The service was excellent and the views/location are the best in Newport.
The one negative was our room looked out onto a terrace where we occasionally saw a member of the work staff pass by which forced us to keep our blinds closed more often than not. This was unexpected and took away from our in room experience.

The Chandler was exceptional in every aspect. The staff was welcoming and made us feel important. We were treated like royalty. The room, services and meals were outstanding. We couldn't be happier with our stay.
Having to leave and return home. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Terrace Cafe was great for breakfast. Lawn chairs and view and atmosphere was great. Federal Room was great.
Terrace Cafe was a bit too informal for our anniversary dinner. Service was a bit too casual and seemed to be understaffed. Never did figure out who our primary waiter was. Food was very good.

Thé service was polite, excellent, and friendly. We loved our Victorian room with a fireplace, it was beautiful! The surrounding area was perfect for walks along the beach and along the Cliff Walk.
Nothing could have been better, except a longer stay, it was booked solid!
