Really close to some good child friendly attractions, 2mins from walk in aviary, reptile zoo and 4mins from dinosaur zoo. Great Filipino cafe down the road. Maccas and KFC in walking distance. Drive through chemist across the road and medical centre. 15mins from zoo. 20mins from CBD. Room was clean and spacious. The freezer in the fridge worked and froze our ice bricks for the kids snack boxes each day.

Tea and coffee weren’t restocked when we arrived and we had to ask for more to get us through the weekend. Only one chair, and our toddlers aren’t old enough to balance cereal bowls (self supplied) so they sat on the floor and used the bottom of the wardrobe shelf as a table.

The room was modern, very clean, and very comfortable. It was presented as a "twin" room but it had 2 queen size beds, each with nightstand, lamp, etc. It came with a fridge, kettle, glasses, cups, coffee/tea and milk, etc. The quality of all the linen was also top. It had an powerful aircon, a toilet with a separate toilet which is another great plus! The area where the hotel is located has amazing attractions and services nearby (English traditional pub, shops, reptile park, aviary, etc etc etc). All this for a very low price, the Leumeah Lodge is the best value for money hotel in the ACT !!!!!

Perfectly located for us, staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable post surgery for me, providing a microwave for my heat pack, bowls and spoons so we can have breakfast in our room for comfort, changed our clean day so my work meeting was not interrupted and even provided a note pad. Our sink blocked and they fixed it immediately. As said we love the location as it is walking distance to our friends house and suits our needs. Thanks again for making our stay comfortable when I really needed it.

The family plus room is super for a big family like us. We had 2adults + 4kids staying there for four nights. The facilities are relatively new and clean. Staff are very friendly. The location is good, near the highway to city but not noise. Easy to drive to the city and all the museums and galleries. Wifi is good and hot water shower is good.

Nothing really. It would be a bonus if the room or the public area has a microwave. During our stay, there were school kids camping. Occasionally you heard kids talking loud. But only for a short period of time. Overall it is a quiet place to stay.

The room was very clean and looked new although it is a couple of years old. Bathroom was excellent and very clean. In room facilities (tea / coffee) were adequate.

On the same day I made our booking (via Booking.com) I had ordered (by phone) "breakfast boxes" for each morning of our stay. Clearly the reception staff member I spoke to failed to record the order - when we checked in we were advised there was no record of the order and since it was a long weekend (Easter) there were no chefs available on staff to prepare the breakfast boxes so we had to go elsewhere to get breakfast each morning.

Room was clean and well set up for two friends travelling - two vanities to use and a separate toilet from the shower room. Also a partial wall to separate the heads of the beds. Several good cafes within walking distance for breakfast.

The room was quite cool, and we ran the AC on 25 when in the room but the bed near the window was still quite cold overnight. Would recommend getting spare blankets from reception. They could provide blankets so it was fine on the night.

I've stayed here several times as it is only 5 minutes away from my family. Clean, comfortable and I love the twin rooms which have 2 queen size beds. Large room. The lodge is next to Gold Creek where there are several cafes, fast food outlets, specially shops and tourist attractions...Cockington Green, mini golf, reptile zoo, dinosaur museum and walk-in aviary.

It would be nice if there was a microwave in the room but they have a "no cooking in the room" policy.

A clean and comfortable room that suited our family and was close to our plans in Canberra. They were able to accommodate our early arrival time, and so we felt prepared and calm when heading to our event.

The parking area is part of a larger carpark (for fast food and shops) so it was sometimes quite busy with fast-moving traffic. You may not be able to park directly outside your room so you need to navigate this to get bags and kids to the room.

Perfectly located in the Gold Creek Village off the Barton Hwy. Short stroll to shops and attractions. Comfortable rooms, decently sized. Lovely bathroom set up and ample storage space for luggage.

The little fridge was a bit noisy when the motor was running and one bed had a broken leg so we propped it up during our stay.

The room was neat, clean and quiet. There was free parking available. The location is awesome - near petrol, chemist, KFC, Maccas - but even better than that it's near a lovely little village shopping area with adorable shops, great cafe, bird viewing, plant nursery and art gallery. I had a wonderful time exploring!

If you don't mind not having a view/outlook, it's perfectly fine. It's a more than adequate for a short stay in Canberra.
