Perfect location to hit everything touristy by foot. Everything is within walking distance. The interior is quaint. The staff is very friendly. Very conveniently close to where intercity buses arrive in Ho Chi Minh.

Unfortunately there are small cockroaches in the drainage system in the bathroom. But this is probably not unique to the hotel, just the reality of staying in the city center.

Everything is good. The staff and room is good.

I would like to comment on the towels being too old and not white anymore. Should change

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, especially Thanh and Vân, whom manage the daily breakfast bar. The rooms were clean and quiet.

Because of the property’s proximity to the Karaoke bar, the music can be heard loudly at night. Since There is only 1 elevator, sometimes you have to wait a while before you can get the elevator

Staff were great, even the folks doing some maintenance Smart budget hotel in the very centre of Saigon..... Easy transport from airport (49 or 109) or Mien Tay bus station (139) Not too close to the head banger pub street (but an easy stroll) and next to a market

The staff were really friendly. English was good. Bags were collected and delivered to our cars, breakfast serving staff were helpful. The room was simple and adequate for our stay. And the hot water actually worked unlike a number of places we stayed.

The bathtub isn't great, but Vietnam bathrooms tend to have a lower standard in general.

I love the aesthetics of the place. It gives a very Vietnamese vibe. We got a suite but it seems that the room is old and was just repainted to look “new”. The plug near our bed was actually falling off. But overall, I think you get what you paid for. And the place was very near the city center.

It seems that the appliances inside the room and facilities were old. Also, they don’t let you borrow an iron or steamer. If you want to iron your clothes, you need to ask for their service which, of course, comes at an extra fee.

I was a bit wary checking in here as the rating seemed to have dropped quite a bit from that when I originally booked. Having said that, I experienced none of the problems reported in some recent reviews (hot water was always available, WiFi was fine, good choices at breakfast and no queues for the lift). I slept like a log and the room was well serviced every day. Very pleasant reception staff too. Perfectly satisfied - recommended 👍🏼

Some days some of the breakfast dishes looked a little tired (probably just a consequence of putting a big dish out at the beginning of breakfast rather than frequently refreshing it). Having said that the choice was so wide I alway found plenty to eat.

Safe didn't work. No window in room. Breakfast wasn't the best (some food greasy and wasn't replenished).

Location of hotel was good. It was near to everywhere by walk in 10-15 minutes. You can reach to upperfloor with elevator. Aircondition was working very well. Room was cleaned everyday. We got free 2 bottle of water everyday. Breakfast was good enough.

They didn't any help us for tours. We arrived to hotel at 12.00 PM. We hadn't enough money to pay 4 nights room prise in VND. I offer o tguy in reception to pay all money morning after change my money in VND. He wanted my passport until paying room money. I had a rough day and was exhausted. I gaved my passport, so could get room key. At morning, i changed my money in VND and could get my passport. This behaviour is unacceptable. If they don't trust thier guest, they would get one day room prise. I booked my room for 4 days. If i don't pay other days prise, they could check out us. Getting passport for warranty of payment is a rude behaviour.

The location is great, very close to all restaurants, ben thanh market and there were plenty of travel agencies, mini marts etc around the place. The usual facilities were as expected. Breakfast was included and there were decent options. The staff was nice and friendly.

The rooms are quite small and have very little space to move around the bed. The room was clean but there was a specific odor in the room. However once AC started, the odor was no longer felt. There is only one lift in the building so had to wait most of the part but I think nothing can be done about it.
