The entrance and exit to the parking area was not difficult to maneuver. The hotel smelled nice and clean everywhere. The room was laid out thoughtfully and generally clean and inviting. The shower head was amazing and the water wasn't hard. The Keurig in the room was a nice feature, too

There was no bathroom fan, which is always bothersome. The carpet in front of the bathroom was torn up and stained, and the one lampshade needed replacing, neither made a good impression. The hotel advertised a restaurant. In reality, the food was tolerable with the dinner we had the night we arrived late, but the menu is small and they had no cook the day we wanted to try breakfast there. They did offer free coffee, fresh fruit, muffins, danishes, and the like that morning.

Great staff. Jim was especially patient and helpful.

Disappointed that breakfast and parking cost extra. Handicap room was pretty nice, but no hooks in bathroom or adequate space for personal items in the bathroom. Upset that we couldn't get a receipt (for around $30) for buying snacks at the store. Our visit to the area was court ordered and we needed receipts for everything. Spa water appeared dirty.

If you are attending an event at PPG Arena, the Cambria is the ideal place to stay. Located directly next to PPG, there is no need to worry about parking or traveling following the event. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. It was a great experience.

The breakfast area was understaffed. I truly felt sorry for the waitress. She was trying to serve the entire room full of guests by herself. My son and I arrived at the same time as another guest and her young son. They requested their food to go. We both sat there for well over a half hour waiting. She eventually sent her son back up to the room and waited alone. I'd hoped to utilize the fitness center prior to checking out, but after waiting so long, I did not have the opportunity to do so. We eventually took our food to the room as well and my son ate as I packed. The food was good. They just needed more staff... both wait staff and cooks.

It was easy to find, the parking was very convenient. The room was so much bigger than the pictures which was amazing and made it more comfortable. The staff was awesome. We tried their restaurant on the first floor and our waitress was beyond perfect! She acted as if we were family and spoke to us like we’ve known each other for years. Chef Charles is amazing at what he does. The portions were huge! We stayed at a Hilton before this hotel and the next time we are in the area, the Cambria is where will stay! Great job!

Absolutely nothing

Had a wonderful staff and the breakfast and dinner was great. I can;t say enough about the awesome staff at this location. Very friendly and communicated with everyone very nicely. I am coming back to Pittsburgh next year and going to stay there again.

The only problem that really stuck out to me was that the shower grout had mold on it and the floor in the shower. I think a good deep cleaning and re grouting the shower would really help because the shower is one of the main thing customers look at.

I liked that the property had the little built in bar with all the TVs downstairs. It was nice and comfortable for my boyfriend and I to watch the game while we waited for our room to be cleaned.

I wasn’t a fan of the way the shower was made. I didn’t like the open door area as opposed to a swinging door to enter and exit. It would become quite cold in the shower due to the openness. Also, the shower floor could have been much cleaner.

The location was perfect because we went to a concert at the PPG. We have stayed here before and that's why we came back. We didn't want to drive back to Morgantown, WV after the concert in the rain, traffic, and it was late so we could just relax. We were able to get there early and had a meal at the restaurant and the food was great.

The temperature control didn't heat the room as much as my wife wanted but maintenance came up and fixed the problem.

If you're going to a Pens game, this is the hotel you want to stay at! Literally, right next door to the arena! The rooms are a nice size, the bed is comfortable, and the staff is nice. There is a nice bar to hang out before or after the game.

I think they could do a better job cleaning. It grosses me out finding hairs in the bathroom. We were giving a handicap room, so the tub was a bit weird, I don't know how a handicap person would even get into such a high tub. It also felt really narrow.

The pool was very nice, I had read other reviews about a "film" not the case. It's just chemicals on black tile, very clean pool and hot tub. Room was clean and fresh. Hotel staff was very nice. We went to the Zoo and coming from a rural area the city is very intimidating but, our vehicle is secured and the area is clean and safe. There is a fee for parking as listed but well worth it. Great stay will be back! It also is right beside PPG arena if you're a hockey fan. We also arrived early and was able to check in early no problem.

Easy access to parking from lobby

at checkout parking pass wasn't validated so we got stuck at the parking exit with a $100 overcharge. Had to go back to checkout to get validated. We weren't even told at checkout that had to be done. Need a "Cambria Parking" with arrow sign in front of hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!! cant tell lot is behind hotel while you're driving up street looking for it. No decaf at coffee station in lobby Shuttle to Duquesne would have been very appreciated. Taxis in Pittsburgh take forever
