Good location, clean rooms, possibility to have breakfast in the hotel, which is rare in this post covid period. Room is quiet, no disturbing noise. Possibility to borrow good quality umbrellas, very useful in the rainy season's heavy downpours. A safe deposit box that actually works.

Only minor things: some items sent to laundry came back still dirty. It may be worth lengthening the breakfast period until 10 am to avoid that all guest come to have breakfast between 9-9.30.

Clean, comfortable and in a great location! The staff are what really make this hotel- friendly, speak great English and provide excellent recommendations on everything. On check in, Tiffany actually sat down with us and talked us through all the great restaurants and activities around the area :) we also exchanged money and did a laundry service and the rates were extremely fair and good on both. the breakfast is excellent too!

Everything is clean but some parts of the hotel (such as our balcony) are looking a bit tired. very happy overall though :)

Excellent location with very friendly and helpful staff who efficiently arranged for everything from transfers to laundry. Lots of breakfast selection and a nice dining area on the roof. Fresh fruit, crackers, and water in the rooms are a nice touch. We liked it so much we booked an extra night!

We initially stayed in the family suite and then added an extra night in a large room. The large room was an excellent value and really nice, with a large balcony. Wish we had done this for all nights. The family suite is nice but more expensive.

This hotel has been so lovely. Clean and artistic rooms. Staff very friendly, speak English and helped us a lot. the breakfast menu has Vietnamese and western style breakfasts and has been the best for us in Vietnam. Quiet rooms with a short walking distance to restaurants, shops, sightseeing, lake, day spas and nice coffee shops.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Hanoi for a few days, and from the moment I made the booking the manager Jackie was incredibly responsive and attentive to any questions or concerns I had and continued to be an incredible help throughout our whole stay. When we finally arrived at the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the staff and, even were able to check in early! I was really nervous about the beds in Vietnam after reading many reviews of how hard they can be, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beds at this hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable with four big pillows and great bedding, which made for a great night sleep each night. We were able to exchange Currency at the front desk for a pretty great exchange rate which made us feel confident that the staff and management were looking out for the guests best interest. The hotel has a great location at the intersection of the French Quarter and Old Quarter so we were able to walk to the destinations we wanted to go to with ease. The staff was always willing to go above and beyond to help us with any issues that we had and we could not have had a better time at this hotel! 10/10 recommend

The property boasts an excellent location close to many attractions. The staff were amazing and could not do more to help you. Breakfast was great value for money. it was delicious and was served from 6.30am which is great if you have activities that start early. The rooms were clean , tidy and decorated beautifully. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Hanoi La Selva is simply the best. Right after booking, I was contacted right away by the property manager, Mr. Jackie via WhatsApp to confirm the booking. Initially, our group was set to stay in the Two bedroom suite but due to unfortunate circumstances, two of our group was unable to make the trip. Mr. Jackie was easy to contact and was able to amend our booking at no extra cost. I am really thankful for this. The location is right at the heart of Hoan Kiem, so everything was easily walkable. Our tours were easily able to locate our hotel for pickup. We would also like to commend the rest of the staff such as Joy, Lily, Percy and everyone else for great service and for going above and beyond their duties. Upon arriving, they made sure we were comfortable right away and offered a welcome drink. They have a map to the city sights, stores, restos, and whatever you need. Breakfast is not buffet style, but made-to-order from a menu. You can order as much as you want though. They offered mostly, noodles (beef, vegetable, chicken), breakfast sandwiches, eggs, coffee, and fruit juices. Another example of great service was when they provided takeaway breakfast because our tour pickup was at 5:30 AM. The rooms are exactly what they look like in the pictures. There was a bidet, walk-in shower, bathroom toiletries, and daily refill of bottle water, instant coffee, tea, and crackers. Housekeeping was done daily. We are grateful to Hanoi La Selva for making our stay wonderful and allowing us to extend for another day due to flight cancellations.

Nothing, everything was wonderful

Hanoi la selva is located in Old quarters which is closer to lot of places like Hoan Kiem lake and the area has lot of pretty cafés , nice places to eat and it is lively area . The staff was very helpful , Jackie lee who was manager helped us with getting a cab to hotel and in currency exchange and also in getting us a cruise to Halong bay at great price. We absolutely loved our stay!!

We had a great time at Hanoi la Selva boutique hotel. Perfect sightseeing tips from hotel manager Lina (Lan) and Jacky. Very friendly and kind. We had a big European and vietnamese breakfast with fresh fruit juice. You can pick every thing you want, so you are definitely not staying hungry. The hotel room was very clean, big, the AC worked well and it was a really quiet place and perfect start for sightseeing the old Quarter of Hanoi. The hotel is close to the lake and you can reach nearly everything by foot. We will come again:-)

Location is perfect to visit Hanoi and to go on trips (like Sa Pa, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay…) Due to it‘s location in the old quarter you always get to be picked up last and dropped off first (which is great, less waiting time in the bus). The breakfast was nice with a good view. The biggest benefit of this location, however, is the very skilled and friendly staff. They work very professional and they will support you with any inquiry you have. Jackie and his team are simply outstanding!
