Everything, from the delicious breakfast to the cozy room with a massive bed, large windows overlooking the surrounding mountains, and marble tiles, was perfect. The homestay is located in a peaceful area, just outside Ninh Binh, 3–4 km from Hoa Lu ancient town. It’s easily accessible by taxi, bike, or scooter (they provide bikes at the homestay). The area is stunning, with many great spots to explore just a few kilometers away. And, of course, Mr. Dung and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming, even inviting us to dinner on New Year’s Eve. If we ever return to Ninh Binh, we’ll stay here again!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Limestone View Homestay. It had beautiful views and a modern room that was very clean with very comfortable furnishings. The location was great, within walking distance to the Trang An boat ride (which we did 3x) and Mua Cave. Restaurants in town were less than a 10 minute walk. Rooms had excellent noise insulation and was very quiet. The best part of our stay, however, was meeting the owner, Dzung. He was a super wonderful host from the initial greeting to when we said goodbye. We loved his friendly and funny personality. He was able to recommend activities and help with transportation. His wife made fantastic home made breakfasts. We can’t say enough how wonderful Dzung was and how much we loved staying at his vacation rental. We highly recommend this place and will for sure return when we are in the Nihn Bihn area!!

Dzung and his wife were so charming and hospitable. Dzung gave us so much information about the local area, including restaurant recommendations, boat trips and other activities. Unfortunately the weather was bad, but we went to the Bai Dihn temple complex (very impressive) and on a boat trip from Trang An. Our tour guide book said this was less commercial than Tam Coc. It was a beautiful experience. But most amazing was Dzung and his beautiful home. He very kindly upgraded us and we had two double beds. The rooms, which he's gradually fitting out himself, are beautiful marble. As you can see from the photos on this site you're right in amongst the limestone peaks. Dzung is very funny too! Lovely breakfasts!

The property is on a T junction so there's a bit of tooting of horns outside.

Everything. Dzung is the best host you can ask for. You literally feel like you are staying with a friend or a relative. He goes above and beyond. Even helped us arranging transportation from Ha Noi and within Ninh Binh. His wife Dep was so wonderful and kind. She makes the best banana pancakes ever. She also helped us with our laundry. His facilities are top notch. Room was extremely spacious with beautiful shower and view. Location is perfect situated between Tam Coc and Trang An so you have access to everything including Ninh Binh.

That we only stayed 2 nights there. Definitely could be longer.

The property is located in an absolutely fantastic location - close to Ninh Binh, Tam Coc as well as Trang An, while overlooking a beautiful limestone. Dzung and his family were fantastic hosts to us, helping us airport transfer, scooter rental and stayed in constant communication with us through Whatsapp. Every morning we were treated to some amazing coffee that came with delicious banana pancakes with lychee honey and a fruit serving. The swimming pool was quiet and overlooking the whole city. We would be absolutely glad to come back.

We loved out stay at Limestone View. Everything was exceptional - I can’t imagine coming back to Limestone and not staying with Dzung, Dep and their family. The rooms are spotless clean, the beds were large and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The location is great, as you are cycling distance from all of the attractions, but in a nice quite area central to each. For a place so surrounded by nature, we never had any bugs in the room at all — it was so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, they did laundry for us, made us various coffees to try in the morning, plus plus plus plus! Just book a stay here if you are looking at options.

Everything was great

We had the most amazing experience at this homestay. Dzung and his wife Dep treated us like we were family from the moment we arrived to the moment we left and made us and our children feel very special. They are truly the friendliest, most beautiful people and we were so grateful for their hospitality during our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and the location was fantastic - easy to get to all the main attractions and some great local restaurants, walking or via grab/taxi. Waking up with the view of the limestone peaks was incredible, it really felt like we were in a different world, and that we were able to experience local life. The breakfast was also so good - amazing banana pancakes and fresh fruit with delicious local honey. And the coffee!! Thank you for hosting us - we had the best time.

Firstly the family who run this are amazing ….anything you need they will help especially Dzung the husband. Location for me amazing everything in walking or biking distance from the hotel such as Moa Cave and Trang for boats I walked to both quite easily. They also provide bikes for free just get one and lost in the near villages and make some local friends… Also BEST COFFEE IN VIETNAM 😂😂😂 when you stay you will know. I had room with Mountain View it’s all windows everyside so is amazing …..local restaurants near by Dzung recommend a local one which I loved but also the rest are great Oh and the views

Going home

Our hosts Dzung and Deb were the most friendly and helpful people we have had the pleasure of meeting. Daily breakfasts were a treat. Dzung gave us an introduction into the local area and some insight into vietnamese history. We will definitely be back.

Nothing. Even the fact that construction was being carried out didn't spoil our stay . As our hosts were apologetic, and they were putting in an elevator and repairing some damage from the typhoon. It is so good to see a small family business striving to be their best.

Can’t say enough about how wonderful the host, Dzung, and his wife are. They made me feel welcome immediately. It’s clear that Dzung loves his home and he was so full of information about what to do in the area. He also had free bikes and his wife cooked a delicious breakfast every morning. The location was perfect for seeing the area and just a short walk to a few restaurants. The property is very well kept—clean, large, well-appointed rooms, and beautiful restaurant and roof / pool set in gorgeous scenery. Dzung was quick to answer any questions and provides service that was exceptional.
