The owner and his wife were lovely, always available and very helpful. The room was large and very well equipped. Breakfast omelette was really good (there was a wide menu choice for breakfast and evening dinner). I ate dinner there twice, cooked by the owner, and the food was very good. The owner rented me a motorbike at a good rate. He also arranged a 3-day guided trek and motorbike ride at my next destination which was in a completely different town. Finally, he arranged for the bus that I had booked to go to my next destination to stop near his hotel so that I didn't have to travel miles to the official pick up point. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Mr Truong was very helpful from start to finish. He helped organise two full day tours which were great and was our driver (good driving too!). He also organised our tour guide, Thang, who I highly recommend for the two days. He also booked us tickets for onward night bus and let us stay in our room until it came foe a small additional charge. The room was huge with good air con and even a fan too. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was great and there was plenty of happy water on offer! The family were all very friendly. They have a lovely restaurant at the hotel and we found some nice places to eat nearby.

All of the staff (it is mostly, if not entirely, family run) and particularly the owner Mr Truong go above and beyond to make your stay incredible. Our bus arrived in Ninh Binh very late but he allowed us to check in and woke up to give us our key. They offer excellent private tours of Ninh Binh that are really well priced with excellent guides (in multiple languages). We had a brilliant day with a very knowledgeable guide. As well as this, Mr Truong was able to advise us on onward travel and even booked the bus for us. Outside of this personal focus, the room was very nice. It was clean, exactly as advertised and the en suite bathroom was good with a powerful shower. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again if I'm back in Ninh Binh.

The hotel is a little outside of the more touristy Tam Coc area so keep this in mind if you're looking for a touristy spot. It wasn't a big issue for us though as we could easily get an inexpensive Grab/taxi there (it is only about a 10 mins drive).

The property was quite easy to find and a short walk from the bus station. It is not too troublesome to take a public bus from Hanoi. It is built more like a homestay with the guest rooms upstairs. These rooms are thoughtfully fitted out with the safety of the guest in mind. After a sweaty tour, I tried a local dish cooked in-house which was delicious and reminded me of home cooking! The hotel will arrange trips for you as needed and they are very experienced in this area.

Trying to find local street food was a bit difficult. I had planned on cycling, but I think that is best left for a longer trip.

Mr Truong and his family are doing an exceptional job. The owner met us and provided us with map of all the sites we needed to visit in Tam Coc and Trang An. He warned us of the parking schemes and advised how much we should be paying for entrance tickets. The owner also helped us book a bus to Phong Nha when all the tourist buses were already sold out. He was also very kind to give us a lift to the bus stop. Mr Truong's wife gave us free water for the road - so kind! We were also given opportunity to shower and store our luggage after checkout. We had a lunch in this homestay too for extra cost - tasty and cheap, was perfect as we didn't want to search for a place to eat after arrival. We took a motorbike from the property too, I believe it was 100k VND per day. There are lots of petrol stations on the way to Tam Coc. Tam Coc is only 10 mins away on a bike. The room itself - nice, clean, spacious, had AC, fan and everything else we needed. One of the best stays we had in Vietnam!

As I am from Canada, the summer temperatures here are way more hot than I am used to. I had thought that our air conditioner wasn't working but the owner assured me that it would cool the room down fast, and it did! But he had another room ready in case it didn't. My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights and every day all of the people in the hotel were so nice and overall amazing to be around. The family that lives there is very kind and will help you out with anything you need. We booked a couple tours with him and he was always looking out for our best interests, if there was anything we wanted to do, he would make a phone call and find out how we could do it, the best time, and the way to do it cheapest. Personally I would give this hotel a 5 star review and recommend that anyone I know stay here. Absolutely amazing, thank you friendly hotel! :)

Breakfast was good and we are always served with a plate of assorted tropical fruits of every after meal with much satisfaction.Dinner at their restaurant was delicious too, to our contentment.The room was clean,spacious, nicely decorated and with basic amenities a traveller needs .The place is affordable,cozy ,good location and near a small supermarket too.We had a pleasant stay.Highly recommended.We even made a joke about it that their hotel is much better than in a 4 star hotel we stayed on in Cai Rong .The couple (owner) are nice kind,helpful and friendly family.They speak good English too which is easy to communicate and make conversations with them.Thank you.

Really friendly and clean hotel. We arrived at 5am by night train and we able to check in to our room with no difficulty. We were given a good itinerary for the 2 days, and motorbikes for rental to explore the area ($6 per bike). We were also allowed to keep our room until the evening for an extra cost. Overall suited our needs perfectly!

Slightly more expensive than anticipated since breakfast was not included and cost of a late check out was nearly the same price as an extra night. Still good value though.

Our stay in here was doing our Southeast Asia honey moon. We came here to explore Tam Coc and the surrounded here before go to Hue and was an incredible experience with this family. All of them are super kind and friendly and if we were to chose another stay here in Ninh Binh, any place could be better than this. I challenge you to try this accommodation when you come to this area, avoid touristic crowded Tam Coc area and stay here. Mr. Turong will rent you a motorbike for an affordable price and you will take 20 min on road to see all the monuments and attractions. The food here is typical Vietnamese ad is made right in time for you on their kitchen provided by Mr. Turong and his spouse. You will definitely feel like home. Super clean, super comfy, the best place to stay.

Very nice welcoming host that has a heart to help people and make their stay the best. He helped us arrange a day tour with guide for a very good price. Furthermore, he arranged both pickup from our previous stay and night bus to our next stay. We could also checkout much later, which we really appreciated after the long day tour. We really liked the bed, which is a rare find in Vietnam and we appreciated the hot lights in the bathroom as the Vietnam winter was coming in. Very large room for this price category as well.

The location is not the best, as it is not very close to the city center. If you are staying in Ninh Binh for more than 1 night, this might be something to consider.
