Love the location. Very convenient. Good restaurant and bartender is awesome (Malou)..

Very upset that I can’t get a receipt from the front desk. Travel for work, and book through Booking.com. Always mark that I need a receipt for my company. Can’t get a receipt.

Check in was easy and the room was ready at arrival. The beds were pretty comfortable also.

Room floor seemed a little dusty. Could definitely use some upgrades.

We had a great time being there, everyone was nice. Our first time in VA. Beach.

We thought it was ocean front ,it say ocean front. Kinda disappointed that it is 14 miles to the beach or 21 minutes to the beach.:(

The price was fantastic and room service was very friendly and fast. The pool was big and clean.

Check-in was at 3pm (we put we would be there between 2-3pm when asked on the website) but when we showed up at 5:45pm our room still wasnt ready and had to wait another 15-20min before it was ready. Usually not a big problem but after drivimg 13hrs and expecting the room to be ready it was a little disappointing. We were given a discount for it without asking for one so they compensated us for the wait. The pictures online do make it look like its a brand new hotel but when you see it, its a bit older looking (still clean but it throws you off).

It was not a bad location and I enjoyed speaking with the bartender lady

just two things… We went to Ashley‘s for breakfast on our first morning. I was not too pleased with the food. The set up was great but the food was not hot but somewhat warm. I ended up getting an omelette which was fine. The coffee however was subpar. my 1st cup was cold and when I requested a refill, it was hot but was old. it ended up upsetting my stomach. That leads me to my second thing. I believe it would be a good idea to have travel size medications available for purchase – not just Advil. Everything else turned out just wonderfully.

The location was central to strip mall/restaraunts/scope arena. The bed/pillows were surprisingly comfortable in King room. Nice flatscreen tv and microwave available. Iron/ironing board in closet. The room looked as if it had just been cleaned, so that was a plus. Hotel staff was very friendly.

The carpet in room and tile pattern In shower was dated; however paint looked like it had recently been touched up atleast. The lighting in room is very dim. What was shocking was that breakfast was not included they instruct you to purchase breakfast at attached restaraunt. For the price it’s no reason continental breakfast atleast should be included. Also coffee pots are not stocked in room you have to call for them to bring them to room. That’s putting unnecessary extra work on staff. Really? No one wants to steal the outdated keurig so just leave it in the room. LOL.

We enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn. The rooms were spacious, clean and very nice. All of the staff were cheerful and very helpful. The hotel lobby bar is great!! We were surprised by the size of the pool and had a nice time relaxing out in the sun before our concert. We LOVED the location because we were in town for a concert at the Amphitheatre and the hotel is only 8 miles from the venue! There is also a fantastic Mexican restaurant within walking distance and we had a wonderful breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Virginia Beach.

My room was very clean, updated, and comfortable! The staff were attentive and made sure we had anything we needed. They have a nice pool and overall the the lobby and hotel was clean. cleanliness is a big one for me. We didn’t have bath towels when we arrived but I called the lobby staff and someone brought some up to us. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay and I would stay again!

Everything was fine. The pool was clean in the morning but by the afternoon people had a little debris in one side of the pool. This was the fault of guest who don’t watch their kids but it was okay.

The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

The AC worked well but was on the loud side and had to run constantly to keep the room temp comfortable. The ice machines wokred, but there were black specs that came out in the ice so it was probably past time for them to be cleaned. But the mini-fridge in the room worked great and kept drinks plenty cold enough.

We had the Deluxe King room, it was a very nice room with a sofa bed and a king size bed. The location is great. Near the freeway. We tried out Plaza Degollado Mexican Grill that is in walking distance and it was delicious.

Prior to checking in, my flight was delayed. I gave the hotel a call letting them know I would be expected later than our original check-in time. The lady who answered the phone said that’s okay and she’d still have a room for us. When it came time for check-in, the lady at the front desk had a lot of attitude and was pretty rude. She said that our reservation had been cancelled but another male employee ensured us that there was still a room available.
