Everything! The beautiful house, the host , the location. Paul made everything possible to feel you welcome. The ride to the Manhattan harbour was wonderful and completely free. The neighbourhood is very safe. The apartment we got was fully equipped, kitchen, bath, a very big comfy bed. Absolute privacy. The house and rooms bring you in a romantic bohemian mood. Paul is an artist and his works are present in the beautiful house.

This place is a great find! The king room I stayed in had a sitting area, fireplace, kitchen and bathroom (although in an unusual layout). It took me 10 minutes to walk to the staton island ferry each day to get into Manhattan. For the price, location, and size of the accommodation - its a fantastic deal!

The room I stayed in was quite close to the street so there was some street noise at night (nothing crazy). The apartment was clean but is a bit dated. The rugs and carpets were clean, but worn.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. City view and very close to the ferry, so easy to get to Manhattan. Room and common areas full of beautiful art by the owner. No breakfast, as was well stated before the stay. I'll definitely be trying to stay here again

Breakfast/coffee would have been a nice touch, but it's really not a big deal as there's a deli across the street. Third story walk up.

The place was affordable and it was close to the Staten Island Ferry to get to NY city.

There is no breakfast with this property, so the B&B portion of the description should be removed. It was not an issue because of the temperatures, but there was no AC in the room that we stayed in.

The location was perfect for our purposes. We were there for the NYC Marathon and it was just a short walk to the start line shuttles.

The Wifi did not work on the top floor, but it wasn’t really a big deal. We just went down to the lobby to plan our days.

The host was extrodinery Location is great just across the river . Close to Manhattan and thete is a free ferry 24/7 from staten island to lower Manhattan

Well its not about the promises its more about location. Dont come with a car unless you going somewhere else then Manhattan....lets say Washington... There is no parking lot in a reasonable fee And you make your way to new jersey you maight pay toll road

The location was convenient to the Staten Island ferry & the Empire Outlets. The host, Paul, was very welcoming and gave a great tour! The room was very spacious & had everything you would need to make a meal. The bed was extremely comfortable!

They did not have breakfast, but did have a mini fridge, oven/stove, microwave, and cooking supplies. The room was a bit warm.

The owner Paul and the location which is a ten minute walk to the ferry. Great deli across the street!

The street noise was a bit much, a rather busy but small intersection of Fort place and Montgomery, could not sleep past seven am.

It’s a nice house, 5 min. away from the ferry. There is a Deli, Restaurants and Bars right around the corner.

The house has 3 apartments. each on a own floor. I had the own under the roof. There was weak or no WiFi in my room.

Great value for money considering how close it is to the free ferry into the city. Spacious king suite on first floor included sitting area, fire place, kitchen and bathroom. The owner is very friendly.

Mattress is on the softer side.
