the front desk Rockeyesa Bowman Front office Manager could not find Bookings reservation. So she gave me a room that I payed for with American Express. But Booking had already charged me on my Discover Card. When i called the number for Booking I was told by Victoria that it was never completed. I have an on going dispute With Booking to refund my charge on Discover.

Booking that picked up an email I never use. Because it (email) is tied to my home Computer. But I made the reservation thru my Ipad. Which only has my Yahoo acount. Dont understand how Booking could even pick that up. But the front desk at the hotel didnt have any reservation under my name . So even the email would have had my name. Please get Booking to refund my Discover account.

Front desk staff were wonderful, especially "Honeybun!" I don't know her name but she will know who she is.

I felt the advertisement or description in booking.com was very misleading. It advertised the hotel was in the heart of downtown historic Bluffton when in reality it was in a shopping center. Absolutely nothing historic there. The accommodations were fine but had I known the location I would have booked elsewhere.

Clean facilities, accommodating and kind staff. Location is great near eateries and shopping and not too much of a drive from the beach in Hilton head.

The pull out sofa is extremely uncomfortable. It would be better to sleep on the actual chair than the pull out. Also they don’t monitor the cookies given out to noon wherever ever available during our stay.

I opted to not rent a car this trip and the location of the hotel was perfect for being carless! Grocery store, Target, multiple restaurants, gift shop - all within a block and without crossing a busy street. The staff was friendly and accommading.

Ugh. Prices for lodging in this area have skyrocketed. This property wasn't out of line for the area, but over $700 for four nights at an Express was surprising. So.. not a complaint to this property, but bemoaning the market.

Friendly staff, very good breakfast options provided with stay, comfy bed, easy access to HHH.

Property can't do much about this, but guests should consider asking for a room not near the dumpsters outside. Trash pickup was at 4 AM and it was a loud, lengthy, booming process.

Arrive at 3:00 after requesting early check-in! Was told no rooms available yet, but would call me as soon as one was ready. After no call, went back at 5:00 and had to wait for two couples who were checking in. I asked why no one ever called me - response was, “We’ve been real busy, Sweetie.” As one who teaches Customer Service, that’s the wrong answer! You should never be too busy to respond to a customer! Secondly, Sweetie is not the proper way to address a customer. One desk clerk addressed me this way 4-5 times in 60 seconds! Employees are the front line contact with your present and future customers. The two working Thursday could use some better training!

Well maintained

The bathroom door to our room, 414, got stuck and was hard to close and open. Our grandson, not wanting to wake anyone else up, was stuck in the bathroom for several minutes until he finally push the door hard enough for it to open. He did wake us up!!

The staff is absolutely lovely The rooms are great too

It is very noisy The room offers no sounds proof and my sleep was constantly disturbed my noises coming from the hallway , other rooms devices and parking lot

Breakfast was very good. Location was great. The room was very big and roomy, but so much room was wasted. We had a king bed and there was half a room left over. Would have been nice to have a small table and chairs or a a couple of chairs or recliner. With all the room we had, the only comfortable place to sit was on the bed.

Great place as noted my selections by as noted above.

There were 2 minor issues. First, if you come into the mall complex from the Rt. 46 entrance there should be a small sign at the first stop sign directing you to take a right to the hotel. The only sign I saw was on the other side of the mall which I saw after driving around the complex for a while. Second, the AC in the room was great, but certainly not needed during the cool days and nights I was there. Tried to shut the AC off, but was not successful. Didn't bother staff because i didn't want to appear dumb for such an easy task. Written directions in the room might help.
