The hotel is located in heart of the city. With gorgeous architecture next to Vernissage market. The staff is super friendly and it will help you with any requests. I have to say they have probably the best breakfast I have ever had in any hotel! High quality. Absolutely delicious!!!! We decided to take hotel taxi for transport from airport and that was good decision. You might pay a little more but it will save time and nerves to find taxi at airport. The room was exactly the same as from booking. Very clean and comfortable with perfect pillows. We really enjoyed!!!

If you are looking for a stylish hotel in the city center, this is a great choice. The location is perfect, right across from Vernissage. Of course, I must mention the hotel's style. Everything is thought out to the last detail. The rooms are cozy, clean, and new. There is also a small pool where you can cool off during the hot summer or simply relax on a comfortable lounge chair. I also want to highlight the hotel's stylish restaurant. Delicious breakfasts from the menu or buffet, as well as lunch and dinner options, with many dishes available for room service. A big thanks to the very friendly hotel staff who helped with any issues. And, to my surprise, the hotel congratulated me on my birthday. Receiving a huge slice of the most delicious cheesecake was a delightful surprise! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back!

The hotel is in a good location, short walk to Republic square and shopping streets. The Vernissage market is right across if you want to browse some souvenirs and have some wine or coffee. Beside the hotel is a bank with currency exchange machine, very convenient. We got an executive room which was a very good size and looked out to Vernissage market. The bed was comfortable, the toilet and bath large. The room also featured Armenian rugs for decor, which was a good local touch. The breakfast is served in a large hall, with high ceiling. We loved the breakfast spread, there were many choices and loved the many cheeses available. We stayed for 4 nights, and after a while breakfast seemed the same everyday, except maybe for some veg and eggs. The hotel also has a showroom for rug making. I was told by a local I met at a restaurant that they are one of those who make good quality rugs at not so crazy prices. (I wished I got a small rug souvenir...oh well.)

We arrived at 2am at Christmas Day and obviously very tired from the long flight. I had also messaged ahead to set up the extra bed. But it wasn't prepared. They had to call housekeeping to arrange everything. We had to help so they could be done fast and we could sleep. Maybe Armenians are not quick to warm up to tourists, because this is what we felt with the people at the front desk. It was hard to get a smile from them. The next days however, they were smiling and very friendly and very helpful especially in booking Yandex for us because we couldn't get the app to work on our phones.

Architectural design and materials used in hotel - superb!! Ideal location for 1st time tourists like us - easily accessible to many visitor spots. Room is clean and daily cleaned. Peaceful at night with very less traffic noises. Breakfast is good, Bar as well! Superb staff support to my personal request for cake and flowers arrangement for my wife's BDay. Carpet making in-hotel an added attraction. Loved the friendly cat and dog outside!! English-speaking staff a plus and added comvenience. Tufenkian Red whine - a must try!!!

Booked for room with balcony but the scenery from balcony is an unfinished or ongoing building contstruction - frustrating a bit. No attendant (bell-boy) staff present to assist us, checking in and out. Some Common breakfast menu repeated daily (sausage, bacon, sunny side up and hard boiled eggs...). Could have added corned beef, fish dishes, congee, etc. . Lastly, i experienced issue on shower hot and cold mixing water and consistency as often times it goes back to very hot option.

We liked the location very much. One can walk almost anywhere. The rooms are large and comfortable. Very clean with a nice shower. The selection at breakfast is enough. Great bread! The staff are friendly, accommodating and very helpful.

The only reason I gave the hotel a 9 and not 10, is because the hot part of the breakfast like the bacon, eggs, potatoes, vegetables, etc. are cold, like room temperature, perhaps a degree warmer than room temerature. That makes for not an enjoyable breakfast. The same goes for the coffee. It is not piping hot as one would expects your coffee. That was disapointing.

Excellent stay, loved the property, location great, breakfast superb, staff friendly and helpful. Apart from the below which was a shame.

Unfortunately, I can only assume a member of the cleaning staff, stole two €50 notes from my room. I should have used the safe but have got out of the habit of bothering because, in 40 years of travelling, I have never had anything stolen before. I would not have bothered writing a poor review except, when I pointed it out to the management, they did not seem at all surprised and just told me I should have used the safe. I can only conclude that they know that there is a problem with theft and they do not want to address it.

This hotel locates near the Republic Square and next to "Vernissage" the souvenir market. The central location of Yerevan is just 10-15 min walking distance from the hotel. Its location is in a quiet region in the neighbourhood therefore it offers you convenience yet tranquil environment. The hotel is equipped with modern facilities with touches of hand woven carpets and rugs hanging over. Its room is clean, beds are large and comfy, shower room is spacious. Our room is overlooking the souvenir market on top floor therefore it gives us a wide view of the city. All members of staff are helpful, good English-speaking, nice and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

The location is excellent, in the heart of the city, stone throw walk from Republic square. The room was sapacious and super comfortable. The breakfast is first class, abundant and variety. The restaurant is beyond words. Scrumptious dishes freshly prepared and served, not precooked. The bar is cozy and with a master cocktail maker. The staff is friendly and eager to guide and assist to make your stay as an unforgetable stay. The hotel has a historical legacy and preserving the traditional veneer. I cannot comment on the facilities. I did not find the time to look out for it.

the weather, it was in the hight of a cold winter and kept drizzling Amsterdam style .

Breakfast was tasty, the location across from the souvenir market was interesting, and the staff were extremely helpful in aligning a car and driver to visit rural churches. They were also helpful in calling taxis, recommending museums and suggesting restaurants. The room was fairly modern but with a few Armenian touches, unlike other Armenian hotels which feel considerably more soulless.

Yerevan does not have many hotels whose vibe recalls old-world glamour, and this hotel gives this a fair shot, though ultimately it is a concrete structure that is well-dressed to look older. Nonetheless it's probably the best hotel in this category.

In a lovely, grand historic building in a fantastic location close to Republic Square and Vernissage Market. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. It’s a lively area with people and activities in the park in front. The hotel has comfortable rooms with very nice views only if you don’t get a room facing the construction at the back. Note that the junior suite faces the back. Breakfast was a good spread with western and local options. Service is good - staff are helpful when needed. We enjoyed Yerevan and our stay at Tufenkian.
