Not a good experience to be at. Rude and rough staff not coperative. There are better places to stay at Colombo for similar price.

Very pleasant room. Good location. Pool is very nice. No alcohol at the bar though sadly.

Hotel staffs were very kind. We had breakfast buffet, and lunch buffet, it was good with many dishes. We liked the room size, it was very clean and neat. Bathroom also was really good, hot water on the spot. Restaurant has a beautiful view of the sea. Very near to Colombo center places. Just opposite, there is a big mall as well

AC was not central, it was a bit old.. taking some time to cool the room. and I think you need to clean the AC filter. And if you add some more western dishes on the buffet for breakfast, and lunch, it will be the best.

Excellent Service It is the ultimate that makes one return. I am a hotelier myself and been with world famous resorts as Lead Concierge. So I recognize service instantly. Kudos to the Front Desk, Bell staff, cafe restaurant, gym to Door men! It is worth investing in training and teach English with Elocution. ( which I like to suggest to Tourist Board) This is mainly recognized for room service staff! So the journey over all with them, the hotels and the country could even further excel. Sri Lanka’s hospitality industry was commended by Prez Imran Khan of Pakistan, and he has travelled the world as well, so it is a huge compliment.

Cleanliness Room comfort w/o over price.

Good selection of food and helpful staff at the rooftop resturant. The whole building was neat and clean - everything was orange. A Welcome drink was offered as we wauted for check in. The staff (from the door man) everyone is all smiles. We were given an upgrade to a premium room free of cost 😊 and was able to organise a late checkout. Our room had an ocean view, sadly this would be gone once the building in front goes up. Room service was pretty good.

It would be good to have alternatives to those who can't have dairy products (Product such as soy milk or almond milk). The operation of the TV could be a bit complicated with two remote contollers. Options like Prime tv and movie and sports channels had to be purchased.

The location was very good. Easy to find.. easy to go to the Colombo city. Staff are very kind, working good, helpful. Very clean and neat. Hot water also immediately come when we open the water tap. Each room iron box and stand available. Rooms have good views. I and my team took 4 rooms for 1 night.

Not much thing but if they have more varieties of coffee, it will be good. Like Americano and capuchino and latte

Lovely hotel located in Kollupitiya. The staff were amazing and very friendly. From the security , the reception , the cleaning team , the Restaurant all staff were very kind and welcoming. we extended our stay and during that time I fell sick at the same time we had requested to change our room the gentleman at the reception Mr. Sufiyan went the extra mile to put me in comfort and allowed us to stay at our previous room until our new room was ready. he also made sure to get things ready for us in a short time and also offered to do our check in at our ease. Time and time again I can proudly say it loud that Sri Lankans are the number one in world class hospitality. no matter how hard it is they are still welcoming and carry a big smile on their face. I’d like to extend my thanks to the lovely ladies Maneesha & Kaveesha for being very supportive and kind during our stay. I wish this entire team at Mandarina Colombo all the very best :)

Staffs knows very well about guests anticipate needs. I liked HK Attendant service , which was amazing. You can not compared with anyone. He is very polite,;humble , honestly, reliable and attention to detail and knows very guest needs. His name is Sathsara. I would say ; his service was outstanding and kept well cleaned and organized 👍. Thank you Sathsara brother. You are one of unique and grate example of Mandarina Colombo. And thanks to IT person who helped me to connect wifi and TV channel. Sorry I did not remember his name .

All was well there.

The room was sophisticated and private, with options for very bright lighting or more cozy. The bed was very comfortable, easily accessible plugs next to the bed, well functioning AC and a view over Galle Road. The breakfast is a large buffet with several options. Of course the staff was always friendly.

Just a minor thing: the type of hangers in the closet made it difficult to use them and the closet overall. There were many items inside (safe, bathing robe, hangers) which I couldn't use only because it was impractical to use.

The hotel is location in a central area, close to many city attractions. Room was clean and price was competitive enough compared to other nearby options.

There is an ongoing noisy construction (a huge skyscraper) just in front of the hotel, this may be an important thing to consider. The hotel pool at the rooftop is very small, only few sunbeds can even fit the area.
