous deal for what you get. Kitchenette plus huge bed and fold out if needed. It's not the Ritz, you get what you pay for, but it's clean and warm and comfortable and just what you need between two days of long winter hikes. Always stay here on long hike weekends.

Wish the curtains closed completely to keep out the light from a lamp above the door that can't be shut off. There's a meter inside the doorless closet that makes a very loud ticking sound. If you're a light sleeper, that may bother you.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. For a "budget motel" I was not expecting much. But this far exceeded my expectations! Property was quiet even though it was sold out. The pool was clean and the grilling area is a nice touch. I would stay again!

A bedside lamp would have been really nice. There is only the main light by the door which is ever so slightly inconvenient.

Family run business with a casual atomsphere. Quiet! Pet Friendly (important to us) Beds were comfy and linens crisp and white. Room was clean and tidy. Not all that far from North Conway, if that's why you're there. Very close to Attatash

Only one suggestion. Rubber mat for inside bath tub might be useful. The tub was very slippery underfoot when taking a shower. Otherwise all good

Great location. For our family it is all about access to the mountains, simple accommodations (safe, clean, quiet and pet friendly) We don't want to pay for a lot of bells and whistles that we wont use. This place is perfect.

The place is still in its re-incarnation stages, they are doing a lot of work so the grounds are a little shabby

The rooms were big and clean. The pool was great. The fire pit was fun. The staff was nice.

We didn’t know about a breakfast. The keys didn’t always work. Outdoor picnic tables and and chair and playground need to be updated.

There were very few reviews so we were a little worried but this hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and equipped with a microwave and fridge. Easy to access rooms and pool on sight. The staff were helpful and friendly. Located away from the traffic and near the attractions!!

Everything was great! The perfume smell of the room was a little too strong but we're sensitive to smell.
