The location can not be beaten. The La Lisa is 2min walk from the lake, Water Puppet theatre and right in the middle of the old quarter. Our room was quiet, clean, daily amenities, bottles water and room serviced daily. The shower was hot with plenty of power. I loved that there was lots of power points, something lacking in our Vietnam hotels so far. All the staff were friendly, smiling (something that even our more expensive hotels struggle with) and helpful. It’s great value for money.
Can’t really think of any negatives, maybe that the bathroom is small and basically a wet room. Initially I found this challenging but by day 2 I actually quiet like the “wet room” style of bathroom.

The hotel is located in the heart of Hanoi. This is very convenient if you want to go out for a walk or buy souvenirs, or try local cuisine, or walk to the legendary Hoan Kiem Lake - it's only 2 minutes. The rooms quite comfortable for such a lonely tourist as me, it’s glad to have windows even in the cheapest version. Rooms are cleaned every day! But I want to point out the main asset of the La Lisa hotel is the staff. Mr. Long, Mr. Manh, Mr. Trung - they will not only help you with your accommodation and tell you about the possibilities of tourism, but also cheer you up with their brightness and sociability. I would like to note that the staff helped me absolutely always when I needed something. I would like to single out a travel agency separately: if you want to go on the most interesting and comfortable excursions in Vietnam, please contact here. The staff will help you choose any convenient option. Even though there is life around the hotel 24/7, you can still feel comfortable here, but if something goes wrong, you can always contact the hotel staff and they will find a convenient solution for you. I am glad that I stayed in La Lisa - I hope I will be able to stay here as part of my visit to Hanoi in the future. Anyway, I recommend it! Budget-friendly, comfortable, smiling!

Its in the thick of the shops, food places and a short walk from the lake. It’s a family business, which I love! They run the place, clean and are here for you. They speak great English and really try to understand what you need. They are really helpful, logical and clever and ….. if you are really lucky they will have a laugh with you. Oh - and it’s cheap if you’re a last minute traveler 😅
It was a bit noisy… just wear ear plugs 😂 It’s very basic but good for a night or 2 if you’re on a budget

Staying at La Lisa Hotel in Hanoi was one of the best decisions we made. As 3 women travelling together, this place was one of the best purely due to the staff. They were the most accommodating and kind people ever. They helped organise everything including day tours in Sa Pa and Ha Long Bay. This meant all the logistics were planned and we just had to be present. This eased so much stress for us and I cannot recommend them more. Please use their tour services and hotels!!!! Also shout out to Trung who helped us answer every single one of our dumb questions! The location is also absolutely ideal. It is in the heart of the city and so close to literally anything you want. There are amazing tourist attractions in a 5 min walk. Stay at La Lisa Hotel!!!
Bathroom design could be better to make usage easier.

The owner is very accommodating, we arrived very early from sapa and they let us freshen up and leave our luggage for free. Upon check out, they also kept our luggage , again, for free. They have complete amenities for a good night stay, good working ac, plenty of outlets, hot/cold shower, fridge and 2 water bottles. Location is also fantastic as it is within the old quarter.
The blankets are kinda thin but with the value and hospitality you get, not that big of a deal.

Excellent location in the old quater, close to Hoan Kiem lake. Easy for tour pick up. Our room had a balcony over looking the street. Lift to higher floors. Staff helfull and friendly. We found great coffee shops, restaurants and roof top bars close by. Also walking distance from the French quater.
Beds are firm which may not suit every one but were fine for us. Upper floors are quiter. There is a lot of traffic noise in the old town in general.

So helpful staff. Open and friendly all the time. When we needed help or advices we knew who to ask. We had ordered two nights but endet up with five. They also had trawel agency, and we ordered most off our trips from there. Old town is abit caotic, but thats how life is here. So if you like this the hotel is perfect placed. We love Hanoi and if we visit again we hope to get this hotel.

Good location of the hotel, close to the lake. Room was okay but very small. We booked the stay very late that night and the staff responded quickly and was ready on the time of our arrival.
Very small room, we had to walk very narrow stairs to get to the room. We had to walk through money exchange to get to the hotel reception.

Staff was very kind and helpful At first we were not happy with the bed as it is very hard, but we slept so good it didn’t matter in the end. Location is great!
Maybe the fact that the room was very small. The hotel per se is quite small. Very noisy. We could hear the elevator all night going on and everything and everyone around us. Both late at night and early in the morning.

Larger room this visit with a big TV. Tom looked after us well and also organised our trip to the airport using a private car at no charge. Location is excellent.
Hard bed. I was on the top floor but unfortunately noise above me from some sort of machinery on the roof. No hair dryer.
