I like the location and the receptionist that checked us in is very nice! Our room is clean and it has all the amenities that we need.

I didn't like that there was no breakfast provided when one of the reasons why we decided to stay at this place was the free breakfast. We were not informed in advance about this matter. They said there was an incident that happened at the breakfast area when we came down to eat. But they could have provided us some pastry or fruit to go - we had to leave early for our trip! There was even no apology about the matter. In booking.com, the room described has one king-size bed and one extra bed. But there was no extra bed. Fortunately, one of my friends is so tiny, so the 3 of us managed to sleep in one bed!

Big compliment to the front office staff, she did a great job accomodating us after were turned away at another hotel. The lady is very experienced and helped us out wherever she could. The kids were offered complimentary snacks whilst we sorted everything out. Rooms are big, beds are good. The breakfast room was busy especially on weekends at the end of breakfast, but still well stocked. Close to the freeway, the airport and Cascade station for great food and shopping. My daughter loved the pool that was quiet and had long opening hours. Parking is free, busy and regulated.

It was a nice place to relax before going to the airport the next morning. Free shuttle service is a bonus.

My credit card got charged twice for my room. I was extremely disappointed. It felt like they were trying to scam us out of an extra room expense. I called to ask them why I got charged twice. They had no reason to charge us since I booked the room through the booking.com app. If I hadn't had to give my credit card information to them, then this wouldn't have happened. Thankfully, they refunded me back. I'm just really disappointed in my experience their. That's the second time I've given my credit card info to a hotel and they took advantage of it.

The 24 hour pool and the staff. Sierra and I believe his name was Leo were so helpful and accommodating. Especially with my two young kiddos that were very excitable. The hotel was immaculate and it was by far the best experience I’ve had during a week + due to house renovation hotel stay. I can’t say enough good things about the staff here! The housekeeper quickly serviced our room to perfection. I even called the front desk asking for nearby pizza place suggestions and was suggested great options. I will stay at la Quinta every time I travel if possible due to the behavior of this staff! Not one single complaint.

Staff is phenomenal! Very pleasant Very accommodating. Always smiling. Even at 3:00 AM. Breakfasts were really good.

These issues were minor to No Big Deal for us but might be a bigger problem to other guests. I would've liked to start out with more than 2 bath towels and 2 washcloths, as we stayed 4 nights. Also, just one coffee pod in our room when we arrived, and it was decaf ugh! Though the housekeeping staff was friendly and helped us when we asked, we had to go find a cart in the hallway each morning to exchange our towels, empty our trash, and snag more coffee pods. Like I wrote above, minor inconvenience to us.

Super friendly staff. Loved the convenient and free airport shuttle, and the pool n jacuzzi is open 24-hours is awesome!! The free parking is the best, I wasn't expecting that. I'm booking with them every time I fly out of Portland.

The only thing I didn't like, actually blown away by was the fact that I was the only one that tipped the shuttle driver! It made me feel sad for her. It's free people!! MORE REASON TO TIP THE DRIVER!

We had 5 people in a double queen suite and it was very comfortable. Probably the largest hotel room I have been in. The bathroom was also large. The pool and hot tub were 24 hours, which was really nice. The breakfast was good and a staff member was on top of keeping everything stocked.

On our third night the heating and cooling system malfunctioned. It kept producing heat and we all got too hot. We just opened the window and let the staff know when we checked out.

We booked through a third party site and were originally placed in a very tiny queen room the size of a closet. However, the manager upgraded us to a nice size king room with no upcharge. She didn't have to but we really appreciated that she did. The entire staff was so pleasant and friendly. Always smiling, and very accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the room was decent with an added desk and chair. The breakfast was a big plus. Every morning I was running out the door for work so it was nice to have coffee, juice and grab and go choices to take with me. There was also hot food (waffles, sausages, eggs, etc) when I did have a chance to sit and enjoy my breakfast. Another big plus was that it was close to the airport, and the shuttle was available for additional stops (shopping, store, etc) very convenient! We throroughly enjoyed our stay!

On the downside, you have to let the staff know a day ahead if you want your room cleaned. So if you forget to call (like I did a few times), I just had to contend with my room not being clean. I was in town for work and I was always running out the door so it was a bit bothersome to come back to no clean towels or linen and an unmade bed and full garbage can. Also, the hotel ran out of clean towels for several days so we had to wait until some were washed before getting clean towels. Not a deal breaker, just an annoyance.

All was good with the room. Having a suite was better than an average room for size and comfort. Food was typical nothing special and due to people coughing in the room and Covid still an issue I would had preferred a grab and go with maybe a bagged yogurt granola bar and apple as an option instead of the do it yourself.

Parking lot too small for hotel size. After dinner had to park on street due to no available spots.

The front desk both in afternoon and even the night staff was approachable and was extremely helpful to our needs. They helped me by saving a handcapped spot upfront for me (I am disabled and walking is hard) so that I was made sure I didn't have to walk far. They were very helpful with getting things we needed for our rooms (we had a suite that had a pull out bed but there was not any sheets or blankets or pillows that we needed) by promptly getting all that we needed. While in pool area there was always a shortage of towels but as soon as we asked them for some they stocked it up immediately as well as making sure the entire time there was plenty throughout the night.(we took advantage of pool and hot tub being 24 hrs that was the whole reason for our trip even swimming on 3 separate times throughout the night and next morning before we checked out). The night desk crew was so polite chatting we us for awhile (another reason for the stay was it was my b-day and again as I said I am disabled so doing physical activities is hard for me but swimming is the one form of exercise that I can do as well as something that I can do with my niece's and nephew and was what I wanted to do for my b-day) Breakfast was amazing and so good-everything was hot /fresh and my niece loved that she got to make her own waffles. I have to say the only thing that I wish was better was that the hot tub was alittle too hot and pool was alittle too cold (but the kids didn't mind cause if they could of they would of slept in the pool room) and the ground around pool and inside hot tub were really ruff had to be careful not to scrape your foot or leg up (which my niece did in pool on steps and it made a large scrape that bleed for a minute but as I said before we told front desk and they attended to the injury quickly by getting us bandaids and a towel for the leg...

As I mentioned before the pool was alittle too cold where hot was alittle too hot. The floor around the pool and in hot tub were ruff and easily scrape your leg up. But the overall night outweighed any concerns of the pool and hot tub temperatures.
