The rooms were very nice and clean, we loved how big the fridge was compared to most hotels! The Pool and hot tub were great and the highlight was of course the roof top! We spent every evening up there enjoying the view. Would highly recommend staying here.

The only issue was with the rooftop bathrooms. The men’s room was locked the whole time and the women’s toilet wouldn’t flush unless you took the back off the toilet. Easy fixes in my opinion and definitely didn’t ruin the trip for us!

Although the hotel is not strictly speaking downtown, there are several buses that pass through tunnel rd heading towards the downtown area, which is merely 10 min by bus and 25 min walk through the tunnel. The hotel is surrounded by mountains, and the 6th floor top-roof bar is a real draw to take the impressive view in. No breakfast but the room had its own fully equipped kitchen, full size fridge and all the tools to cook any meal. There are free washing and drying facilities, free gym, small swimming pool and jakuzi and complementary coffee in the reception area. Staff members polite and accommodating.

This property is very well maintained with great amenities! The pool area is located indoors and it is very clean. This property has a beautiful rooftop deck that offers stunning views of the mountains, unique outdoor seating options, and even a bar. We enjoyed our mountain veiw suite. The kitchen was modern and stocked with everything one would need to prepare a meal. The room smelled amazing and was clean, also. In addition, the beds were comfortable.

Our refrigerator was not getting cold;however, the freezer was functional. I called the front desk to report this issue and was told that maintenance was only available on certain days, and that someone from housekeeping would come to try to troubleshoot the issue. Unfortunately, no one followed up on this issue.

The hotel is very nice and looks as if it is new. The decor and furnishings are up to date and attractive. It was also very clean, including the grounds. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Also, the green rooftop was gorgeous and a beautiful place to relax. Highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing I did not like was the dog park. Since there is no grass on the property, it would have been nice if the dog park were equipped with artificial turf. Currently, wood chips are covering the ground and it looks dirty and unsanitary. One of my dogs refused to walk around inside the dog park.

Breakfast was good and the staff in the breakfast area were so pleasant and accommodating as was the people working behind the front desk. Walked into our double king room on 5th floor and both of us went WOW...wall to wall view of ocean. The view never got old, even when the one day was too cold, windy and rainy to go out so we sat in our room and I did laundry which was located right down the hall from us. Just looking out our sliders was enough for us.

Maybe a little updating of bathroom could be done.

We had a king Mountain View room. Very spacious very clean! Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Hubby, baby and I slept really well! Staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was PERFECT! Considering this was only a day trip for us, we were able to make so many stops in the downtown area since everything was pretty much 10 min or less away from Candlewood. Would def stay here again.

Loved that you had to use the key card to enter the side door regardless of the hour and the only way the elevator worked between floors was with the room card too. Roof top was a nice addition. Staff were very pleasant!

The person above us was making a lot of noise beyond midnight and again beginning at 6am. I reported the noise to the front desk. Do wish the staircase leading up to Ingles grocery store had been available - it was padlocked.

Our room was clean and spacious. Comfotable, modern, and close to town. Great amenities, especially free laundry and the kitchenette. Staff were very kind.

The bathtub is really slick. I fell twice while showering. Once would've been surprising but twice means there needs to be a safety measure in place. The hold bar is not easily accessible, but if there had been some type of shower mat, I wouldn't have fallen. The lamps in the room were bright white LED, so that affected the ambiance. Soft white would be much better so guests could use the lamps.

Location was a bit sketchy but in a good proximity to a nice grocery store. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating when we decided to extend our stay one more night.

The night staff at the front desk seemed rather annoyed when we had a question late at night. To be fair, it was very late, but I feel like night shift should be willing to be on call if their job is specifically “night shift”? They were still accommodating and able to help us, but I found that rather strange.

Loved the room. So many thoughtful touches from hooks to hang towels on in the bathroom to a well stocked kitchen in the room. Reclining chair, laundry basket, purse hooks…etc. Loved the laundry facilities!! The roof top deck was amazing! It was super clean and well maintained. I would stay there again and recommend. We have been staying in a bunch of hotels on a Road trip and this was far and away the best one!
