I often stay at Happy Life Green Hotel when in Saigon because the rooms are spacious and clean, and my stay is always comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the hotel is beautifully designed with a charming match of wood and green surfaces. They provide toiletries. There's a desk to use one's laptop. The shower has hot water and the pressure is good. The location is not bad, in the central district, just a few minutes by taxi away from many restaurants and bars. Breakfast is fine.

In most rooms the aircon works well, but in room 1003 it's weak: that could be a problem in the summer. The wifi is not the best. The gym room is very small, one can go for some cardio but not much more. To the staff: I know you are reading the reviews so please, please, please fix the elevator panel because it's quite annoying that the buttons often don't work. I'd also recommend to add more fruit to the breakfast: it's an inexpensive way to put Western tourists in a great mood.

The room (703) was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom and shower clean. They provide all the toiletries one may need, from soap to razor, and they provide towels. The aircon worked well. The staff is kind, the breakfast good with many Western and local options. There are an armchair to hang your clothes and a desk to use your laptop.

The wifi is a bit unstable but not too bad. The location is 25 minutes away by foot from the very center of the city. The nearest convenience store is 5 minutes away by foot, not 2 minutes away by foot as it's usually the case in Saigon. The gym is extremely small but one can do some cardio.

I've been there many times and you can easily find my many reviews. I don't have much more to add to those reviews. It's a fine hotel with very competitive prices. One thing I could add is that the staff is really working on every little detail: in fact they clearly read the reviews and try to improve in response to the critiques. Another thing I could add is that the design of the hotel is very beautiful, mostly based on green and wood, and agricultural and traditional motives. The gym is minimal, you can't really train there

I stayed in room 802. The room was spacious and clean. They provide toiletries. The staff is helpful. The wifi works well. Breakfast was quite good with many western and Vietnamese options. There's a desk to use your laptop. There is a small wardrobe with clothes racks to hang your clothes.

The aircon was too weak. It was almost sad to watch this poor little machine trying to cool down a room that was patently too big for it. I am usually someone who doesn't like an excessive use of aircon so, if I say the aircon was too weak, it was too weak. The lift panel needs to be fixed: you have to push the buttons several times and hope the panel works before the lift finally starts moving.

Location is a big plus. As a Muslim traveller, this hotel is very near to a mosque and few Halal stalls are just within 5 mins walk. Moreover, these Halal food are very much cheaper than the touristy Ben Thanh market area. Apart from that, room is clean, bed is comfy. Breakfast was provided but unsure it's Halal status (we just took fruits and vegetables by the way). Staffs were very helpful, although I must admit we encountered some language barrier.

Nothing much to complaint. Maybe if they can provide self iron service for clothes is much better.

the price was right. The room we booked was not as expected, advertised as delux, but very small, TV not working, dirty, sink drain plugged. We asked if we could move to a better room, at first was told all booked, but later was called with an upgraded room. This was their premium room which was large, very nice except for the very hard bed (typical for Vietnam). We paid the price difference for upgrading, but it was much better. The staff and front desk were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast did not come with the ‘delux’ room but was included with the upgraded room. It was good.

Excellent Location. Very Posh area. Just aside of main road. But hotel is very soundproof. No noise at all. Very convenient position to go everywhere, from Opera house to War museums, just 2 to 4 KM within. Easy to get GRAB services due to its location. Two Elevators working properly, Front desk workers are really really helpful and always smiling. Even they took our luggage from the entry point to the lift, as there was no lift in that 20 stairs. We have checked in 3.30AM in the morning, they provide us pick-up car from the Airport, And the Smiling Front desk helped us check in within five minutes. Breakfast was plenty in option and the medium of cooking was NICE. Bank to get currency exchange is within two minutes walk, Plenty of dining options nearby the hotel. Wine shop is also close to Hotel. Great regard to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Hotel should have lunch and dinner facilities, Because their Cook was excellent, we missed it.

Very easy to get around from here by taxi to the tourist areas or out of town. You can also walk around a few blocks without too much trouble from traffic, there are small shops and some good restaurants accessible by walking.

Jacuzzi was clean but not much water... but perfect to cool off and the view from the jacuzzi is pretty good too....

The breakfast was wonderfully presented with a good ambient of jazz music adding value to your day.

My room bathroom was directly opposite a construction site with so much noise at night with two beds joined instead of a single large bed. It kept moving apart and in the bathroom, were fruit flies that wouldn't go out the opened bathroom windows.

It’s a little far from the action and tourist attractions but you can walk or take a Grab. This area closes down early at night so if you want food or anything (other than ice cream, coffee or tea) you will need to get it somewhere else if after 9:00 pm
