Great location in an up and coming location that is rapidly gentrifying from an area that used to be a bit industrial. Felt very safe.Two blocks from the 7 N W lines and very near to the E M R lines too. It's as easy, if not easier to get to most parts of Manhattan than if you were staying in Manhattan. Popular with European families mostly, it's clean with a reasonable breakfast. Great Deli, Chinese restaurant and a Mexican restaurant within,5 minutes walk. Upmarket supermarket a few minutes further on. Walgreens, pizza place and a Dunkin' donuts about 7 minutes away too.. Rooms are reasonably well equipped and spotless.

It's a basic hotel so there's no facilities but the price and location offer really good value.

The location was great considering subway being just block away, just 1/2 stop to Manhattan, breakfast was really great comparing to others hotel we stayed in USA, variety of products was terrific! Rooms cleaned. We requested the highest floor and when we arrived they put us on highest floor with a view of Manhattan which was very nice, thank you

LIC Plaza Hotel is a short walk from Queensboro Plaza metro station (N, W, and 7 lines) and a short distance from Queensbridge metro station (F line). The location is excellent for getting to Manhattan, LaGuardia, and JFK airports. The staff is courteous and helpful, and housekeeping is manic and daily. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful! The entire facility is smoke-free. The stay was simply great!

The room is spacious and clean and is close to subway. The breakfast is good.

The area nearby close to one of the subways- 21 St. Queensbridge is to be avoid. It doesn't feel too safe.

The staff at this hotel really try hard to make your stay comfortable. We had a problem with our booking and the manager Ms. Fang sorted it out for us effectively.

The hotel is located in an area which is quite rundown and is fine in the day time but at night I would feel uncomfortable walking around.

Breakfast was very abundant, lots of choices. The location was very good, near a subway station. We chose the room with the view of Queens borough bridge. The room is very nice, comfortable bed, with microwave, coffe maker, safe, iron. The bathroom is perfect: with bath tub, shower, hot water.

The hairdryer in the bathroom should be checked, it was not working well. This is just my opinion, they should work on the main entrance of the building, make it more cozy. The main entrance door is not attractive. This is just a small detail, but overall we really liked our stay and would come back!

I enjoyed my stay here - firstly it is in a great location. One train from the airport, and one train into Manhattan for all sight seeing needs. There are restaurants nearby if you don’t feel like going into the city every night etc. The employees at the hotel were extremely helpful - there was a button you could click if you did not want to be disturbed, and a button to request your room be made up. Check in went smoothly, and we were allowed an extra hour at checkout! They also let us store our bags on our last since our flight was a lot later in the day. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast - which had bagels, croissants, fruit and tea and coffee, alongside hot options such as eggs. The bed in the room was so comfortable - even more comfortable than hotels nearby that we have stayed in at a higher price point! Very clean, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC.

Connection in the area was a little spotty at times.

When we first arrived at the hotel, the initial impression wasn’t great. The lobby looked a bit worn and in need of some polish. However, once we stepped into our room, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice, spacious, clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It significantly exceeded our expectations, especially given the contrast with the lobby, which had initially lowered them. During our stay, our room was perfectly cleaned every day, with toiletries replenished every time. The breakfast offered a large enough selection to find something each morning. The location and distances were convenient with just a few minutes walk to the subway station and only two stops away from Central Park. It was also within walking distance of grocery stores, bars, and restaurants, which made it even more convenient.

The lobby could definitely use some polishing. When we arrived, it caught us off guard, making us hesitant about whether we had made the right choice. This feeling fortunately lasted only a few minutes until we reached our room. I couldn’t help but think that if I was searching for a walk-in hotel, I would probably skip this one based on my first impressions. The initial vibe just wasn’t great, and the location didn’t help either. A large, dirty taxi repair shop next door and a couple of rundown houses across the road only added to the unfavorable impression. Combined with the state of the lobby, it briefly made us question our decision.

Location was close enough to 2 subway stations, on a quiet enough street (even though NY is never quiet).

Breakfast can definitely be improved: we stayed for 8 days and there was the very same offer each morning, not even one thing changed. Moreover, the scrambled eggs often run out and you need to wait for a refill. One time, 10 minutes before 10 o'clock, the attendant took the remaining croissants to the kitchen and that was it. If you come late, you may not find a lot to eat. At the same time, it's good you have a coffee machine in the room, but the coffee provided by the hotel is undrinkable. A better quality coffee can go a long way for coffee drinkers.

Everything was perfect! Very clean room, very kind staff! The room is big. They changed towels every day. The room has an iron, an alarm clock, a coffee machine, fridge, microwave oven. The breakfast is very good. The hotel is between 3 subway stations. The nearest is queensboro. Queensbridge and Queens Plaza are also near but I will not recommend using queensbridge at night. Generally excellent location 4 stations to Grand Central. Also it has a machine that sells water and chips in the reception. 1.25 dollar the water, fair price for New York.

I think the breakfast needs more fruits. It has oranges and if you are lucky some bananas and water Melon. Also the water pressure is on the same level all the time and the shower is stable.
