I'm not a breakfast eater (I picked at the food because I didn't get a chance to let them know). However my hubby enjoyed every breakfast. The room was very nice, but the bed was definitely to soft (I had two days of back pain). The bed headboard (top) had dust and hair on it, as well as the outside shower door frame. The place is beautiful. I would like to suggest taken better care of the main front door entry (bugs, leaves, cobwebs and an ashtray that I saw on the porch with the same butt in it for days). We would stay again because of Gigi, Noah and the staff. The hospitality and acts of kindness made the stay great and we enjoyed ourselves.

Great location and beautiful building outside and inside. Tastefully decorated entrance with comfortable sitting area. Breakfast was generous & good with attractive table setting. Our room, 13, was large with good seating & TV. Comfortable temperature. Mattress was comfortable. Shower was good. Staff was nice & helpful.

Unfortunately, queen bed squeaked with any movement. Bed frame needs to be reinforced. No body wash available in shower. Heavy comforter on bed in summer; needed to be removed. Thankfully, there was a lightweight blanket in chest.

This was the best sleep I've gotten in a long time. The room was clean, it was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, all around a great stay! The whole house was absolutely perfect. The furniture is gorgeous, the rooms welcoming and peaceful. All around a wonderful spot!

That I was traveling for work and I had to leave the next morning! I really hope I can return and stay more than one night, just to enjoy the ambiance of the Granville Queen and the friendliness of the staff! Wonderful stay!

The breakfast was delicious, and i especially liked the fresh fruit. I also appreciated access to ice and a drinks. I loved the porch for breakfast and the use of china and tablecloths. I also loved the outdoor porch seating, which I enjoyed in the evenings. The location is wonderful and one can easily walk anywhere in town.

It would be nice to know in advance what is being served for breakfast. The television was confusing and there was no access to regular stations that I could find. I did not want to sign in with my own account. Someone else's email was on the screen, and I did not want to leave mine inadvertantly.

So relaxing from check in to check out. Staff friendly and accommodating. Beds so comfy. Felt like sleeping in a cozy cloud that hugged you. Pillows provided were both firm and soft to meet any need. Breakfast of French toast, sausage and pastry delicious. Will book again soon to explore all that Edenton has to offer.

Beautiful old home transformed into a beautiful B&B with lovely Christmas decorations and a warm cozy ambiance! Friendly staff and a delicious homemade breakfast with great local coffee. What's not to like!

It was a little chilly in the main part of the home but there were just a couple of guests due to it being over the holiday, so I just put on another sweater and did not ask that the heat be turned up (which I am sure they would have done if requested)

Gigi was very accommodating to my food limitations. The fresh fruit was especially appreciated. The Granville Queen Inn is located within easy walking distance of downtown Edenton. It is also in a lovely neighborhood with beautiful flowers and trees in the springtime.

I would have liked soft scrambled eggs, but that is a difficult thing to do when preparing for 10 to 12 people.

The breakfast was marvelous! Pancakes, scones fresh fruit etc. All delicious. It would have been helpful to have had some lower calorie options such as poached eggs, wheat toast, oatmeal and other cereal. The breakfasts all were delicious but quite rich! Still, if asked, Jeanne was happy to prepare something lighter. The house is beautiful and charming. The only downside was that the tv would not work as it couldn't connect with wifi but we didn't miss tv too much. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place is neat and clean. The furnishings are outstanding!! All great!!

Tv did't work and room was too hot one night. Those were the only negatives. Overall it was a great place and we'd like to stay there again.

I loved everything about this inn. It was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The location was so convenient and you could walk to the downtown waterfront. The breakfast was amazing. Would recommend and stay again.

The breakfast was incredible. Better than most high end restaurants. The house was an antique and beautiful. Christmas decorations were beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Common spaces were lush and comfortable. Location was perfect, in the middle of the historic district of Edenton, NC

The house still needed some work. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the shower was too hot, and the air temperature was difficult to control. No housekeeping services. Furniture was too large for our room. Worst of all, my checking account was charged $300 without warning. I had to call the booking company to find out that it was in case of damage. The charge was finally dropped.
