The room comfort and bathroom were lovely. The chair and ottoman were comfortable, and I used them a lot. I always require a desk for working and this one was a nice size. The staff were amazing. The entry way had a nice fireplace and sitting area with coffee, tea and water self-service The location was close to the metro, the pedestrian areas, restaurants and my seminar venue.

There was confusion about my booking. They had my reservation, but there were extra fees I did not know about. It was worked out it seems. My Credit card seems correct after the changes. My room was not always cleaned. One day I came back to my bed unmade, floor not swept. I had to ask for more toilet paper and facial tissue. The box for the tissue only had two tissues in it when I arrived.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. A/C was flawless. There was a safe, iron with board and complementary drinks in the room. The furniture was new and the room was overall well kept. The view from the room was spectacular. We also got a free upgrade to a king room (original booking was for a queen room) The front desk staff was professional. The lobby provided a good spot to wait and wind down with the complimentary refreshments. The hotel is within walking distance to many must-see places and restaurants in town. Overall I can recommend this hotel and I would stay here again if I visit Montréal again.

This facility was conveniently located in the central part of Montreal. About a 15min walk to the information center where you can catch a tour bus. Also, close to the metro which you can utilize to get around the city. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast is not offered but they do have complimentary coffee and tea all day. I would recommend taking advantage of their parking ($33/day) as you can have access when you need. The front desk staff is friendly and very helpful during the stay. Restaurants, and stores are located all around.

While it was very nice to be in close proximity to everything it also was a bit of an issue. A couple buildings down is a small concert venue and the Violent Femmes happen to be playing the week of our stay-the venue itself was not an issue but it did cause more congestion and noise. Being that we were staying in the city you can hear people yelling and talking loudly outside all night long not really giving a care of what facilities are around.

Hard to properly close the curtains to get privacy; curtains were not large enough. Very annoying to see the guy laying in his bed for hours half naked on the other side of the window!!!. It's not soundproof as advertised. We could hear other loud people in another room

The room was fine for our needs. The Staff was exceptional. Loved the service, kind help with getting around, and friendly vibe. Coffee and water in lobby very nice. We were close by walking or Metro to all of the things we planned to do for this weekend, first trip to Montreal. The people were what made it very special indeed.

Our room was a little dark with all the lights on, due to its location not facing a window- but not a big deal. They had shared with us upon check in about that - it was okay for us. The fridge didn't work, but we didn't really need it - made a note to the staff for future guests, again not a big deal for us this trip. The air control was a little hard to figure out, but the porter came up immediately to help us, and they were so kind and accommodating - took care of helping us right away!

I don't think paying at $30 per night for parking makes a lot of sense to me. Should definitely lower this price.

Reception staff was very friendly; they've helped me with questions at the beginning and organized a map of Montreal (little hint for hotel: always have maps ready and available for your guests!). In the lobby there is a coffee/hot chocolate machine everyone was free to use - great idea!

Unfortunately, I had a breakfast issue one morning and I explained my situation to staff in the morning and to staff in the evening with expectations of a reply from hotel, but I have not heard from them before my departure and still no reply more than a week later. So, although the Best Western presented themselves very good in the beginning in all aspects, I had a negative experience when I left the hotel.

Excellent customer service. Larissa has been amazing at providing me with late check out and with giving me directions for tings to see around. The hotel is centrally located close to all amenities. Eaton Mall and Desjardin gallery are a few min walk away, along with the Old Montreal area, Chinatown and the main St Catherine boulevard known for it's shopping, entertainement, and culture. UQam and Berry Metro station are a few block away. The room is comfortable, it has window that opens for fresh air, which is plus. The amenities are ok. The bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows. The room is well equipped with fridge, hair dryer, large desk, sopha and king bed. Plenty of light. Wifi working perfect. Excellent check in and check out. Smooth and efficient. Took only 2 minutes for either. Hotel has complimentary coffee and chocolate. I received a greeting pacakage at reception (2 bottles of water and 2 energy bar). I enjoyed my stay. And I appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the personnel.

The room felt a bit cold on my arrival so had to call technician to adjust temperature and to ahow me how that works. Minor detail, the room didn't have a sign or 'Do not disturb'. They should add that to the room for travelera needing to sleep in the morning.

Location near Metro stations so get about Montreal from the hotel. Friendly check in welcome and a "goody bag" as we were Genius members. Citrus body lotion in bathroom. The coffee maker in the lobby - we really liked the vanilla coffee. Our request for a room on a high floor had been read and noted and acted upon. Thank you.

There were lots of paper cups provided in the room as well as in the lobby downstairs by the coffee machine. Would china cups that could be washed up be more green we wondered? To be fair, this was an issue we found in most of the hotels we stayed at in Canada.

Would definitely recommend again! The facilities and rooms were clean and well maintained. The price point is pretty good for the city. The beds were comfy and the staff were welcoming and courteous. The convenience to the metro and bus stops, restaurants,etc. it's easy to get to the old town and tourist spots from this location.

The area is a little sketch in the late night after 10pm. During the day it's okay,. So just something to keep in mind when traveling with a family.
