Exceptionally clean and comfortable room

I used booking.com thinking I was saving money on the room rate and was informed at check in that I overpaid by $30.00 that could have been saved had I booked directly with the hotel. From now on I will be contacting the hotel first for rates. If using the app does not save me any money then there is no point in using it. Very disappointing.

The Hotel was a 10 minute drive from The Biltmore Estate and also downtown Asheville, which was perfect for us. The staff were friendly, the room, bathrooms, and lobby were spotless, the bed very comfy, and my husband loved the breakfast room and 24 hour coffee!

We had a handicap accessible room and there was too little storage for our clothes. My husband unpacked his suitcases and had to leave his clothes out on the side table in the room. Thankfully mine fit in the three little basket drawers.

The location was good. When I finally got a chance to check in, Sara at the front desk was awesome!

I requested early check in when I booked. When I arrived, there were no rooms ready but the lady at the front desk took my number and said she would call me if something came open. Another family traveling with us called and got early check in after I left my information, I never received a call. I wouldn’t even bother requesting early check in, they can’t/don’t honor it. The staff and the facility are top notch. Room was comfortable ... little cramped but very nice. The location is great for getting into downtown Asheville or into Biltmore.

- the in-room coffee machine did not work, but the staff quickly replaced the machine. - the muffins at breakfast were as hard as rocks ... could not push my thumb into it to break it apart.

We were able to enjoy the breakfast each morning, except for one day. We located an IHOP nearby, so no harm. Cheese in the eggs spoiled our meal on this day. Day three of sausage everyday was too much for my husband....ugh.

Very disappointed that dogs were walking around the lobby. For those of us who do not have indoor animals, this is a dirty amenity. Pretty sure they pee on floors, and it will be very difficult to guarantee we do not take those fleas home with us when we go.

Nice staff, clean. Location was good for where we were visiting.

Breakfast, not great, not real eggs, even though it's included in price, we couldn't eat it, went somewhere else to eat. It says lounge/bar , just beer and wine if you can get someone to wait on you, We went next door to TGI Fridays for a drink. The shower floor gets slick after shampo and soap, it's a hazard.

The spacious and clean queen suite, the location, and the friendly staff. We also loved the contactless checkin through the app and the option to bring our dog.

The room could use more hooks to hang coats and jackets, handbags and backpacks in the entry space. The only place to put things like this is the closet or on top of seating/table surfaces.

Location next to Biltmore is wonderful. Really enjoyed the fruit cup, yogurt, egg fritata, and the infused water in the lobby was incredible!

The larger of the two elevators was not working making getting up to our room on the 4th floor challenging especially in the morning when the housekeeping staff was trying to get to the upper floors with their carts.

Location and clean! Amenities were nice.

Mattresses on both beds we're not comfortable, could hear/feel springs in the mattresses , I did not sleep well tossed & turned all night so won't stay here again. It's ashame because the location is great.

Hotel was clean and the included breakfast the usual good standard. Could walk to Biltmore Village and provided a good base to explore the area.

Maintenance could be better (room door wouldn’t shut and hot water took 10 minutes to come through. Staff could have been a bit more friendly compared to other Hamptons.
