The location was so convenient. next to restaurants everything is walking distance and right next to the strand for shopping. Our vehicle stayed parked here while on a cruise as well.

Great location just a block off The Strand. Very large and clean room and bathroom. Decent breakfast, no eggs or meat but a pancake maker and all other continental like cereal, breads, fruit, yogurt, etc. They let us leave luggage before check in and after check out for a few hours, and even phoned us when our room was ready which was sooner than the posted check in time.

The cost of everything is going up, but the room rate seemed a little high for Galveston. It's much too far to walk to the beach. However they really don't seem to have any competition in the historic district as far as a typical hotel stay and it is a nice hotel.

The location was fantastic. There were plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance and local shops were just a block or two away. Once you park, you never need to drive again unless you choose to do so.

The price was a bit steep and it was confusing because Booking.com said we paid in December but when we checked out after our stay (April) it looked as if hotel charged us. I’ll be checking with credit card about this.

The staff here is amazing very friendly We have stayed at the Harbor House many times and we love the location. And the room is outstanding. It is very large and so close the great restaurants and shopping at the Strand. A great place to stay if you are going on a cruise.

The property was gorgeous! From the entrance to the room to the staff, everything was so nice. You truly felt like you were walking into a Harbor building, but everything was so new and updated. The room was HUGE and very nice. The bathroom was updated and clean. Everything was amazing!

property is older and needs some updates! like shower head! curtains that actually block the lights for parking lot at night! the iron used spit water all over my clothing! definitely needs updated! the staff was very pleasant and accommodating! and the location is great!

ALWAYS CLEAN!!!!!!!!Staff always friendly. Location,location, location!!!! It was great for Dickens just a short walk and we were there. My sons first time in this hotel and he fell in love with it. He loves walking and this hotel is the perfect location for it. Bed and pillows great. Of course we recommend this place to everyone. This was my 3rd time here!!!

The best for me was the staff, Dee, at the front desk was great! She stated that she wanted us to feel at home like a family and wanted the experience to be great as if we are home. She has a great heart. That's the best first impression The Harbour House could set out to greet the incoming guest. Thank you, Dee!

we loved the location right at the pier so we could walk around the strand and grab dinner before getting a good night sleep and getting on our cruise in the morning.

we parked at the hotel while on our cruise. there was a shuttle that took us but upon returning there was nothing. we called and reminded them we were getting in and asked and they said there was one coming. we stood in the rain for over an hour before walking the 3-4 blocks in the pouring rain to get back to the car. not super convenient!
